Welcome to historicals. Victrix does great work. I use a lot of their dark ages minis.

Thanks, I wish I had started historical miniature painting sooner. They are a blast to paint. I will definitely be looking at the other eras that victrix does in the future.

That is fitting, the very first ancients miniature set you bought from Victrix was their very first set, the Athenians. Model number VXA001

Those look incredible. I’ve been pervin on Victrix for a while. I just don’t know a whole lot about ancient dudes so I wouldn’t know what kind of army to build. The plastics they make though, make me want to get something. I’ll be watching what you show off.

I highly recommend them. My advice would be to pick an era i.e ancients, dark ages, napoleonic etc and then pick an army from that era. I intend to do Persians eventually to fight against the Greeks and expand my Greeks with Macedonians.

These are beautiful. I'm not super familiar with historical miniatures, but I have started collecting different viking miniatures for several fantasy games.

Thanks for the comment! Have a look at Victrix website for their Viking sets, you won’t be disappointed.

You should try playing Mortal Gods with your Athenians. You'll have a lot of fun with those in a suberp "history light" game.

Hello, I wanted to clarify where you got the historical leaflet (brochure) of the hoplites of Athens and their characteristics? They are not on the website, and when I purchased the set they did not send me one.

Hi there. The brochure was in the Athenian armoured hoplite set. It should be inside with the sprues. If not maybe contact Victrix customer service?

Strange because I have purchased two sets of the armoured Athenian sets and they both had the same leaflet in it.
