    Sean’s review might have held back... but the fact that he owns a custom painted pair speaks clearly!
    I honestly love the look of these speakers. So modern and unique. Just got some Klipsch Forte IIIs in my living room and I’m blown away. I’m sure others have better sounding setups in dedicated room but me and the family are having fun, and ain’t that what counts!!!

    Hello Thomas, another nice review of an interesting speaker from Triangle. I have owned a pair of these speakers now for about 3 months and thoroughly enjoy them. I never thought I would enjoy a horn speaker but I find the Genese Trio excellent for listening to a wide range of music. . . never a bad recording (well rarely). I have no regrets about buying these speakers and I must say I purchased them based on Zero Fedeliy’s review on them! I”m glad your review of them is positive as well.

    • @ThomasAndStereo

      Awesome Nick. Thanks for sharing your experience. My taste is pretty broad and I do enjoy horn speakers now. Having said that, this does sound a bit different compared to the other horns I have tried.

    • @Nick-sk1qp
      @Nick-sk1qp 3 года назад

      I think it is because of the dispersion plug in the horn speaker softens the sound coming out of it.

    I really love these speakers. I've had them for about 4 months. They're musical & engaging... I listen to Jazz, Classical & Pop mostly. Powering them with a Luxman 10Watt tube amp. ----- Mono Ultra Mk2 Streamer -> Holo Audio Spring2 KTE DAC-> Black Ice Sound Stage Enhancer -> Luxman SQ-N150 integrated amplifier & Emotiva 8" subwoofer. Also connected is an iFi Zen Streamer -> Matrix Audio mini i-Pro 3 DAC: that sounds good too.

      how do you find they handle heavy metal? looking for that unicorn for that genre of music that are lively, exciting but not too bright as often heavy metal can have screetchy guitars that have been badly recorded or highly compressed?

      I don't know who you are considering the master / or the student. Both love audio, I know in a position that both of these men are in, can cause problems. Ego, yes, people who are in the media, or in the spotlight, very much like musicians who make it BIG, can have problems. I don't really see this in either one of these men yet, but it could involve there choices, likes and dislikes, so on. Some people are gifted or natural's in front of the camera, they get their point across, without going into uncharted water's. Both these guys seem to like reviewing audio equipment, but 1, in my case, seems to get the point across without making the review tired, or, I don't want to say boring?? But, I think Sean, seems to me, to keep the review fresh, and not using more word's than needed to get the point across, about a certain product. This is in NO WAY a slap in the face to Thomas. I watch Thomas when ever he is talking about a certain product in which I am interested in. Sometimes it seems that Thomas get's stuck when trying to get across his view on a certain products positives and negatives or the way he feels about a certain piece. I don't want to discourage Thomas at all, I love listening to people who are interested in this wonderful and great hobby of Home Audio. We call ourselves Audiophiles, and this is a hobby in which we are always learning, new tweeks, new equipment, new companies. But it's a hobby that never settles for the status quo. We are ALWAYS trying to improve the quality of sound!! Never settle for less! Merry Christmas to everyone and God Bless. I'm close to 70 years old, I have been into 2 channel audio for almost 50 years. And I really wish I went to school for electronics ,I thought I was going to be a rock star! LoL!!! Peace!

    hey Thomas i have a challenge for you,can you put together a sound system thats loud and clear,one that you can hear all the individual instruments,that can be played in a hot loud factory for 24 hours a day,365 days a year,handle people fiddling around with the volume button day in day out,you can use anything old hifi gear or old home theatre systems,for about $100-200 aus dollars,haha good luck,im going to offer this challenge to other you tubers as well

    How does the Trio compare to the Bro 3?

  • @vtkz
    @vtkz 3 года назад +2

    I would never buy again a speaker that is ,,sounded,, or make an bad recording ,,enjoyable,, - For me its way more fun to sort out music and categorise them how the quality is, than a speaker, that makes every song ,,brilliant,, so you dont hear a big difference between recording qualitys. Thats the reason why i use Studio Gear since 3 years and bought now my new Neumann KH310A (+ DAC SotM sdp1000) - i dont see any way that i go back to ,,mushy,, Hifi Stuff :- D but the triangle speaker looks brilliant.

      @@ThomasAndStereo yea, but when you visit some Hifi Groups 95% of the people just know the ,,big names,, and every other ,,exotic,, solution is not realy welcome (even if its sounds better)... @entity279 3 года назад

      I did the oposite.. went from studio gear to hifi ans same.. can't see myself getting back to studio stuff :)
      That said, I was at one point interested to upgrade to the KH310A. I still would be curious how that would fare against some consumer gear. Where it does well or where it doesn't do so well

    • @vtkz
      @vtkz 3 года назад

      @@entity279 Of course there is no right or wrong way. But i was disappointed from the Hifi Gear i heard in the past years and found my Sound in Studio Gear. I dont think that there are many Speakers in that Size of the KH310 that have the same Quality of Bass, the Stereo Imaging, the Details and flat Freq Response. But yea, a test between Studio & Hifi Gear would be very interesting also to show people that you can have fun with Active Studiomonitors and get (mostly) a lot of Quality for your Money
