I use sign often and was wondering how many would pick up on the fact that they used sign language at the end. I love BTS because they always try to include everyone regardless of disabilities. And they are showing that music and dance is not limited to the hearing only. Thanks BTS for not isolating anyone to a box and showing that boxes are meant to be crushed 😅 💜🤗 Happy Birthday 🎂 ARMYs BTS +ARMYS 🌎💜=STRONGER TOGETHER &YOUNG FOREVER 💜

53 yr old grandma ARMY 💜🤟💜 here!! The kids and the sign language OMG got me right in the 💜 heart. BTS has helped me come through a very dark painful period of my life and they have helped build a very strong bond between my granddaughter and I.
It's a hopeful look into post-covid world. In the teaser Suga is reading a newspaper (Jimin reads it and throws it aside in the MV) that has the headline " Purple balloons signal the end of the pandemic " (something along those lines) By the end of the MV everyone has taken off their masks and there are no more restrictions hence we don't need permission to dance anymore. J-Hope points at a sign with major cities around the world probably indicating a tour. At the moment, here in South Africa, we are on a high level lockdown again and it just feels like this will never end but this song brings some hope for sure, and is a good listen on those down days.
I love the sign language and the message. This is a song with so much comfort and hope. The purple balloons, and when they started taking their masks off, I cried at work (I’m a nurse) when I watched it the first time. This is one of the reasons why BTS is so close to our hearts.
At the end Tae in lead where they're using "Sign language" undoubtedly it's Kim Taehyung's (BTS V's)idea cuz our Taehyung started using this sign language and he keep using it many events f he's soo thoughtful that he thinking of every single people in the world...
SUGA has been saying phrase about falling and landing since 2018. "I'm afraid of falling but I'm not afraid of landing" he said on multiple occasions, during interviews, festa, etc and now they used his words in this song
Dicon Interview April 2018 Suga: "We are flying too high. I can see too many things and too far. I thought it’d be always happy to be above the cloud but it’s sometimes scary when I look down. I’m encouraged because we’re flying together. I’m afraid of falling but I’m not afraid of landing." Break the Silence Episode 6 J-Hope recalls what Suga said when they are talking about their future - "When the times comes for us to agree when to let this go, when that happens I don’t think I will have any regrets. Like you said (pointing at Suga) as long as it’s not a crash but a landing, there would be no regrets."
For me, "when u fall u know how to land" not yet about to 'go up again'. For me, its that when we fall it doesnt hurt anymore. Because we accept that falling is part of the process. Then maybe we would go up again. Any interpretation to this are similar and positive anyways... Im just sharing my bits too 😄. Im happy that this song make many people happy like i do, Happy birthday ARMY! 💜
The laundromat disco is a call back and homage to the sadness of Spring Day ( similar Laundry scene) as if to say," no more sadness at your loss, you have permission to be happy now".
The diversity really matters. I saw a black man with his cane and my heart leapt. I’m a woman, but still, around his age and ability level. They also include the hard of hearing community with American Sign Language.
Basically, everything you said is facts LOL. The only thing I didn't quite like about the song -- and this my personal preference -- is that I prefer not to hear autotune to the extent that was used here unless it's a stylistic choice (like Daft Punk with autotune/vocoder). However, this doesn't stop me from loving the song and their message and the symbolism in the video.
Agree…hearing the recent live performances of PTD way better, you really can hear their amazing voice clearly, actually sound wise the live version much better.
it's jimin, The voice that sucked me into their art. So so so unique, that vocal color in and of itself--its honey crispness and clarity--is so frickin divine.
"Life Goes On" they told us that we're in this together "Permission To Dance" they're showing us that we're almost at the end of the tunnel, let's keep going I'm not crying... you're crying! //ctto
"we dont need to worry bc we know how to land when we fall" unrelated to this song but they always said this referring to when their time comes as a group, they're scare of falling but they dont mind landing thats why they give their all every single time nd dont have regrets and i love that
Your right bro they caters all the people regardless the races i really love the song! Armies are all over the world… Congratulation armies 8th year anniversary….
Great reaction! I love that they aren’t ignoring the whole quarantine thing. This pandemic was hard for us and not many artists have really been giving related music to what’s been happening. They gave us bops, smiles, dance grooves and tears this year. 💜
That's because ARMY comes in all ages, shapes and colors, plus let's talk about how we're seeing the end of covid, finally coming out of the tunnel, the world is coming alive again but get that shot. Also at the end of the song they're using international sign language to tell people to have fun and come out and dance. Also the people in white were essential workers.
Another commenter on another reaction made an interesting theory that the different people represented in the video represented people most impacted by the pandemic. I am a healthcare provider who sees covid patients. So I appreciate the love and hopefulness that this song provides.
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them. Thankyou BTS for a wonderful birthday present.
We know how to land reminds me how in martial arts they teach you how to fall before they teach you how to fight so you don’t hurt yourself. So maybe it’s also saying we’re okay with falling cuz we know we won’t get hurt and we’ll just get back up
I have a secret, half-joking idea that BTS is planning to take over the world. This song and video reaches out to the audience of Butter and Dynamite to bring them/us together to connect us, to interconnect us. I believe they will teach us how to land, and how to soften each other’s falls.
Jimin is a black belt in Taekwondo, the first thing they teach you in taekwondo is how to land when you fall so the you don’t get hurt. Turns out there is a right way and a wrong way to land. Also, the choreography has a lot of elements taken from international sign language including the signs for dance, joyful, and peace.
Dynamite: bring the frnds join the crowd 💜 Butter:side step right left to my beat high like the moon rock with me baby💜 PTD: cause we don't need permission to dance 💜✨ Happy birthday to "us" AMi army 💜 I purple you 💜 forever guys
I liked the fact that BTS highlighted essential workers of the pandemic like the waitress, delivery person, janitor, and school personnel. They honored them with this song. And their use of sign language at the end of the video, along with showing kids, seniors, people of color was so inclusive. This song was a gift for ARMY’s birthday but they really gave it to everyone.
This is my permission to breathe song.I'm 67 yr old Army and they kept me sane through the hard days at work during covid. Now this is the worlds victory anthem.I have been there some the beginning and will stay till the end.🤗💜
I love how people take the positivity from bts...you dont need to like them or being an army, you just need to listen to their songs and enjoy life.. i like the concept wild, young and free..🎶 cause we dont need permission to dance
The best reaction of all and I really appreciate it. You helped me out to understand the whole song and it's messages to all of us.. . send love from S. Korea ^^
Yes, you got it. The other two songs were to get the Wild West conquered :) They even said they like this song better than Butter and Dynamite. At the end is their staff dancing with them. So awesome. They deserve it. RM said that K-Pop groups typically do 7 years and they made it to 8 years so they are very happy right now. I can't wait until we embrace them to the point they get the recognition they deserve here. Very good reaction.
This is a feel good happy BTS dancing poppy song that is taking us out of the pandemic. Their message is very clear - do what you want to do by your actions. Of course the cinematography, scenary, and BTS’ visuals, clothing, dance steps were excellent. It’s the right song for the current time. Loved it.
This was the only reaction I needed to watch and listen to your inputs on the song lol I'm proud of who BTS has become, they came a long way, some down to earth artists for y'all. Appreciate the reaction! 💜
You made a very good point about how inclusive this video is. I'm 77. When I saw the ages of the people represented in the video, I felt like I, too could join the party. Side note: on another channel someone (who deserves the credit) pointed out that the video is also a tribute to "Essential Workers" and happy children throwing off their masks. This song is pitch perfect, in every sense of the word. Great review!
I was about to comment that dont care about ppl saying something about streaming/reactions. It wasnt like this years ago..😒 Just like i can respect that there are peolpe who Only wanna stream the first 24h, there are also those who doesnt go overboard and wanna watch reactions in the middle. Ive been an Army since 2015 and this streaming crazyness only started within the past couple years. I feel the athmosphere has turned partially toxic since ppl are constantly telling others what they can and cannot do. I want nothing to do with that. Thank you for youre reaction!! 🙏❤💜
It’s actually out of respect for the artists. Uploading lyrics videos and reaction videos in the first few hrs takes away from the views and partial profits of the original video. For a group like BTS, it matters a lot because for our boys we always strive to break records and set new accomplishments to put a smile on their face. It’s actually something we started since we (Armys) became the first group to get 10 million views in 2015 I think which was a first at that time. So this part of army culture has just continued on and other groups have adapted it and of course have tried to beat our records. Also cause of that, we always try to keep our views high and unbeatable and continue to strive better with every new song
I watch these reactions between my BTS song streaming. I enjoy them because I get different perspectives and then when I stream the song again from the label, I enjoy it even more with each watch/listen. Too many people get caught up in the “rules” that surround streaming. I just wanna genuinely support our guys like all Army and I believe LW does, too. People who are sensitive to the rules, can still stream how they want/feel best about it. No need to micro-manage others though…everyone, just do you! You don’t need permission…to stream, support and DANCE!!
@@elithluxe7568 im sorry but i have been here since 2015 and yes, even though we did stream back then too, it was nothing like it is now. This thing only became this serious when boy with love was released and ever since it has became ridiculous. Im not even sure anymore if ppl are Really doing it for the boys, or is it just to show off other fandoms and groups. You cannot even talk to anyone in the comment section of a new MV and then other are bickering with blinks in the comments, fighting about whos better and what not. If you were here in 2015 as well, you should very well know how it was back then, it really sucks that things have come to this.. respect for the artist... yeah right! I can believe that there are some people that actually believes its out of respect, the rest, they just wanna be able to boss others around, thats basically bullying. This kind of behaviour is not gonna benefit the boys at all in the long run. I already desided that i will support them in other ways, im not gonna get into that kind of athmosphere anymore. Its a shame.
I do not wanna come off just as rude. The whole point here was that during the time i was talking about, like 5 years ago, Army in general was sucha small community in RUclips that it wasnt that easy to really just bump into fellow BTS lover in here. Only time when you knew for sure where everyone was, was when there was a comeback. We would spend the entire day just talking to each other in the comments. Talking about the MV, the lyrics, vocals, outfits, the consept and trying to figure the storyline. That was what i Really loved about those cb. These days NO ONE isnt saying anything about the MV or anything else. Its literally "stream and break the record so that Blackpink wont be able to beat us next time" and "dont use Emojis!!" Literally not a single word about the video it self. Im just mad. Not to anyone specificly and to everyone at the same time. Nothing personal to anyone.
I really like how you explain and how detailed you are about the message that BTS wants to send across with the whole world. And it clearly shows you enjoy and appreciate their music and this video with your reaction and facial expressions. I feel the same. i just hit the subscribe button. See yah on the next video.
Love it!! They did -Life goes on-during Covid & now this is their end of Covid song.. They're at a laundry mat in the middle of the desert - Clean slate-blank canvas? From cleansing-going back to work/school/life..from the beginning people with masks on to the end masks off..there are so many other things in video to look at..I also feel its them getting ready for World tour💗💗💗💗-they were going to be in Orlando May of 2020-didnt happen- hope they start tour there-like a rewind..
This song is beautiful! I read a commenter from another reaction vid that while he and his brother who is deaf were watching the vid, his deaf brother stood up and started to dance because BTS members were using sign language that signed to get up and dance! It made me cry because this song goes beyond not just the hearing fans but, non hearing fans too! 😊 💜
Dude, you're so right about the global message. I just learned that PTD had the finger-walking signs and the peace-signs to reach out to the hearing impaired. Talk about thought and intent around inclusivity. Keep doin' your thing bruddah. Awesomeness.
In fact, the "when we fall we know how to land" is also a response at what Suga said during the FESTA. They were talking about their success and Suga said that he cried in the shower beacause of a sudden fear. He said something like "I was scared because we get so high that we will have to land some day. Landing is ok, but I'm scare that we fall from so high".
When we fall we know how to land reminds me of what they said when they were ruminating about when all of this ends, when they finally stopped being bts. They said "it's okay, as long as it's a landing and not a crash." I love the inclusivity, and also the presence of the high risk in this pandemic; teachers, service workers , the elderly. And also the kids who are stuck inside. And also they used sign language. I am currently trying to learn sign language and that made me so happy.
Fabulous BTS video. Love their voices & their moves are excellent as always. This is such a friendly & wholesome video. Love it & another amazing song to top the charts. Love BTS
Permission To Dance is released on ARMY's birthday and there's a symbolic Purple Balloon throughout the video. They've shown people of all race and age groups, perhaps representing ARMY... considering the diversity of our fandom. I think they also are reminding us of life when we socialize and meet people, the happiness we find when we're around big crowd. The thing that is lost during the pandemic, watching this video made me miss the crowd. But it also gave me a lot of joy with the upbeat music and dancing. They're using ASL in part of the choreo btw....
You just get it! 💜 Hobi once mentioned, '“I’m not much different from all of you. At times, I feel as though I’ve reached a dead end..... There will be times in your life when you question your own decisions, whether it be about your major or your profession, whether you have made the right choice, whether you are doing well or walking the path of failure. And when you do, remember: You are the leader of your own life.”
and also, very simply, even if we're in q-tine, or can't afford to travel, or whatever it is, you can still dance. as long as we have BTS, we'll have the music. "Even if my knees drop to the ground, as long as they don't get buried, it won't matter." yeah, they know how to land! in our hearts and the top of the charts!
I love when everyone take off the masks in the video and with the meaning of the song It like saying “this (COVID) it’s gonna be over soon and we’re gonna be free, dance and be happy together”
I love Jimin's presence too (and his voice, and his dancing, well he's my bias haha) ☺️ But I just wanted to say, I don't see him as competitive at all in the run BTS show, he's all about having fun and just being a happy pill, I love how he is always joking and laughing with everyone, even the staff 😆 he's such a good sport, and I love him for that!! Anyway thx for your reaction, and I agree with you, Ptd has a beautiful message and we're such a lucky fandom to have BTS 😭💜
You "don't need permission to" post your reactions when you want to.💜 Loved your reaction, you always get what the boys are trying to tell the 🌎. 73 year old great grandmother here, proving BTS's global appeal.💜
Some of the movements in the choreography come from International Sign Language: Dance, Joyful (Happy) & Peace. This MV show different ages from kids to adults with different nationalities, any levels of jobs & etc..."Because we don't need no permission to dance". Enjoy life after Covid sort of vibe. We survived & the purple balloons signal hope for the future :) To the ARMY ~ Watch & Listen to BTS Permission to Dance :) "Da na na na na na..."
I loved it, too. For some reas on, it struck a chord and I teared up a little despite smiling the whole time. Did you notice their choreo includes the sign language for the the word Dance?
I love the message this song brings and yes the inclusiveness too. I see all the members wearing what looks like Native American jewelry and belts. Plus the painting of the Grand Canyon. 🥰💜 I like that you react to what you want to react to, and voice your opinions. If we don't like it, we would (or should I say shouldn't) watch it. I really like your reactions. 💜

they also did sign language on their choreo....truly everyone is invited to this im crying

Also, the choreography has a lot of elements taken from international sign language including the signs for dance, joyful, and peace.
nobody could have put it any better. being able to see your point of view and break it down in such a way made me love this song even more
When you said pancakey I died on the ground laughing, as if my Mum isn't already worried about my health🤣
this is the only reaction video that explained precisely why permission to dance is the best english release of bts, thank you Linton!
I cried just when the music started. Continued till the end. Its so beautiful and encouraging
Dynamite: bring the frnds join the crowd 💜
Butter:side step right left to my beat high like the moon rock with me baby💜
PTD: cause we don't need permission to dance 💜✨
Happy birthday to "us" AMi army 💜 I purple you 💜 forever guys
it feels so good seeing them having fun in the video, it's a really uplifting mv for me
2018 suga said he is afraid of falling and not landing...2021 no need to worry cuz when we fall we know how to land.. 😭😭😭😭😭
They are doing sign language while dancing. most are not picking up on that. This is their best. Love your reactions.
The moves they are doing during the da nanananan part are sign language of dance peace and fun it s just so touching
I stopped streaming to watch this haha. I love your reactions and reviews💜
Your slight humor and commentary makes it so enjoyable, thank you for another video Linton 💜 💜 proud to be a TIG
This is a feel good happy BTS dancing poppy song that is taking us out of the pandemic. Their message is very clear - do what you want to do by your actions. Of course the cinematography, scenary, and BTS’ visuals, clothing, dance steps were excellent. It’s the right song for the current time. Loved it.
I saw immediately saw that sign was being used. Was so happy
thank you BTS for including sign language in the video...... i can enjoy the video more now
I love how they use sign language in their dance 🥺🙊💜
Not the first time, i feel like they wanna include everyone! They obviously know they have fans who use sign language!❤💜
@@jennaeveliina313 yeah I know, I love that they thought about that and did it again 💜
Thank you for having the words that express a lot of our feelings.
@@sugamama4049 good vibes! 🙏💜❤
Its literally "stream and break the record so that Blackpink wont be able to beat us next time" and "dont use Emojis!!"
Literally not a single word about the video it self. Im just mad. Not to anyone specificly and to everyone at the same time. Nothing personal to anyone.
side note, the way you speak is so incredibly beautiful oh my gosh. your vocabulary, your pronunciation, your voice in general 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Absolutely 💯beautiful loving them
The choreo was simple and incorporated international sign language that means ‘fun’ ‘dance’ and ‘peace’.
BTS just made millions of armys manifest the end of pandemic with them and i am here for it.✊🏻🥰
wow~~~I'm fall in love with this song immediately~i'm crying~~
Keep shining your light Linton. Nice articulation.
Celebration of Life 💜💜💜
I don’t know if you saw it but they also included sign language on the choreo! :)
Loved your reaction not just because Im an Army but because you dig really in to the concept... and you seem to what youre talking about....
I love how you react the videos and think about the message behind it 🙏
💜🇧🇷💜this song is so fun and the fact that they even has some sign language 🤟 in the MV is amazing seeing people reacting to that as well. 💜💜💜💜thanks
They're at a laundry mat in the middle of the desert -
Clean slate-blank canvas?
From cleansing-going back to work/school/life..from the beginning people with masks on to the end masks off..there are so many other things in video to look at..I also feel its them getting ready for World tour💗💗💗💗-they were going to be in Orlando May of 2020-didnt happen- hope they start tour there-like a rewind..
JIMIN 목소리 톤 쩐자💜💜
This song is beautiful! I read a commenter from another reaction vid that while he and his brother who is deaf were watching the vid, his deaf brother stood up and started to dance because BTS members were using sign language that signed to get up and dance! It made me cry because this song goes beyond not just the hearing fans but, non hearing fans too! 😊 💜
Dude, you're so right about the global message. I just learned that PTD had the finger-walking signs and the peace-signs to reach out to the hearing impaired. Talk about thought and intent around inclusivity. Keep doin' your thing bruddah. Awesomeness.
BTS song “UGH”, “outro:tear”🙏🏻
They also included the sign language in their dance move, the upside down "v" which means "Let's dance"
They said "it's okay, as long as it's a landing and not a crash."
I love the inclusivity, and also the presence of the high risk in this pandemic; teachers, service workers , the elderly. And also the kids who are stuck inside.
And also they used sign language. I am currently trying to learn sign language and that made me so happy.
Fabulous BTS video. Love their voices & their moves are excellent as always. This is such a friendly & wholesome video. Love it & another amazing song to top the charts. Love BTS
I love the sign language in that song!!!💜
Permission To Dance is released on ARMY's birthday and there's a symbolic Purple Balloon throughout the video. They've shown people of all race and age groups, perhaps representing ARMY... considering the diversity of our fandom. I think they also are reminding us of life when we socialize and meet people, the happiness we find when we're around big crowd. The thing that is lost during the pandemic, watching this video made me miss the crowd. But it also gave me a lot of joy with the upbeat music and dancing. They're using ASL in part of the choreo btw....
Your reaction by far was the most in depth, substantive one I've seen! Absolutely love it!😊
Great reaction! Love it so much 💜 permission to dance will be Hits! The MV os so wholesome 😍
Thankyou for supporting our boys!💜
You just get it! 💜
Hobi once mentioned, '“I’m not much different from all of you. At times, I feel as though I’ve reached a dead end..... There will be times in your life when you question your own decisions, whether it be about your major or your profession, whether you have made the right choice, whether you are doing well or walking the path of failure. And when you do, remember: You are the leader of your own life.”
I love your reaction. I cried when I watched the MV. It was the positivity and energy I've been needing.
Yes! Music for all ages 💜 In all of the dance moves from the beginning to end they use International Sign Language✌🏽
and also, very simply, even if we're in q-tine, or can't afford to travel, or whatever it is, you can still dance. as long as we have BTS, we'll have the music. "Even if my knees drop to the ground, as long as they don't get buried, it won't matter." yeah, they know how to land! in our hearts and the top of the charts!
My favorite BTS song and video so far. I've been going through some family stuff for weeks now and this definitely helped lift my spirit.
Jin's voice and he nailed the choreography 💜
You're one of my favorite reactor because u always says the good stuff bout BTS love it so much 💜
I absolutely loved this song, especially when they incorporated sign language 😍 💜
V has that earring too u wearing now.. aw!... Love your reactions.. keep it up.. 💜
Love your reactions 💜WE all stopped streaming to watch
I LOVE IT! It's message is positive and it's so upbeat. I like it better than "Butter!"
For such a happy video, it makes me cry every time.
I love when everyone take off the masks in the video and with the meaning of the song It like saying “this (COVID) it’s gonna be over soon and we’re gonna be free, dance and be happy together”
They incorporated Sign language too!
Your voice is so good sir, perfect 👍thank you 💜💜💜
I love Jimin's presence too (and his voice, and his dancing, well he's my bias haha) ☺️
But I just wanted to say, I don't see him as competitive at all in the run BTS show, he's all about having fun and just being a happy pill, I love how he is always joking and laughing with everyone, even the staff 😆 he's such a good sport, and I love him for that!!
Anyway thx for your reaction, and I agree with you, Ptd has a beautiful message and we're such a lucky fandom to have BTS 😭💜
I love the diversity, like U said, there's all ages & race. I love that. This song gives me a 1970's vibe which was full of fun & colorful.
We survived & the purple balloons signal hope for the future :)
To the ARMY ~ Watch & Listen to BTS Permission to Dance :) "Da na na na na na..."
I like that you react to what you want to react to, and voice your opinions. If we don't like it, we would (or should I say shouldn't) watch it. I really like your reactions. 💜
