Honestly tho, this song now? Idk if they even could count them without looking at each one in person (unless they really do keep up with how many they have lol)!
When they say "This is our last farewell", what I think they are saying is that to their haters, they are so big in the game now, that the others are never going to be able to catch up to them. So, they're saying "See ya"
I see it as "this is our last direct diss track, we won't bother with you anymore", that doens't mean they don't do double meanings anymore, but no more cyphers to defend themselves :_( got army right behind them anyway :)
Such a great reaction. This song isn't aimed at your average haters. This song is devoted to former "friends" in the industry who abandoned, dismissed, and shit talked BTS. This was a "shut the door" statement to those special haters. RM'S "Good luck" was a varsity slap back. Stay well
I'm pretty sure Suga wasn't referencing the movie Ratatouille. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's a reference to the actual French dish called ratatouille.
Could be a reference to both, right? in the sense that he is calling their haters a tasteless "dish" and at the same time calling them rats as the movie protagonist 🤷🏻♀️
@@notavailableraitnaw Nope, Tasteless ratatouille, is not calling someone a rat (since the movie makes a rat make good food... ). I've seen this in a lot of reactions and I'm appalled (not blaming individuals!!!) at the lack of culture :/

The ratatouille reference is about a French stew. He's basically saying you're bland. You pretend to be this delicious dish on the surface but in reality, it's all a front. Once someone tastes you, they can tell, you're not the real thing.
Sidenote, when they say, this is the last farewell, I always assumed it was them saying we’re done writing diss tracks (like their cyphers) about you, we already proved everything to anyone who might say something, don’t even apologize for hating just vanish.
That’s how I always viewed it, especially after namjoon revealed this song kinda came about because they still had some anger inside them that bang pd felt they should write a song to get it out, so in a small way it’s kinda cypher 5 without it being cypher 5. Sure we’ve gotten some other songs where they mention bs haters or something but it’s not in the same way they did all 4 cyphers at all. Like not even a little bit because they’re content with who they are and have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone, nothing to say to haters specifically targeting them for whatever bs they gotta say.
I've seen a few of mic drop reactions, and I dunno why I get so frustrated that no one gets the "tasteless ratatouille" reference. Ratatouille is NOT about the Disney cartoon movie. Ratatouille is an actual vegetarian dish 😂 the movie is named after the dish.

The DUALITY with bts is just insane. You have songs such as boy with luv, fake love, epiphany, and all these other sweet wholesome songs with such deep meanings. And then you have songs like Mic Drop, War of Hormone, Boy in Luv, Daechwita, which are all more rap style and flexing their wealth. And another great point is just their passion and talent. When you genuinley look into their lyrics and listen to their deeper songs they are just so incredibly talented lyrically and vocally and their dancing and rapping is also insane. So many people like to degrade BTS especially in the western kpop industry. When people get over the fact that they don't speak english, they don't look, dress, or act the same you can see the talent. Another extremely notable thing is the reason I respect BTS the most is absolutly nothing was handed to them. Their first studio was a very cheap garage where they recorded some of their best albums such as Dark and Wild. They all shared 1 bedroom, their studio got foggy cause they danced so hard. They went through so many hardships which I don't really want to get into right now. Now they are here. The biggest boy band in the world. They did it all from hard work. The passion and their dedication to their craft is nothing that I've ever seen before. They never fail to show their authentic selves, even if that means back lash. But they also have the biggest fan base in the world excepting them and supporting them. Don't ever underestimate their capabilities and definetly don't underestimate their fanbase. They are the ones that sold out Wembley in 5 minutes with over 114,000 fans attending.

I'm quite late here since I just found this channel yesterday but I'm gonna say that I really love this reaction. Also, this song is such a wonderful song for me, as an ARMY. I love how humble the guys are but I love it better when they brag their achievements sometimes so others won't step on them just because they're a "boyband" or an "idol" or a "k-pop act". Whatever name you attach to BTS, we can't deny the fact that a next level artists as individuals and as a group who are better than "most" artists out there.
Not sure how I ended up on your channel because I get recommended a lot of reaction videos but I'm glad I got here. I truly, honestly, wholeheartedly appreciate the effort to understand everything-especially the lyrics, BTS or otherwise. It's amazing how many people hype up or preach about a song without knowing the meaning behind it.
If you watch the introduction to BTS, there was a segment that RM and Suga was being criticized by Bfree for wearing makeup, that they were like girls, which contradicts hip hop. Many criticized BTS for not being true hip hop or able to rap, because they would be Idols. So if you watch the Cyphers, I believe it was Cypher 2 where Suga says go to Hawaii, that's where Bfree is from. After BTS became so popular and Bfree didn't, he tried to apologize to them, which at the ending of this song, they say "no need to apologize, this is the last farewell". In other words you're not worth taking up our time to respond to. Would have been even more or a diss if they said Aloha!
I thought you saw them altogether on Save Me but yeah, this was early on but they were so awesome already! I also loved how they've evolved from this hip hop style to their more mature stuff nowadays. Enjoy your BTS journey. Staying positive always.
I loved your reaction so much that I just subscribed. I’ve been an Army for just a year and Mic Drop is still my favorite and I can sing the entire second half in Korean now. You’re right by the way. I almost died and had the entire near death experience and everything was white not to mention the incredible beautiful singing I heard.
Ratatouille means stirred food that is originally left over vegetables (from what i read). So tasteless ratatouille means "Tasteless Garbage" if you want to be shady.
I like how u actuallyfocuson background music and lyrics rather than just enjoying the music . Watch Jhope's ego and Jin's epiphany They are really amazing .
Yo btw this is the Steve Aoki remix, so they’ve actually changed most of the chorus lyrics to English which is why it’s not as lyrical as usual. If you read the original lyrics, they’re really good too.
ok ive been watching your bts reactions bit by bit and i just ended up subscribing! as others have already commented, suga is talking about the actual dish called Ratatouille, and the last farewell we believe is more towards their haters? like.. they have come to a point where where they arent gonna let their words and opinions affect them anymore, so farewell haters~ (also, im very very curious to see your reaction to Suga's D-2 mixtape, i feel like its right up your alley, especially songs like People and Dear My Friend)
newly sub here... try their bside WE ON an early diss track that really much feisty than mic drop.. this WE ON is a parent while cyphers and mic drop are the kids..
can i just say, i love your insights and how you have actual commentary when you react to them? also as a group whose base was hip hop, I'd love for you to react to Hip Hop Phile where they talk about their love for hip hop and pay homage to a lot of hip hop artists who've inspired them. it'll definitely help you get to know their roots better! 💜
React to all of everglow songs they only have 5 title tracks out right now. They are killing it right now!! Everglow- BON BON CHOCOLAT Everglow- ADIOS Everglow- DUN DUN Everglow- LA DI DA Everglow- FIRST
J-hope started the restaurant analogies and Ratatuille is the name of a french dish made of vegetables. Everytime people go straight to the “movie reference” I wonder if they also think about Rupaul’s Drags Race because there was a drag queen called Kim Chi (corean famous dish) hHaha It can be a reference tho, but people also believe the mouse name is indeed Ratatuille (it’s Remy) and Suga is calling them rats hahahaha I just love it.
No Linton, Last Farewell to them Haters. They tired of them making fake apologies with empty words, so no need to apologize as the lyrics mentioned. Literally, We're so done with y'all... Oh, yes you're getting their names right.
When the mv goes black and white, you see some burned crashed cars. They are the same cars they used on past MVs. Like the school bus from their debut song called no more dreams or the truck from BU triology run, i need u. It was jins car in the story. Or the smaller car from song called Fire. It was dropping from the sky and got burned. i hope you understand what im saying sorry for my english ^^
Loved the reaction video. Mic Drop is one of my favorite tracks. Their journey in the beginning was not smooth. They were constantly criticized for their looks, their rap style, their lack of trophies and so on from other artists and haters. After they achieved the success they deserved, these old clips of others criticizing them resurfaced and obviously received backslash, leading to them apologizing to BTS. I don't think BTS reacted much to the apologies (please do correct me if I am wrong) and would have been asked constantly by journalists about their reaction. So Mic Drop is their reply to everything.
Try reacting also to their old MV they are all cute and needs to be seen by other too and so you can see the other sides or talents of BTS. That even when they were still young and not yet popular that time their music were all good. Please check No More Dreams, Just One Day, Ampanman, Go Go, Spring Day (live version) War of Hormones. Their moves and choreography are all amazing like in their MV Fire, Not Today, Dope, Idol and a lot more. They're all feel good MV.

He said "it's the first time he sees them in side track mv" 🙂
I know you want to take your time with bts, and i respect that. Can't wait til you do your next one. Always great
I loved your reaction so much that I just subscribed. I’ve been an Army for just a year and Mic Drop is still my favorite and I can sing the entire second half in Korean now. You’re right by the way. I almost died and had the entire near death experience and everything was white not to mention the incredible beautiful singing I heard.
glad im on this journey with u, ur amazing
Ratatouille means stirred food that is originally left over vegetables (from what i read). So tasteless ratatouille means "Tasteless Garbage" if you want to be shady.
IHT....MIC DROP is the
BEST SONG from BTS....
the meaning of lyrics &
the BEATS....it is EPIC......!!
Just waiting for the day you lose your calm after reacting to ugh! or any of the cyphers , that stuff gets you so hyped up istg
They love themselves 💜
Still one of my favorite ❤ BTS song 🎵. Thank you for your reaction. 💜
I like how u actuallyfocuson background music and lyrics rather than just enjoying the music .
Watch Jhope's ego and Jin's epiphany
They are really amazing .
Love, love, LOVE your reactions to BTS!!!!
You called it! Yes, you were right about who was who, too.
Yo btw this is the Steve Aoki remix, so they’ve actually changed most of the chorus lyrics to English which is why it’s not as lyrical as usual. If you read the original lyrics, they’re really good too.
ok ive been watching your bts reactions bit by bit and i just ended up subscribing!
as others have already commented, suga is talking about the actual dish called Ratatouille, and the last farewell we believe is more towards their haters? like.. they have come to a point where where they arent gonna let their words and opinions affect them anymore, so farewell haters~
(also, im very very curious to see your reaction to Suga's D-2 mixtape, i feel like its right up your alley, especially songs like People and Dear My Friend)
And RM write this song … your welcome 😎
Last farewell I took that as BTS saying this is the last time they are going to address the haters, there above that now
newly sub here...
try their bside WE ON an early diss track that really much feisty than mic drop.. this WE ON is a parent while cyphers and mic drop are the kids..
One of my top fave songs! WE ON is perfection personally! I used to love playing that song on superstarbts!
That was adorable when the mics dropped and he was like “i CaLlEd iT” 🤣
First!! Love your videos and appreciate your reactions💖
when he said p1h i wasn’t ready at all, that’s on the recognition they deserve
3:42 suga. And the one in red u thought was jhope is jhope
Go way back to their debut era: "No More Dream" and "We are bulletproof Pt.2"
can i just say, i love your insights and how you have actual commentary when you react to them?
also as a group whose base was hip hop, I'd love for you to react to Hip Hop Phile where they talk about their love for hip hop and pay homage to a lot of hip hop artists who've inspired them. it'll definitely help you get to know their roots better! 💜
React to all of everglow songs they only have 5 title tracks out right now. They are killing it right now!!
Everglow- BON BON CHOCOLAT
Everglow- ADIOS
Everglow- DUN DUN
Everglow- LA DI DA
Everglow- FIRST
J-hope started the restaurant analogies and Ratatuille is the name of a french dish made of vegetables.
Besides loving your voice .... Loved your review ! Boy I watched it twice already
Enjoyed your reactions... looking forward to more BTS reactions from you! 💜💜💜
BTS paved the way
You explain English more clearly than my teachers. (( And I like your reviews, thoughts, explanations and the ways that you did research things. ))
They're all feel good MV.
you have to react to « who is bts : the seven member of bangtan » to get to know them better!
