This update is a let down. It would have been 100 times better to NOT release this video and showcase all that than have us wait over a month to get this and we still don't have it. Giving it to only a small portion of people sucks and makes everyone else not having it feel bad. Release the update for everyone already!!!!
This was literally every quality of life feature I've wanted for the Note Air 3C! The biggest thing I've been missing is easily converting handwriting in notes to text without having to constantly bring up the text box and keyboard. Thank you BOOX!
One feature that I think boox should add as an update is to add Calligraphy pen. This is why I still use my remarkable even though I have the boox go 10.3 and the Note air 3C.
Thanks for that work! I'm really looking forward to getting the update. As a suggestion, I'd love to have infinite vertical canvas on note pages, just like reMarkable. This helps a lot to structure my ideas

As a device user with low vision, I would very much like to have more large text accessibility options in the UI. * For example, a magnifier lens/window that I can manually move around the screen and reshape to fit my need at the moment, including through the UI, itself. A UI text choice that gets to about 17-20 pt font size. Having the screen read to me is ok, but it can be an issue in a space where other people are present. I don't necessarily want everyone in the room hearing my device read my emails aloud as a matter of privacy.
It would be nice to have a transparency setting for the marker tool in Neo Read and Notes. Currently when highlighting text using the marker it covers the text, making it hard to read
Split the top left and right swipe down and add one feature to the middle. Let this feature have 3 tabs that can be swiped between (left - right). 1st. List of your latest Notes and Documents. 2nd. List of your favourite Notes. 3nd. List of your favourite Documents. This is Remarkable and Supernote quick access mixed into one feature.
Feature request: able to read novels or comics with 2-6 pages in one screen. Up to 2 for novels. And up to 6 for comics (some webtoon is too cut out that i need 6 pages for fast read). For now there is preview for 4 and 6 or 8 pages i forgot but i have to swipe for next. A dedicated 2-6 pages in one screen means that i can just tap or press next button for next.
Another feature request: a translations. So put a translation below the original sentence so i can have my original sentence and look up the translation immediately. Another way is put a paragraph of an original text and a paragraph of the translation text. This can help me when trying to learn a language while reading novel.
More than one month after posting about the new version I still haven’t received the update on my NoteAir3C 🤷🏼♂️ and seem to be stuck on 3.5.1 with the firmware update page showing “Your BOOX is up to date”. Can Boox at least provide an estimated date when the update rollout will be completed? (Or do I have to contact support because something is wrong with my device?🤷🏼♂️)

I have a Note Air3 C and when I try to update the firmware it says that I'm on the latest one but I have 3.5.1. Is there something else I need to do to update?
Will this be available for the boox Nova3? Ive been very happy with the continued support for this device. Ive had it for 3 years and it's still amazing.
I hope it would fix (eg delete) a ridiculous and redundant baked in ctrl+shift shortcut on a hardware keyboard, so I could use said shortcut for what it does on every other normal device: selecting text. Otherwise, well, I'm writing here so maybe someone will notice. Already wrote a steamy feedback about this through my boox device
Got my new Note air 3c 4 days ago and just playing around to get familiar 😢 now this new update I'm not gonna get to enjoy the experience of using the original interface then onto the new update 😅. Still it's all cool tho❤

These are great improvements, now put some effort into the Desktop Apps. I would love to be able to edit text notebooks on the device OR the desktop app.
I have and idea that could be useful, it would be nice to have the option to make figures as strange as we want but with the line dotted I mean like when you use the lasso tool that you can make circles with dotted lines, hope I make me understand.

Tags for my handwriting in the note app do no longer work. In the old firmware I could mark my handwriting and then tag it and the handwriting was converted into my tag. Now the field is empty, no conversion from handwriting
Only issue I have with the new firmware is that it seems like the custom patterns that I had set up are now very hard to see, whilst they worked perfectly before. Can this be adjusted anywhere? Tried to search everywhere, but it's really annoying right now.
Could you please improve the ai text recognition export format? It would be great to have the text recognised in A4... so much time consuming to format properly the recognised texts
I found it. You will have to edit the control centre by clicking the button (look like a pen) at the right top corner, then you will see freemark button.

Add a pen that looks and feels like a pen, like supernote. Ipad like pencil does not look professional. Also please add a eraser button on the pen which would make life easier. AKA its the PEN that needs more attention.

I wish you could turn on a "laser pointer" whenever the pen is floating above the screen. It would be super helpful for presentations.

I'd love a reverse screen mirroring so I can use the boox as a secondary display (spacedesk doesnt work on Linux)

I do like the minimalist look of the new UI, but I found it a bit too sharp (with all the corners/boxy shape). It'll take time to adjust, I guess

My Note Air2 plus updated to the latest firmware but there is no freemark option in the control centre 😢
I found it. You will have to edit the control centre by clicking the button (look like a pen) at the right top corner, then you will see freemark button.

The lack of dark mode in NeoReader is what's been keeping me from using it. This is a welcome addition.
Gotta try KOReader with Night mode
But why? It's an eink display, not OLED where you NEED dark mode
