You stayed composed, kept the right attitude and stayed focused and confident. I raise my hat to your dedication. I learn from your videos and keep learning thanks to you
I know a lot of 2 and 3 rail position shots coming off the side pocket. I sure as hell did NOT know this shot by Niels at 17:58. Holy cow what a gorgeous shot. I am sure I would have tried to put the 2 by the 3 into the corner, if it even goes. I learn so much just watching these players. I love it. Niels blew my mind with this one.
The way it became named that was when the western states began playing pool the eastern players were far advanced and all the homes at that time were small houses with the dinning room and kitchen were usually same extended rooms with an arch way kinda defining the separate eatting area from kitchen prep area for cooking. Well the tables were usually dual purpose. They would cover them and use as a dinner table then after dinner they would move chairs and uncover and use for pool playing. So with the end facing the Kitchen was designated the breaking end so in turn the 2nd diamond was called the kitchen line. There were made up rules the western players did like a scratch not necessarily a foul but an actual pocket scratch during the play they would say ball in hand in the kitchen. That was a cheat rules that's still used in many bar play.
These boys both gave us a hell of a match. And thank you to Matchroom for uploading it, and for Chris Melling's commentary in particular, he's always insightful with what he has to say.
Wow what a terrific match was this!!! I guess one of the best I ever saw. I am a big fan of Jason Shaw and also of course of our dutchman Niels. Here in this match Niels realy played top++ wow thumbs up!!
Good he learned his lesson and ran game 8 good pace his old self sharp shooting good job stay humble and paced no one in the world can beat him 99% of the time in tourny play...
Never heard of "kitchen line". Head string, yeah. "Kitchen" is bounded by the head string, which they call the "balk line". Foot string bisects the foot spot/rack line.
In the eighth rack with the one ball just past the side pocket, I can just see Efren hitting the far end rail and tapping the one in with a kick leaving shape on the two.
Jason cut his own throat in game 7 he was praising him self by long pausing when he had the rack ran. You could tell Niels posture in his seat he gave up the game when Shaw did the pretty shot on the 5 just getting out for the shot in the side pocket. Then he was standing there smirking slow chalking then shot with hard low in stead of side english roll and missed the cut on the 8.
Actually Niels is Left eye Blind. He said it on his WHAT IN HIS BAG BLOG, on his own Chanel THE TERMINATOR TIPS. His left eye was inborn blind. And he stated even his sister have a vision problem.
Only thing I don't like is that Matchroom has taken over all aspects of major pool nowadays and they're primarily UK/European.... The American game of Billiards has been compromised as now ALL European now who run all MAJOR events, terrible time for pool
No one has fight like Niels I love it. He never gives up
You can tell Niels is a T-1000 here. The floor creaks way more when ever he is walking around the table.
Jayson is 18 lbs heavier there
Terminator really suits him.
I think you mean T-800 🤓
Thanks Matchroom. Love watching both of these guys, but even as a Scotman myself, Niels is just the man!

Who are you taking to
@@jocu475 Niels
I wanted Niels to win, but oh my god does Jayson have talent!!!
Awesome match. Congratulation to Neils. Hard-earned victory.
Last I heard, Niels and Jayson were seen taking that 4 ball out into the alley................
My idol my coach neils feijen.

It does seem a bit risky with that side pocket

the commentators this entire match were rooting for Shaw *laughs*... they go on and on about Shaw, and only say "nice shot by Niels"... at the most.

Good match great haircuts excellent commentary, real barroom bravado.
I guess you don't like mullets either lol
Excellent match. Not many mistakes whatsoever until towards the end.
8:04 love that Bob Marley "could you be loved" comes on.
Great match never seen a 9 ball tournament like this
If only All other sports possessed the sportsmanship Always seen in Billiards sports, but... not to include Mika or Hatch when they lose.
Haha. True somehow
I think earl has been an exception here as well
What a match!! By the way, the table looks awesome with the red lights...

Incredible match
God these pockets sound amazing 🤤
Very good neils ,, hard luck Shaw 😍
EXCELLENT!
Great match
Jayson Shaw vs Niels Jeijen 2021 World Pool Masters / WHERE?

Way too risky
wish they would identify commentators for these matches.
I love the assumption at 3:36 that an American has never managed a 147. Nice.
@@RazaXML Sure he did. Americans mostly play in America. Because, you know, we live here.
Niels should have played the 4 off the 9 billiard but it was ok.
Yeah, you tell him, he's an amateur amirite? Lol
Does jason aim middle then adjust on the actual hit for the intended spin?
Not like that
Way to go Niels!
Di turnamen ini yang juara siapa?
Never herd it called the kitchen line. We call it the head string
Does anyone here know why the kitchen line was called that?
It's not. It's the head string
Break end the meat of the table.

*See King Lear Ref Again !* 😂😂
You can see on the picyure of the video that Niel won, didn't have to watch the video
So Niels is very right eye dominant according to Phil.
All things considered, a bit of a necessity.
I'm left eye dominant and right handed. Not a necessity to be right eye dominant, but it takes a little longer for me to get on stroke.
How about if you’re almost blind in one eye? You know, like Niels.

No time stamps? 🧐😋
9ball?
Ya niels lo tiene de pato a jayson siempre le gana
I like the lack of class of pool players
Pool is the common man's game, never forget your roots.
Interesting that they use a cheap rack in a world championship.
Idk why I got so invested and wanted shaw to win so badly I got so upset watching the other dude win
jason đánh hay nhưng chủ quan chán vc
Horrible video. Nothing but slow motion shots. Nearly after every single shot we have to watch it in slow-mo. Bad decision.
I think winner of the previous rack breaking is so unfair. Guys could easily whitewash people that way
