Awesome stuff. Way to keep your composure, Terminator! You've improved my game tremendously, and I always look forward to your videos. See you at the next event!💪
They both played well.. unfortunate for Niels with the dry break at the end.. he had momentum up to that point and showed a lot of character to get there! Deserving to win but it wasn't meant to be. Kaci being presented a relatively easy run out after the dry break..but handling the pressure nicely.
After you contact the object ball you have to have any ball make contact with a rail. If not it is deemed a foul. It's in part to stop safety play where players just keep nudging the object ball.
If the three point break rule isn't a part of the tournament rules, then she should have never opened her mouth about it. If it aint a rule, it aint a rule. Look at what happened immediately after she said something to Nils. Kaci gave HIS break a little bit extra because he didn't want to hear it, and he lost the cue ball. She shouod have kept her mouth shut.
What is going on with today's players man? Men and women are playing like robots, no emotions at all, no character, no nothing! Thats why pool in the 80s and 90s is the greatest with players like Earl Strickland and Mike Sigel!
@@adamdew6789 No , i like to watch Pool with players that have passion for the game! I dont like to watch robots who only walk around the table with their expressionless faces and just shoot the balls! Maybe the level of play is higher now , but its way more uninteresting! Thats why I mentioned Earl Strickland for example , because he is not also the greatest 9 ball player, but also a player with charisma and character who speaks what he thinks and dont give a damn about it!
@@sicutd If you did what Earl Strickland did you'd probably get kicked off the tour now, it'll be too distracting for the other players and it'll make the sport look worse if you have a pro smashing cues left right and center just because they missed a ball
I agree. All Phil Yates has to contribute is oohs and ahs, and obvious "after the fact" observations. It's been frustrating me for years. Great match though. I feel gutted for Niels: I was really rooting for him.
Winner break is a ridiculous and unfair way to play this sport. It would be like the American football team who scores a touchdown gets to receive the ball again instead of having to kick it to the other team. Who thought of this winner break idea as being fair? Loser break would make much more sense. Alternating break seems like the right way to do it.
@@villelahti1390 Why did the ref warn him that he wasn't breaking hard enough and wasn't reaching balls to the kitchen? She even warned him he would lose a turn and it would be Kaci' ball at hand!
She shouod have never said a word. It isn't a rule in this tournament and she shouod have left well enough alone. She wanted to hear her own voice is all.

Why was foul at 20.00?

Maybe you like banter more than the sport itself then. The level of play is much higher now

Break 20 and 21 were fouls, only 2 balls made it back to the kitchen on rack 20 and only 1 ball made it pass the headstring
There is no 3-point rule in this tournament. If the break is too soft according to the ref, you get a warning and then a foul.
