They used both stages for this show at the same time. One with former members and the other one with current members and Tina. Playing at the same time. And the stage is amazing. Trenches, barb wires AND the current drummer has his kit on a tank.

From today's perspective there are past and present members on both stages 😃

6:50 This song is only about Vikings going to war, and killing all competition. A history lesson, like all other songs

If I remember Joakim who wrote this song
dislikes performing it more because it doesn't work as well.
If you want to hear a more effective time with Tina Guo
then watch Sabaton's cover of 1916 by Motörhead
She plays the music over the THREE MINUTES of end credits
    and it is so moving:
    ruclips.net/video/HgGhhnQB1gw/видео.html
The video that packs the most punch (so far) as a video possibly
Bismarck (about the last big battleship built by the Germans)
    ruclips.net/video/oVWEb-At8yc/видео.html
(and props for playing on the back of a boat too!)
    For live feelings perhaps:
En Livstid i Krig (in Swedish which is one of the descendants of Norse LOL)
    ruclips.net/video/WBs3G1PvyfM/видео.html
or Lion from the North (about Gustav II Adolph a Swedish king)
    ruclips.net/video/u1Th2hHU7o4/видео.html
AND there is the greatest Sabaton song not written by Sabaton
Pasadena 1994 by Nanowar of Steel
    ruclips.net/video/39CyUAnKUso/видео.html
with a guest appearance of Joakim Brodén.
    Enjoy!

You would probably LOVE the Swedish Viking Metal Artist Hulkoff! He sings in Both Swedish and English, and he sometimes mix in some Old Norse, sings about historic events and a Ton of poetry and his lyrics are amazing!

I like your reaction! 🤘 This is not one of the best songs by Sabaton. They wont dare to do a show without it but there are a lot of songs, more epic and powerful. Check out the official music videos for "Bismarck", "Seven pillars of wisdom", "Uprising", "Lion from the North" and "Steel commanders".

greetings and love from Köln/Cologne, Germany. I just came across your channel and it seems you're a cool dude to hang out with. I'm also interested in whether you make your own clothes, like this helmet, this long sleeve shirt or this absolutely awesome vest. I also heard that you don't know much about metal...? Never mind. I'm a metalhead and a MaidenManiac since 1985. I'm into history in general, but I really like the Middle Ages and the Vikings. I can recommend a few great bands in this area. The 80s Viking metal band 'Manowar' with songs like 'Thor (The Powerhead)', 'Sign of the Hammer', 'Gods of Odin', 'Hail and Kill', 'Battle Hymns'. All live performences is the best way to go..Or the German band 'In Extremo', co-founders of 'medieval rock'. With songs like "Herr Mannelig", "Spielmannsfluch" and "Ai Vis Lo Lop". The German PowerMetal band 'Blind Guardian' with the live version of "The Bard Song & Valhalla" live from Wacken Open Air Festival 2016. And the German Medieval rock band 'Saltatio Mortis' and their songs like 'Finsterwacht' and 'Wir wollen nach Valhalla'. Maybe you'll react to some of it. Have a peaceful weekend, Bloodbeard...sorry, ik ben nog steeds een LUL, ha ☺ stay safe ❤

“Herr Mannelig” by In Extremo is completely unlistenable for anyone who knows Swedish. They didn’t even try to figure out the proper pronunciation and butchered every single letter. I assume it’s the case with every other language they (try to) sing in.

    • @stefanstock953
      @stefanstock953 13 дней назад

@@noneofyerbeeswax8194If you don't know a thing, better say nothing at all, Schmock. The language of the song “Mr Mannelig” is not “Fornsvenska” (Old Norse/Swedish), but rather a form of the later “Nysvenska” (New Swedish), which began around the time of Gustav Vasa and then evolved into “Nusvenska”. (Contemporary Swedish). Some inconsistencies in the language structure also indicate that this is a text mixed with elements of New Swedish and Contemporary Swedish. Thus, the song in its traditional language probably corresponds roughly to what was spoken in Sweden (particularly in central Sweden) in the late 18th century, albeit with occasional archaic tinges. There is currently no evidence that the ballad existed in the Swedish Middle Ages (i.e. before 1521). They also sing in Old Provencal, Latin, Old Spanish, Old Swedish, Icelandic, Old Norwegian, Hebrew, Old High German, Old German, English, Old Spanish / Old Portuguese, Old French, Gaelic. And excellently so, Schmock
