"Why are they singing about a Nazi battleship?" Because that's what they do. They tell stories about history, battles, units, heroes and yes, sometimes also ships. Bismark was a beast of a ship, and it took like third of the whole Royal Navy to sink it. So it was definitely a historically interesting event, and that's what Sabaton is all about. Sabaton is a great Swedish metal band. The majority of their songs deal with military-historical themes, many of which have a connection to the First or Second World War. Now you definitely have to react to Tommy Johansson (the guy at 5:18). He left Sabaton, but has his own YT channel and uplaods every Friday. Like Dan Vasc he turns all kinds of songs into metal. Tommy has an impressive range.
I love Dan's Sabaton covers (The Last Stand and Smoking Snakes). I discovered Sabaton through his covers & absolutely love them...almost as much as Dan.
The captain of the Bismarck was apparently quite the old school type and wasn’t a fan of Hitler. He even refused to use the Nazi salute when Hitler visited the ship, choosing instead to use the traditional naval salute.
Sabaton were running out of ideas to write about, and asked the fans for suggestions. They got enough ideas to last them for years, and this stand alone single was a sort of thank you. They're sponsored by the computer games company that makes World of Tanks, and World of Warships, and they helped with this historically accurate video. Sabaton's history channel is excellent, and goes into the stories behind their songs in depth. They remain strictly neutral and don't take sides.
The true story of THE CHRISTMAS TRUCE 1914. React to the official music video to their song Christmas truce. It´s amazing. And listen to the whole song, even through the credits. An Easter egg is planted there. Their cover to Motörheads song 1916 is also amazing.
Thank you for your reaction! Almost all Sabaton's songs have to do with war, and are based on historic facts. They even have their own history channel on youtube, which provides the historic background of their songs. They take a neutral position when making the songs and are very respectful to the soldiers who fought in the wars. They also pay much attention to detail in their clips. The next three songs I would suggest are: Christmas truce, No bullets fly and 1916 (a Motörhead cover)
@@teckreactions Make sure it's the No bullets fly animated story video, oh and bring towels because you will probably need it, actually bring it for all three videos. Make sure the other ones are the official videos.
Sabaton was founded in Sweden in 1999 and is currently the most successful power metal band. They are fascinated by war in all its facets. In addition to the expected heroes, they also see soldiers who fraternize with the enemy to preserve their own humanity, or the suffering and death of the many nameless soldiers who never became heroes. As you have discovered, they have a website and videos where they explain the background to their songs with a historian. The Bismark was the largest warship to date. When it sank the British Hood, they sank a ship that represented the entire British Navy. The British were accordingly hit hard morally. That is one reason for their fame. The other is the circumstances of their sinking. Due to a lucky hit, the Bismark could no longer change course and finally sank after a long battle. For a long time, it was disputed who sank it. Finally, the film director Cameron financed a dive to the wreck. He could not prove any critical hull damage. The German captain had sunk the ship himself because of the fires and damage to the weapons. The Bismark remained undefeated. The sister ship Tirpitz survived the maiden voyage, but was then sunk in the harbor in a major operation. The Japanese then built even larger battleships, all of which were sunk. Aircraft carriers have taken over their function today. SABATON - Christmas Truce (Official Music Video)
Next on the Sabaton list should be "Christmas Truce", "1916" (tribute to Motorhead), "No Bullets Fly" (anim. story version), "En livstid i krig" (Live in Gothenburg, Sweden), "Night Witches" (anim. story version), "Lady of the Dark" (anim. story version), "Red Baron" (anim. story version), (see a pattern here? 😉) and many, many more. With Sabaton always turn on captions, and ALWAYS watch to the very end (incl. credits), you might miss something important otherwise. Also check out their Sabaton History channel here on YT where they dive deeper into each song's actual history. Cheers from Sweden! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Thank you for your reaction!😊👍... I just love how this band have made so many great songs REAL history events. Greetings from Finland! (by Nightwish fan since 1998)
Thank you ! Fun to hear You making a reaction to Saboton from my country Sweden. The young dude on the guitar is Tommy Johansson and he has now left Sabaton and is making his own music. He is using the drummer from Sabaton, Hannes Van Dahl and plays all other instruments and sing. Your next reaction should be Tommy Johansson and You can chose between Holy Night, Hallelujah, Phantom of the opera, The show must go on and Bohemian Rhapsody but my favorite is Paid my dues by Anastasia. 🙂 looking forward to it !
Legend has it that in the very beginning when the band is going up the stairs, you briefly see a pair of legs swinging. Legend has it they belong to Floor Jansen.
Bismarck scuttled following incapacitating battle damage, 27 May 1941 in the North Atlantic 48°10′N 16°12′W The signifigance of the coordinates is that is where the Bismarck currently lies on the ocean bottom.
Great reaction 😃👍 I love that they even had pyro on the boat 😅 As a Swede I'm happy that you found Sabaton and liked it 😃 There are so much to discover so knock yourself out! You should take a look at Tommy's channel he has aside his skills in instruments a fantastic set of pipes 😊 See you on the next one 🤘
Welcome to the Sabaton rabbit hole! They are awesome musicians, storytellers and history teachers! I'd recommend checking out their music video for Christmas Truce next. Soldier of Heaven, The Last Stand, To Hell and Back, Winged Hussars, Uprising, Primo Victoria, and the animated video for No Bullets Fly are some other favourites of mine.
Sabaton doesn't really write standard "war songs", but songs about what war does to people - it's often the good qualities it brings out (bravery, determination, compassion, ingenuity), or else about the tragedy of lost potential. They have been described as anti-war but pro-soldier, and you've already seen how much effort they put in. I recommend the music videos for _Christmas_ _Truce_ and _1916,_ plus the animated STORY video for _No_ _Bullets_ _Fly_ next. Always watch to the end!
@@teckreactions En Listvid I Krig is a great song to demonstrate this, though you’d need to turn on subtitles to see its English translation. Still worth it to hear a good song and see an awesome crowd singalong.
The Swedish Navy discovered that Bismarck had set out to sea and headed for the Atlantic. They notifired the British navy through inofficial channels. Bismarkc sunk the British battle crusier Hood and the Royal Navy begun the hunt.
They are from Sweden. Formed in 1999, most of their songs (9 of 10 albums) are about Military History. Lead singer Joakim Broden and bassist Par Sundstom are the primary songwriters, and only original members left. Guitarist Chris Rorland joined in 2012, drummer Hannes van Dahl (Floor's hubby) joined in 2014. Seen here is guitarist Tommy Johansson (the guy you thought looked like Emppu), he joined in 2016 and just recently left the band. Thobbe Englund has come back to the band , he was the one Tommy replaced. No it wasn't fun for them recording on that boat, it was cold and wet. The name painted on that boat is 'Primo Victoria", which is the name of the first album released , the title track is about D-Day at Normandy. A 2019 stand alone single , the video was made in conjunction with Wargaming, the company that makes the 'World of Warships' game, that's why the graphics are so good. Since you love history, check out their history channel here on yt, they go into detail on the story behind the music. At least 1 episode for every song.
I love the little details, like how they honor everyone who fought in that battle. Or at the end of another song, how it says "Lest we forget". They awakened in me an interest in seeing historic places. Haven't been many places so far but I managed to visit the monument to Carolus Rex (and the amazing fortress that was the site of his final battle), as well as Bletchley Park and the monument in Bletchley that's called The Glorious Dead as well as recently the monument to the battle at Toba-Fushimi which triggered the revolution in Japan in 1868. I had an interest before, but they increased it to the point where I seek out places when I manage to travel somewhere
Hi! Sabaton is amazing. They have a lot of songs wirh amazing stories.. i suggest to take a look to "Christmas truce"; "no bullets fly (animated story); "the night witches" (animated story); "lady of the dark" (animated story); "1916" (cover of motorhead); "in livstid i krig" (live).. etc etc... The animated stories have a lot of history and context to song, the story and the lyrics.
The Bismarck was the Flagship of the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) in early WW2 until it was stopped and eventually sunk. Sabaton's discography is very much "war is terrible, and can make people do terrible and terrific things"
If memory serves, they filmed this music video over the wreck of the Bismark. And the captain of the boat they filmed this on is the son of a survivor of the Bismark. And it says battle of the Atlantic
Bismarck. The only ship in history to heroically earn the title HE. Normally any vessel is a she; this ship one shotted a battle cruiser and took down a couple other boats as well before being hunted down, disabled and essentially ultimately being sunk by the crew lest she fall into enemy hands. That broadcast in the beginning was the actual broadcast of the reports of HMS HOOD essentially being one shot killed by Bismarck.
The energy of the boys of SABATON, brings the HISTORY to life .... INCREDIBLE! The Video and the performance and music are AMAZING💪🏼💪🏼 Sabaton are my History - Books 📚 👉🏼 The CAPTAIN of this SHIP⚓ is the SON of a Bismarck SURVIVOR and portrays his FATHER 🤎 Thank you so much, from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Is he really son of the surviver, or just the roll of this actor? Never been able to find info that comfirms this anywhere. Seems to be a false rumor to me
The wreck of Bismarck was discovered on 8 June 1989 by Robert Ballard, the oceanographer responsible for finding RMS Titanic. Bismarck was found to be resting on her keel at a dept of approximately 4,791 m (15,719 ft), about 650 km (400 mi) west of Brest. 48°10′N 16°12′W
Sabaton doesn't pick sides in their history songs. they just highlight important battles or heroic actions. Their songs also are highly researched for accuracy and a lot of the song themes are discussed in more detail on their history channel. You could do a few weeks just on their videos, it is difficult to pick just a couple of favorites. No Bullets Fly, Defense of Moscow, Night Witches, Christmas truce, 1916 and a lot more. All their videos are done so good you feel like you are watching mini movies a lot of times. If you love history you can learn a lot watching their music or their short videos on their history channel. Good reaction just suscrribed
One that might be interesting to you is The Last Stand from the album with the same name. It's about the Swiss Guard and their defiant defensive action during the sacking of Rome in 1527.
Sabaton has a historic background to their songs that you can read about (google). They even have a history channel where they break down the history behind the songs. Read about and listen to Christmas truce, The first soldier, 1916, Lady of the dark, Night witches, Ghost division, The last stand, and No bullets fly (animated) after this. You get the history behind no bullets fly at the end of the video. Read about the history behind the songs first so you get a background to them (even Bismarck).
If you want an awesome live song with Sabaton you should react to en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg 2020. The album Carolus rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version, the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldiers view while the English is more from an outsiders view. It is the Swedish version they played at that show so be sure the subtitles are on, I was at that show and all I can say is that you will not regret it. As a side note, the name they gave the boat at 5:01 is taken from an older song by the band, from the older setup of the band. The last part of the text you could not see was the atlantic.
Sabaton Songs you should react to: Christmas Truce No Bullets Fly To Hell and Back The Last Stand Night Witches Father The Unkillable Soldier (Unbelievable that Sir Adrian Carton De Wiart survived all those Wounds) The First two song will guaranteed restore Faith in Humanity.
Great reaction to my favourite band!🤘 Check out "Screaming Eagles" (official music video) and also their Sabaton History Channel episode for that song. Also their animated music video for "No bullets fly". (Tissues needed...) Greetings from Sweden!🇸🇪 Edit: Btw, you might have a new "army" marching in... 😁
Sabaton gives historical backgrounds to all their songs & they also have a 24-hour RUclips channel. Their drum set base is one of 2 custom-made tanks. Their behind the scenes stuff is hilarious. The guitarist you questioned in the beginning is Tommy Johannsen, who recently left the group on good terms to pursue other ventures. You should check out his solo stuff which is great & often quite funny, too. He does a funny cover of Rednex version of Cotton-eyed Joe and his Abba cover "Money Money" is fantastic (better than the original).
This video was made in conjuction with Wargaming, the creator of (amongst others) World of Tanks and World of Warships. They do the CG for this music video.
Sabaton has a DEEP libary of songs and most of them have historical significance. They also operate a second youtube channel that is about each of their songs that goes into detail about the making of the song & the history of the song itself.
Thanks for your reaction to this great band. I agree with all the suggestions but you should really also check out their live performances. En Livistid i krig, Carolus Rex, Red Baron, To hell and back and many more! Also check out Tommy Johansson, he is an excellent singer and musician and a wonderful human being!
Hi! If I recall correctly, they made the video, at least partially in partnership with the video game World of Warships, which is how most of the battle scenes are shown. Like others have said, a lot of their songs are military history, always seen from soldier's perspective, never taking sides which is why they can do a song about the Bismarck and one about D-Day (Primo Victoria) for instance. As for the next song, I recommend Night Witches for a more fast paced, punchy (not Joakim's thigh this time) song!
Awesome reaction! Great to see you dipping your toes into Sabaton (pun intended - they take their name from the part of a knights armor that covers the foot). I think you will find lots of their catalog to your liking.
What you are watching are the Ghosts of the Battle. Taken back in time to witness events as they took place. Many people do NOT realize the German Navy never used the Nazi Salute on board ship. They refused to dismiss Officers with Jewish Blood. Do not mix up a political party with a race of people. People that admire warships from ALL nations can do so without agreeing on that nations ideology. Bismarck was one hell of a Battleship. He was surrounded and had a damaged rudder. The British Navy with Battleships King George the 5th, Rodney and the Heavy Cruisers Norfolk and Dorsetshire, Maule the Bismarck for two hours scoring over 400 hits. Finally after the Germans set off scuttling charges He rolled over and sank. I served in the Army, 2nd armored Div. We had the M1 Abrams tank. We admired many tanks from history. Like the British Churchill and the German Panther and Tiger tanks. it didn't mean we agreed with the Nazi's.
Sabaton is history metal! Check out the animated video for "no Bullets fly" the video gives amazing background to what Sabaton are singing about. Also it hits me in the feels every time.
Love Sabaton! They combine two of my interests (history and music) to get something awesome. You should definitely check out their song "Christmas Truce."
Christmas Truce next please....Floor sings the Outro. Sabaton has it's own history channel. Have you seen the Nightwish movie?. It stars the band Anette era it's called Imaginaerum 2012 Film.
If you want a new rabbit hole you should try The Hu, a Mongolian metal band who play traditional instruments and throat-sing. Their mega-reviewed video is Wolf Totem but any of their others are awesome.
Welcome to Sabaton. They tell stories, no matter when nor which side. So we dont forget our past! Cheers from Germany, we are a Navy and Army Familie. During WWII my Grandpa was drafted to serve the Kriegsmarine, he was one of the boys at this time deployed in occupied France on the smaller vessels to give escort to Bismarck and other ships, which never happened...send out to dying for nothing
For me, as a german, the Bismarck and all that stuff, it is a really difficult topic. And every band has to be deeply checked for any kind of sympathie for the "old germany". Many germans, me included, are born with this kind of curse from the past. At the beginning of my Sabaton journey, i really struggeled with this kind of war music, and still, i avoid a few songs, like Panzerkampf and Wolfpack, but there are also many songs i never get tired from, like christmas truce, race to the sea, price of a mile, 1916, no bullets fly, dreadnought, the royal guard, devil dogs,... love them all. To hell and back is a special song, because i suffered from PTSD. Great reaction. And Sabaton is a rabbit hole!
Yeah check out a couple of Sabaton videos, you will not be disappointed, they're telling history in such a great way as well. You already got the good recommendations
Genre is Powe Metal, but there is also influences about other genres. you surely hear symphonic Metal influences too. Maybe next live Sabaton example: Ghost Division(live Oberhausen, 2020 or 2012 Poland Woodstock Festival- This song is usually their opening song in live set. Sabaton and Nightwish has toured america together(Sabaton was supporter) few year ago. Now tour together is little harder because both are headline level band.
That guy you said he was shubby .... that's Tommy Johansson. You should check him up. One hell of a singer and guitarist. He has a band Majesty and you should check them up too. The drummer is amazing in that band. Well Hannes (Married to Floor Jansen) are not a bad drummer :)
If you want to go on another side track, check out Tommy Johannson's channel. He is the "young" guitarist you mention in this video. He recently left Sabaton on good terms to pursue his own path. His vocal range is insane. I suggest giving You Raise me Up (one octave challenge) a listen as well as Alone by Tommy. It is so good

I especially love the Winged Hussars and Carolinus Rex but perhaps it would be best to choose some of their American Glorification type songs, like "Devil Dogs", "To Hell and Back" and Purple Heart . 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
The last stand, caroleans prayer and the royal guard should be up your alley. The last stand is about the papal swiss guard, caroleans prayer is about the Swedish army in the late 1600s early 1700 and the royal guard is about the Swedish royal guard
the video was made by wargaming (world of warships/world of tanks)... The coordinates are secret. Very few people know where the Bismark sank. They want to prevent the wreck from becoming a place of pilgrimage
I call Sabaton the Metal History band. Most of there songs are accurate stories of historical events. They even have a Sabaton History channel on RUclips.
The coordinates on the compass at the beginning are the actual coordinates for the Bismarck's location. Lying almost a mile under the surface, no real point in worrying about scavengers going for the wreck. As many other have pointed out, Sabaton sing about military history. No glorification of war, no painting opinion, just telling what happened in a badass way.
Several "musts" of Sabaton (always a choice!): Christmas Truce, Night Witches, No Bullets Fly, En Livstid I Krig live in Gothenburg, 1916....always neutral historical presentation with the caveat that they inevitably take the soldiers pov...videos cinematic works of movie quality every time
The (made up) flag on top of the ship is the Nazi German flag with the swastika replaced with an iron cross. Both the correct flag (the war flag) and the Nazi German flag with the swastika are illegal to show in many countries (including in Germany).

Funny that you liked Sabaton and now you are going to know more about Sabaton and they are probably almost completely different from other artists and bands, except that all the music is about real war stories through the centuries. Sabaton doesn't have a music manager, instead they run everything themselves. Sabaton is run as a company with 100 people they have employed. They do all gigs, booking arenas/venues, booking hotel rooms and plane tickets themselves. They also manage the sales of souvenirs and records themselves. Sabaton owns 8 trucks themselves that will transport all the instruments, the things they will have on stage. Because the drummer sits on the turret of a tank and the cannon barrel remains, and then the scene should look like a trench. as well as all gas tubes used for fire shows. all souvenirs and records they will sell when they tune. In addition, own buses to transport the personnel such as stage builders, sound engineers. So thanks to Sabaton, they manage everything themselves and don't have a music manager who costs a hell of a lot of money, so the ticket price is kept down as they also manage the sale of the concert tickets themselves. So when Sabaton did the Sweden tour in 2022. the ticket only cost 46.18 pounds / 51.02 Euro, then they sold a number of tickets where the fans got to meet the band before the gig and these cost 55.25 pounds / 61.04 Euro

There are also older stuff from Swedish and European war history. And all is based on historical facts as far as there are facts.
I love Dan's Sabaton covers (The Last Stand and Smoking Snakes). I discovered Sabaton through his covers & absolutely love them...almost as much as Dan.
Sabaton also has a history channnel where the events that they sing about are discussed. Those episodes are well worth a watch as well.
It's all in English. Their host, Indy Nidell, (American/Swedish) does an excellent job here. It never gets boring!! 😉 Guaranteed.
I’ll check that out!
They do not glorify war, or causes, but they do glorify the people who endure wars evil hardships regardless of what flag they fight under.
Interesting
That's extremely well put.
"En livstid i krig"!!!! Swedish liveversion from Gothenburg
One obvious Sabaton video to watch is the official animated story video of "No Bullets Fly".
Link: ruclips.net/video/dslO-3GgenY/видео.html
Agree. Also Christmas Truce
The captain of the Bismarck was apparently quite the old school type and wasn’t a fan of Hitler. He even refused to use the Nazi salute when Hitler visited the ship, choosing instead to use the traditional naval salute.
Wild
Sabaton were running out of ideas to write about, and asked the fans for suggestions. They got enough ideas to last them for years, and this stand alone single was a sort of thank you. They're sponsored by the computer games company that makes World of Tanks, and World of Warships, and they helped with this historically accurate video. Sabaton's history channel is excellent, and goes into the stories behind their songs in depth. They remain strictly neutral and don't take sides.
Interesting
Don’t forget Yarnhub. Excellent channel and collaboration on No Bullets Fly and Soldiers of Heaven
Really! I gotta suggest a song about Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
The true story of THE CHRISTMAS TRUCE 1914. React to the official music video to their song Christmas truce. It´s amazing. And listen to the whole song, even through the credits. An Easter egg is planted there.
Their cover to Motörheads song 1916 is also amazing.
Will do
Also i'm glad you looked at this song. it's one of their greatest. both in vocal an musical performance. (Tommy really shines)
Added!
Thanks!
(by Nightwish fan since 1998)
Thank you too!
Yes!! Check out Tommys songs...
Yes, GO TEAM TOMMY !!
I recommend the Swedish version of Oh holy night, O helga natt.
Thanks!
Legend has it that in the very beginning when the band is going up the stairs, you briefly see a pair of legs swinging.
Legend has it they belong to Floor Jansen.
Interesting
Bismarck scuttled following incapacitating battle damage, 27 May 1941 in the North Atlantic 48°10′N 16°12′W
The signifigance of the coordinates is that is where the Bismarck currently lies on the ocean bottom.
Great reaction 😃👍 I love that they even had pyro on the boat 😅 As a Swede I'm happy that you found Sabaton and liked it 😃 There are so much to discover so knock yourself out! You should take a look at Tommy's channel he has aside his skills in instruments a fantastic set of pipes 😊
See you on the next one 🤘
I love Sabaton. They even have a history channel of their songs. The battle of the atlantic.
Will do!
Very interesting.
@@teckreactions En Listvid I Krig is a great song to demonstrate this, though you’d need to turn on subtitles to see its English translation. Still worth it to hear a good song and see an awesome crowd singalong.
I like how the drummer is pointing on of his sticks towards "Bismark" and then they change to the shell hitting the bridge.
The Swedish Navy discovered that Bismarck had set out to sea and headed for the Atlantic. They notifired the British navy through inofficial channels. Bismarkc sunk the British battle crusier Hood and the Royal Navy begun the hunt.
One of our neighbors who died years ago was a survivor of the Bismarck he was pretty miserable the rest of his days. Poor soul.😢
Wow
A 2019 stand alone single , the video was made in conjunction with Wargaming, the company
that makes the 'World of Warships' game, that's why the graphics are so good.
Since you love history, check out their history channel here on yt, they go into detail on the story behind the music. At least 1 episode for every song.
Awesome
Sabaton has some of the most impressive drumming I have ever heard 😮
Such a bop. Music video is one of the most impressive I've ever seen tbh. Wargaming & co. did such a good job.
You should watch Christmas Truce. It‘s one of the most important music videos ever made. And don‘t make the mistake of cutting off the end credits…
Will do
I must recommend the 1960 movie "Sink the Bismarck". I believe it free here on YT. It was one of my inspirations to enlist in the US Navy in 1984.
Thank you for your service!
sabaton has their own history channel with storys bout their songs but one of my favs is Sabaton lady of the dark animated story video
Hi! Sabaton is amazing. They have a lot of songs wirh amazing stories.. i suggest to take a look to "Christmas truce"; "no bullets fly (animated story); "the night witches" (animated story); "lady of the dark" (animated story); "1916" (cover of motorhead); "in livstid i krig" (live).. etc etc... The animated stories have a lot of history and context to song, the story and the lyrics.
and remember to look at the longer animated storys, not just the songs
Awesome
Thank you for listening!
The Christmas Truce is the essence of their work!
Will do!
Yay finally 😋 .History, tears and guitars.....I'm here for it ❤
The Bismarck was the Flagship of the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) in early WW2 until it was stopped and eventually sunk. Sabaton's discography is very much "war is terrible, and can make people do terrible and terrific things"
They were freezing as f*ck at that boat
The energy of the boys of
SABATON, brings the
HISTORY to life .... INCREDIBLE!
The Video and the performance and music are AMAZING💪🏼💪🏼

hello nwa cali here , enjoy history with Sabaton. if you do Christmas Truce Floor sings the outro
Check out Erik Grönwall and Tommy Johansson cover Sabatons Carolus Rex!
2 amazing swedish guys!
I suggest reacting to their song "Fields of Verdun" about longest battle in history... Trench warfare of attrition that took a year.
That’s cool
Welcome to the Sabaton Army my metal sibling, safe travels and enjoy the journey. 🤘
Thanks
Must watches for every reactor includes The Christmas Truce, No Bullets Fly animated story video, and The Last Stand.
Besides all the suggestions posted here, I would also recommend the animated story video for "No Bullets Fly." It's based on a true story.
The best music video what I ever seen...❤
great choice to start.. try more, please
Greetings from NW-Army-Germany and SabatonFan 😉
Thank you! Will do!
All of Sabaton's music is history related, especially military events during the course of history.
Sabaton is the best band around. They sing about factual happenings. 😊
Sabaton Songs you should react to:
Christmas Truce
No Bullets Fly
To Hell and Back
The Last Stand
Night Witches
Father
The Unkillable Soldier (Unbelievable that Sir Adrian Carton De Wiart survived all those Wounds)
The First two song will guaranteed restore Faith in Humanity.
On it!
Great reaction to my favourite band!🤘 Check out "Screaming Eagles" (official music video) and also their Sabaton History Channel episode for that song. Also their animated music video for "No bullets fly". (Tissues needed...)
Greetings from Sweden!🇸🇪
Edit: Btw, you might have a new "army" marching in... 😁
Sweet!
I love that
This video was made in conjuction with Wargaming, the creator of (amongst others) World of Tanks and World of Warships. They do the CG for this music video.
Cool!
Battle of the Atlantic.
The longest battle of World War 2 !
I didn’t know that.
Thanks
🧡💙
Thanks for the info!
Super cool
Sabaton is history metal! Check out the animated video for "no Bullets fly" the video gives amazing background to what Sabaton are singing about. Also it hits me in the feels every time.
Animated story video not animated video
Cool
Love Sabaton! They combine two of my interests (history and music) to get something awesome. You should definitely check out their song "Christmas Truce."
Looking forward to it.
Christmas Truce next please....Floor sings the Outro. Sabaton has it's own history channel. Have you seen the Nightwish movie?. It stars the band Anette era it's called Imaginaerum 2012 Film.

Given your shirt and where you play drums, you'll definitely appreciate "The Last Stand".

Sabaton songs are all military history, and they have a youtube channel "sabaton history" where the backgrounds of the songs are explained.
That’s awesome
I think it would be fun for you as a drummer to listen to Sabaton's song The Red Baron
If you want a new rabbit hole you should try The Hu, a Mongolian metal band who play traditional instruments and throat-sing. Their mega-reviewed video is Wolf Totem but any of their others are awesome.
Cool!
Welcome to Sabaton. They tell stories, no matter when nor which side. So we dont forget our past!
Cheers from Germany, we are a Navy and Army Familie. During WWII my Grandpa was drafted to serve the Kriegsmarine, he was one of the boys at this time deployed in occupied France on the smaller vessels to give escort to Bismarck and other ships, which never happened...send out to dying for nothing
if ya bring some tissues ya can watch Sabaton no bullets fly the animated story video
And Sabaton is a rabbit hole!
you arent born with this curse you are indoctrinated into it ....
Cool

I said that in the video.

It is so good
Sabaton is one of the greatest Metal Bands of all time.
🤘❤️🔥🤘
I love so many of their songs, it is hard to choose suggestions.
"The battle of the Atlantic" it reads
the video was made by wargaming (world of warships/world of tanks)... The coordinates are secret. Very few people know where the Bismark sank. They want to prevent the wreck from becoming a place of pilgrimage
I call Sabaton the Metal History band. Most of there songs are accurate stories of historical events. They even have a Sabaton History channel on RUclips.
I like that
The coordinates on the compass at the beginning are the actual coordinates for the Bismarck's location. Lying almost a mile under the surface, no real point in worrying about scavengers going for the wreck.
As many other have pointed out, Sabaton sing about military history. No glorification of war, no painting opinion, just telling what happened in a badass way.
Several "musts" of Sabaton (always a choice!): Christmas Truce, Night Witches, No Bullets Fly, En Livstid I Krig live in Gothenburg, 1916....always neutral historical presentation with the caveat that they inevitably take the soldiers pov...videos cinematic works of movie quality every time
React to No Bullets Fly Animated version
The (made up) flag on top of the ship is the Nazi German flag with the swastika replaced with an iron cross. Both the correct flag (the war flag) and the Nazi German flag with the swastika are illegal to show in many countries (including in Germany).

Battle of the Atlantic
Got it
Funny that you liked Sabaton and now you are going to know more about Sabaton and they are probably almost completely different from other artists and bands, except that all the music is about real war stories through the centuries.
The Battle of the Atlantic.
Ahhhh
