I agree about the camping nonsense, Panda. After so many poor games against a camping killer, I've been pushed away so much from playing Survivor. It doesn't help that there's a lot of the community that will take up arms and lay down their life in protecting "camping" like it were their creed. I mean, you can find some of those people in this very comment section.
Trystan Zephyr Same. I just stopped playing for a while because I was tired of getting camped and tunneled. If you use perks and add ons that give you extra chances your toxic but if killers camp and tunnel you it's a legit strategy. This community is full of weakness

i usually don't camp but i can justify it in certain scenarios : if a survivors pisses me off by flashlight flickering or teabagging, he of she does this to annoy me into chasing him or her they are essentially trying to ruin my game. And if they do so i see no problem in ruining theirs by camping their toxic ass.
I believe that trying to fight fire with fire is what burns down the world. Yeah I agree that those survivors are toxic. But there are so many toxic players in general in the game of Dead By Daylight, both killers and survivors. When a killer face camps, camps, or tunnels it's so frustrating to those teammates that weren't toxic. It's like having a dc in the game. 4 survivors have to work together to complete tasks that lead to the end game which will result in them surviving. When a killer face camps or camps and downs the rescuer then that's 2 people down because the killer refused to leave and give them a chance. The only time I teabag is after I get unhooked and healed by my team and to say hi to my team. Again I agree that those types of survivors are toxic but why essentially ruin everyone else's game when it's just one survivor

The way I see it, the ranking system is incredibly broken in the way that if you’re solo, altruistic, and doing gens with no one to get the killer to tunnel them, it’s very hard to pip, however if you’re swf or the killer doesn’t chase you, pipping is a joke. Rank really doesn’t show skill anymore.
I’m trying the same challenge with you panda. I’m rank 4 now. I’ve slowly grown to enjoy survivor but I’d probably would still be grinding as a killer without your videos. This is what I imagine joining a weight loss group is like. I watch you improving your survivor rank and it helps me stay focused. God help me, I really wanna go back to my killer lifestyle though.
Same I honestly don't know why people camp. First of all you wouldn't be getting as many blood points as when you are chasing survivors. Secondly it's not even fun you are literally standing still for a good minute. And lastly It's ruining the experience for everyone
Happened to me with a Hillbilly. Said he camped me because I camped a pallet which was untrue because he found me 10 seconds into the start of the match. There's no such thing as camping a pallet.
Being facecamped by a Freddy in the basement was hilarious. To be honest idk why but he thought I was toxic but it was the legacy randos life is strange.
Heads up panda! Friday the 13th will be free for PS4 players next month so if you feel like experimenting a lot of people will be playing it that hopped on the Dbd wagon after it was free and that's how I found you to begin with.
From what I can tell people love it the same as dead by daylight I'm sure they're making it free to get numbers back and I'm sure some super cool Jason will come out this month n they want people to buy it but from all the gameplay I've seen I think it's worth my time
Yeah the servers were lagging bad today for some reason I hit people multiple times it even showed the hit animation but it did not do anything to them.
When BBQ&Chilli does not activate, it's fair to assume that all survivors are close enough to be hidden. When the game "tells you" that all survivors are close, looking around you to find them does not qualify as camping to me. "staying close to the hook" isn't always camping. The difference is between trying to find other survivors and blocking the hook from them reaching it. One is camping, the other is hunting for survivors where you think they are.
Honestly, the moment the game seems to not be going well, people dc or let themselves die. Two people downed? Or maybe two people are on a hook? Obviously, there's no coming back from that, and they just leave. Like really?! I've recovered from those situations and escaped plenty of times! Super annoying.
Hybridpanda not realizing that Freddie's slowdown affects opening gates. Then of course thinking that its remember me when the icon didn't even pull up and even before then thinking that its Thanataphobia was like watching a guy manage to miss every step on his way down the stairs then blaming it on a painting. Even better was that the killers perks were never brought up at the end. Implying a mistake made in editing, HybridPanda noticing the mistake in recording but cutting it out, that he just didn't even notice the perks, or that he saw the mistake he made in editing and removed it for his image. The best metaphor I can use is there was a second set of stairs, but we don't talk about them anymore. Opening an exit gate takes 20 seconds and in dreamstate takes about 40 seconds. (50% reduction in opening speed) HybridPanda's opening took 43 ish seconds. 25:00-25:44. A single remember me stack gives 5 seconds, 10 in dreamstate. It wasn't even close.

Thats unsportsmanlike conduct for sure. 19:30 I hate people that struggle for any reason other than its their only choice (without perks) and people who let them die, even though if the game is already thrown (2 quitters for example) I'll do the same I admit.
i looped a freddy for 8 minutes on the same loop and never used the pallet either and just let him kill me while i stood at the gate because i felt bad

I think even if you are hooked and your utterly screwed you owe it to your teammates to struggle all the way. Letting yourself die is just really lame.

They should make the hook completely stop sacrifice process when killers within a certain distance. This would get rid of that toxic playstyle, until then I will gladly DC when I get face camped at the end of my hook.
I wouldn't solve it with time, but rather with points. A camped kill should give you fewer points than one where you weren't around at all. Could easily be done with the terror radius. Basically, anytime a hooked survivor is in your terror radius, you get points deducted.
Could be a sign for freddy just being too easy and people who play freddy as their main, having chosen him because of that. Does not necessarily have to be like that, but it's an explanation that probably holds up more often than it doesn't.

LOL say what you want panda, not sure if you're talking about specifically face-camping, but if not, I am happily that guy justifying my playstyle. Nearly every time I get someone in the basement I get at least a 3kill. Survivors are so altruistic it's great, the salt is just the cherry on top. It works the best when a greedy survivor thinks they can get an item out of my basement, basically giving me a free hook and bait right at the start of the game. :) For you salty survivors, don't worry I don't play every game like that (I have like 3 huntress builds I enjoy now, and like 1.5 nurse builds) and am still in lower ranks as I don't get to play often (4 games since reset I believe) so I have no clue where I should actually be ranked. I told myself I'd stop playing that way when it got boring, or I managed to go 10 games in a row without encountering Dstrike with the logic of if I can not be bothered or infuriated by playing against a perk many consider to be BS, survivors can tolerate a playstyle many consider BS... So far my record is 3 without DStrike in a row and I've yet to feel even slightly bored of the style! :^) As for why, the playstyle was developed out of necessity as my first 2 perks I found to be useful were deerstalker (actually the first one I ever got) then Territorial, I didn't really get any other perks that interested me (or find out how to utilize the ones I had) until much later on. Territorial allows me to apply a very large amount of pressure I find, so long as I "stay on my leash" as I've termed it, I can be chasing 1 survivor, have another on a hook, and give myself quite a good chance of downing a 3rd survivor who goes for the rescue. This leaves just 1 survivor working on gens, and that's assuming the one I'm chasing doesn't run to them. Normally I can get back to the basement in time to see them leaving (straight into a chase) if not trapping them in the basement which I find huntress is quite proficient at. Perks like DStrike, Sprint burst, incideous, territorial are in the game for a reason and there is BS on both sides, just accept it and move on. I'm not bothered by DStrike anymore since I've learned how to work around it (

This leaves just 1 survivor working on gens, and that's assuming the one I'm chasing doesn't run to them. Normally I can get back to the basement in time to see them leaving (straight into a chase) if not trapping them in the basement which I find huntress is quite proficient at.
Perks like DStrike, Sprint burst, incideous, territorial are in the game for a reason and there is BS on both sides, just accept it and move on. I'm not bothered by DStrike anymore since I've learned how to work around it (
