My 19yo daughter passed away last year. This song means so much to me. Hearing it the first time about 6 months after she died made me CRY and CRY but helped me gather some strength to "keep going".

I’m 72 and love them to pieces...hahaha
My partner off 18 years died suddenly of a heart attack 6 months ago, he was only 51 and my life imploded, for many months I have been silently screaming but more recently been able to start learning to carry it with me and live again, this track helps to give me strength, it's been on my Playlist for a long time but taken on a fiercer significance since thee loss of the man that I adored!

Beautiful song. Floridian who’s Mama died on Valentine’s in part due to gun violence , and now the shooting. The victims were taken to the hospitalwhere I used to work. I will continue to call and email my representatives and try to affect change. My love and heartfelt empathy to all affected by gun violence.
One of my husband’s employee’s (of 20 years) son was a victim of indiscriminate gun violence last night. Daddy showed up to work at 5 am so he wouldn’t be hunting down his son’s murderer.
My cousin discovered her husband dead by shotgun to the head. One of my youth group friends shot another youth group friend showing off their daddy’s gun.
The Parkland kids are beginning to deal with their trauma. I’m still trying to deal with the effects of gun violence that has touched my life for the last 40 years.
I love this song, especially the “Because I’m never going to lose you, I got you deep inside my chest, and I can feel you beating like the soul of the drummer boy” and “every day I’m walking out the front door leaning on your ghost”.
Personally I like this more than a music video. I like watching the musicians jam together.
The pianist can play and blow the trumpet at the same time. I can't even listen to this song and breathe.
The keyboardists ability to play the trumpet while still playing different piano cords with his other hand is astounding!

YES!!! Great music and songwriting is not dead because bands like The Revivalists exist.
These guys were literally born to be musicians. So many artists wish they had half this ability.
Had never heard of these guys then my daughter called me with tickets for a Toronto show. I was blown away. Saw people there from 15 to 65 yrs old and they were loving it. Great show. And alot of their lyrics are very deep like poetry. Now l can't get enough of them. Just when I was giving up on music bang l hear this now l can't get enough

My teenage son turned me on to these guys. Now I downloaded every one of their songs I can find! They are truly outstanding! They're like a cross between rock, pop and blues. Incredible!
These guys got trumpet, sax, keyboard, gutaire, and incredible lyrics sung by a guy with a ton of soul in his voice. I absolutely love it
Saw them at The Stone Pony last night (in Asbury Park, New Jersey for those of you who don't know the rock history) and they we're mind-blowing amazing!!! If you have the chance to see them live - take it! If you don't you'll regret it. My husband and I drove an hour and a half, each way, to see them. (and after all...it was The Stone Pony) and I have NEVER driven that far to see a band before - especially one that I was only introduced to merely 2 weeks ago...they are worth it!! They leave it ALL on stage.
I love the Truth to stand up for what you believe in this song! This generation truly needs leaders like you in this lost world! This song came to me as I was suffering from another of life's battle's. Before I knew it I was dancing and shaking that crap off...thank you for as my life motto has been "Keep On Keeping On". I have been loving your music and it's helped my soul so much! Keep on making this awesome music, and I'm now in love with horns in a band!!! This is the most incredible song I’ve ever heard, a friend of mine lost her sister several months ago and I just started listening and getting into The Revivalists and told her to listen to this song before I really examined the lyrics and what this song was really about. The next day she revealed to me with so much gratitude of how much she really needed to hear this song. After re-listening to it, I told her it must of been God sent and I was grateful that it helped because we all continue the need to Keep Going through this experience.
