JJC, great invention! I wish I had discovered this a long time ago, since my Ricoh’s (GR III) sensor is pretty dusty... but I am wondering if the dust does not get in anyways along the sides of the elements that extend and retract by switching the camera on and off?
Yes, I used one of the super slim stick on filters, but when i came to remove it it took off part of the curtain with it! be warned. they do supply a removal wire to take it off, a little like a cheese cutter.
My jjc filter just got a tiny fungus on the back side, it can be cleaned with replace the filter. I want to do it but I have read some people experience that said it's hard when replacing the filter. The thing that I concern is if I replace the filter, clean the fungus, and stick it again on the lens, the fungus will appear again and I must do the same thing again
Dear, thanks for your message. The GW4 wide-angle lens can only be used through the GA-1 adapter ring and is limited to GR 3. The GA-1 locked to the base of the entire lens instead of attaching to the lens. Our filters are attached to the surface of the lens and theoretically will not affect your use of adapter rings and wide-angle lenses. We haven't tested it yet, so we don't recommend using it together.
JJC Photography I own both your filter and gw4. It works but you can’t use macro mode because the lens can’t go on and the Ricoh give you an error message
Hello folks, I am thinking of adding the NiSi filter kit and wonder if the JJC UV filter I attached might affect the quality or performance of the NiSI filters - especially the PL. Thanks.
Hi, Martin. Thanks for your message. Don't worry, JJC F-WMCUVG3 filter will not affect the quality or performance of your NiSI filters. If you need remove this filter, it can be easily removed and will leave nothing on it.
HI, Thanks for your message. In fact, anything add front on the lens will change the image quality. The light transmission of JJC F-WMCUVG3 is up to 99.5% or above. The impact on image quality is extremely low and basically impossible to perceive. Here are the link you can buy: www.aliexpress.com/item/4000055630541.html?spm=2114.12010615.8148356.1.78407e02jZGuoo
I tried to remove the filter carefully but ended up destroying the outer shield in front of the lens. I do not recommend using this filter. If you choose to use it, never remove it.

You cant prevent dust entering the sensor with filters unfortunately.

I wish the brand name is not so prominent. It ruins the camera minimalistic look.
Hello. With this filter on, can we still put on the Ricoh wide lens GW4 directly ?

Ne se dévisse plus une fois vissé. Attention, c'est peut être les moins cher... Et la pince achetée pour dévisser le filtre ne marchait pas pour moi.
Why do we need to wait 12 hours?
Hi, thanks for your message. The material for inner lens cap is foam, we put on it on the lens for 12 hours is aim to help lens cap fix well.
How do I remove it?
My best advice is don't. I tried and have ripped the whole front element of the lens off
@@simonanger8633 It comes with a kit to remove the filtre.
You dont

JJC Photography thanks for the help. If it does have to be removed what's the best way?
Hi, Martin. It is 3M adhesive and sticky, if you want to remove, just tear it off.
JJC Photography Thank you - still on!
Does it fit the GR I?
Dear, thanks for your message. This item can't fit the GR I.
