Athletics can teach kids about teamwork, discipline, winning/losing gracefully, sportsmanship, following rules & authority, mentorship, goal attainment, health & exercise, etc., etc., etc. I see very little parallels.

I tend to disagree and think it should be treated at the age of consent, which is typically 18. That being said, I think it's an incredibly small percentage of the population, about the same percentage as those who would want their limbs removed wjo actuallyhave body dysmorphia. It's basically become a social epidemic, trans is the new cutting; When I was growing up it was normal to see kids who cut themselves, me included but it was nowhere close to the level at which those with an actual disorder did it to, the ones who would actually land up in hospital. I think most of the kids who transition are the same as the ones who cut because it was a socially acceptable, in some ways it was even cool. It's just incredibly sad because my generations scars have healed or been tattooed over.. transitioning at a young age is irreversible.

I have a family member who was confused and I told them to get help and get a therapist, I was absolutely attacked and made into a enemy. Mind you I grew up with dance, house music, and “around” aspects of the gay community and wasn’t close minded. He had some traumatic issues and abuse. I was not allowed 🚫to help him with anything. The idea he should get mental help made me into the enemy. All I wanted for him was to make sure the choices he was making in life wasn’t gonna affect him for the rest of his life and keep him from having a normal family or life. To make matters worse he locked him self in the basement for weeks and have a mental break down being “confused” and all of a sudden he is the “special kid and holy” and if we talk about or or bring it up it’s like I’m some evil person and I’m the most opened minded and cultured person in this family with the most colored life and experiences. I could never understand why they did this to me or they do or act like this. The make it worse I’m not allowed to say “gay” either or even talk about him. They are viscous and I don’t know what to do anymore. I have to pretend like nothing happens and they are like proud/ happy he’s special. It’s fucken insanity and so abusive. He has tons of abuse, family problems and yes was taken advantage by a predatory kid his age. I feel like he was confused and hurt that needed help. Exactly what he is saying in this video. The story was the same as this video. He wasn’t “trans” and this kid who started to sexually abuse him made it strange and I feel like he was damaged and yes he was very intelligent/ smart along with not having a lot of friends and his father was a raging foaming at the mouth tyrant pyscho path. You could say he was a victim of all of this. It also describes how he was exactly and the father broke him. He wasn’t “trans” but the gayness was celebrated. If I talk about any of this they attack me. If I bring up if he might have issues from trauma and abuse they scream at me “ nothing is wrong with him and how evil I am” but I was like maybe he’s confused. The only question that needs to be answered is one: "Why has the United States government/court system made this version of child abuse legal?" Once that question is honestly addressed and answered then things will start to improve. By the way, the answer is very simple.
It is way, way worse than that. I live in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, and I am watching several mothers deliberately, confuse, betray, and distract their male children, by forcing a genderless identity on them and punishing them if they do not comply with their dresses, long girly hair, and attempts at getting to refer to themselves as the opposite gender or other ridiculous identity. These parents, particularly the women, are getting even with the men in their lives, (90% of them come from single parent households where the father left the marriage) and relish destroying the male identities and lives of their sons with glee. The hatred towards all things male is palpable. And already in my area, over the past 25 years, several of these male kids have turned out horribly, and more than a few have attacked, and some killed their mothers here, (Look it up) in revenge for their mother's wildly toxic, and torturous upbringing. Parents who do this should be jailed and the kids put in homes where at least there is neutrality for the child to decide for themselves what they are as they grow, rather than this forced gender removal, and bloody sacrifice of little children at the altar of their parent's sick and diseased ideologies. If they decide on their own, great! we can all accept their well-informed decision. This attack on male children, only ever happens with single mothers forcing it on their male children in revenge for their fathers or ex-husbands, who they love tormenting with it. And the so-called feminists and gender activists of the Oakland and Berkeley area in particular, actively and openly supported hatred of men and male children. This is hatred of men, period. And to take it out on innocent kids in the future should be a criminal offense.

Bad parenting has been a thing for as long as I've been alive. A lot of parents enjoy the idea of deferring the care of their children to someone else. It's a laziness thing, I think it's also easier for atheists to seek out a GOD replacement via some authority figures. Example: This person I admire says that we should allow our children to pick their genders, the lazy parent will say, "sign me up" to avoid introspection. If you ask some teachers who CARE about their students, most if not all, will tell you there are a lot of BAD parents in the world. Despite what you might think, not all BAD parents are living in poverty, there are bad parents with high-paying jobs and a lot of money in the bank account. This is one of the beauties of a market economy, prior to teachers' unions taking over the education system, you'd have larger marketplace ideas in the private and PUBLIC education systems, that would actually address these LAZY parents. You have a lot of parents who like these teachers' unions, because it gives them as parents an excuse as to why their children are doing horribly in school and in life. It's all relative in the end; I'm actually not against these progressive demons trying to destroy their children, what I'm against is that parents don't have options or alternatives, which doesn't allow us as a society to say, "This educational initiative was a bad idea based on the results" Last time I checked, America still is a litigious society, and if people want to experiment on children or have their children experimented on, there should be a LEGAL recourse, which in my opinion, would get this demonic evil under control. You don't solve problems by saying, "You can't do that, or we should censor this" You solve problems by comparisons and unbiased data. The spirit of liberty and freedom exposes everything, even becoming a Christian is supposed to be a VOLUNTARY action. It's healthy for young people who even come from Christian homes to experiment with atheism, why? Because they can find out for themselves why many of us choose Jesus Christ as our Savior, I don't want to force someone to accept Christ, when you abandon Judeo-Christian values, you'll be approached by people with their own agenda, and that's life. Even if you imagine Christianity as a cult, if you abandon it and you don't have a strong mind, you're opening yourself up to SECULAR beliefs, and secular or popular beliefs change like the wind. As a 80s/90s k1d our version of this was the Christian religion. I had friends with parents who forced them to go to church. It has its problems but I think it was a healthier release for this human need to believe in something.

There have always been people who use their kids for popularity and to boost their own social status. I'm 50 and when I was in High School in late 80s-early 90s in NW Houston, I started noticing the teen pregnancy phenomenon growing. These girls celebrated having a little live doll to dress up and show off. They got attention for being pregnant. Then MTV did a show about it and where is teen pregnancy in America now? This is just the latest thing to get attention. And in a society that has 'done it all' unfortunately things have to keep getting more and more outrageous for people to take notice. The parents are sick, but I think if you dig deeper you see similar characteristics in the parents who promote their trans kids also. My heart breaks for these poor kids. I think in 10 years we are going to see 50-60% suicide rates 😢 and their parents will still be delusional.

I have four sets of twins. I didn't dress them alike, just because I didn't care about any of that, not to make any statement. I was exhausted. They were just lucky to have a clean outfit. But, when I would see people with twins and they were dressed identically, I knew that was for the parent. The kids don't know or care, but the parents want the attention, the pat on the back, etc. I know this is way down the ladder compared to the trans thing, but it still reminded me of the same type of behavior.
I think the best advice/wisdom I recently heard was: these parents are just parenting with their 10 year old selves that have their own trauma. Just because you affirm and be a “different” parent doesn’t mean you yourself as a parent are healed. Stop projecting onto your kids and just love them for being themselves, but also be a freakin parent! If you straight up tell your kids, “yeah you’re right something is wrong with you” you know how damaging just that is to a child?!

Im conflicted. I recently met someone romantically who has a transgender son. I’m conflicted that the transition happened before an adult age. If it happened at an adult age this would not be an issue. I’m wondering if we may have moral disagreements near or far in the future.
I sounds like this kid is describing my ex wife. She was forcing antipsychotic meds on both kids and even holding them down at times, she even put our oldest in a psych ward the week before he was supposed to testify on the things she had done. It's basically become a social epidemic, trans is the new cutting; When I was growing up it was normal to see kids who cut themselves, me included but it was nowhere close to the level at which those with an actual disorder did it to, the ones who would actually land up in hospital.
I think most of the kids who transition are the same as the ones who cut because it was a socially acceptable, in some ways it was even cool. It's just incredibly sad because my generations scars have healed or been tattooed over.. transitioning at a young age is irreversible.

I have a family member who was confused and I told them to get help and get a therapist, I was absolutely attacked and made into a enemy. Mind you I grew up with dance, house music, and “around” aspects of the gay community and wasn’t close minded. He had some traumatic issues and abuse. I was not allowed 🚫to help him with anything. The idea he should get mental help made me into the enemy. All I wanted for him was to make sure the choices he was making in life wasn’t gonna affect him for the rest of his life and keep him from having a normal family or life. To make matters worse he locked him self in the basement for weeks and have a mental break down being “confused” and all of a sudden he is the “special kid and holy” and if we talk about or or bring it up it’s like I’m some evil person and I’m the most opened minded and cultured person in this family with the most colored life and experiences. I could never understand why they did this to me or they do or act like this. The make it worse I’m not allowed to say “gay” either or even talk about him. They are viscous and I don’t know what to do anymore. I have to pretend like nothing happens and they are like proud/ happy he’s special. It’s fucken insanity and so abusive. He has tons of abuse, family problems and yes was taken advantage by a predatory kid his age. I feel like he was confused and hurt that needed help. Exactly what he is saying in this video. The story was the same as this video. He wasn’t “trans” and this kid who started to sexually abuse him made it strange and I feel like he was damaged and yes he was very intelligent/ smart along with not having a lot of friends and his father was a raging foaming at the mouth tyrant pyscho path. You could say he was a victim of all of this. It also describes how he was exactly and the father broke him. He wasn’t “trans” but the gayness was celebrated. If I talk about any of this they attack me. If I bring up if he might have issues from trauma and abuse they scream at me “ nothing is wrong with him and how evil I am” but I was like maybe he’s confused. I do feel like he became special and holy. It’s like questioning a Tyrant or a kingdom and I’m a peasant now.

I met a lot of transgender people, most there business to be private and not out in public. Talking about sexuality or sexual preference should be done in private and not in public. I live in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, and I am watching several mothers deliberately, confuse, betray, and distract their male children, by forcing a genderless identity on them and punishing them if they do not comply with their dresses, long girly hair, and attempts at getting to refer to themselves as the opposite gender or other ridiculous identity.
These parents, particularly the women, are getting even with the men in their lives, (90% of them come from single parent households where the father left the marriage) and relish destroying the male identities and lives of their sons with glee.
The hatred towards all things male is palpable. And already in my area, over the past 25 years, several of these male kids have turned out horribly, and more than a few have attacked, and some killed their mothers here, (Look it up) in revenge for their mother's wildly toxic, and torturous upbringing.
Parents who do this should be jailed and the kids put in homes where at least there is neutrality for the child to decide for themselves what they are as they grow, rather than this forced gender removal, and bloody sacrifice of little children at the altar of their parent's sick and diseased ideologies. If they decide on their own, great! we can all accept their well-informed decision.
This attack on male children, only ever happens with single mothers forcing it on their male children in revenge for their fathers or ex-husbands, who they love tormenting with it. And the so-called feminists and gender activists of the Oakland and Berkeley area in particular, actively and openly supported hatred of men and male children.
This is hatred of men, period. And to take it out on innocent kids in the future should be a criminal offense.

I married a narcissistic man exactly like this guest's father: wanting a "special" child for the virtue clout, forcibly vaxxing our children, wearing a mask 3 years later. He is literally sure that our 12 year old is gay because he likes to cook. He left me for a woman with a trans daughter and he loves that girl - I refuse to call her a boy - more than our own children. Unfortunately I live in Canada and the courts are 100% with him, so we share custody and though he ignores and neglects our children he would fight to the death for the right to make all the decisions, even if they are harmful, because it's all about power with him.

Bad parenting has been a thing for as long as I've been alive. A lot of parents enjoy the idea of deferring the care of their children to someone else. It's a laziness thing, I think it's also easier for atheists to seek out a GOD replacement via some authority figures.
Example: This person I admire says that we should allow our children to pick their genders, the lazy parent will say, "sign me up" to avoid introspection.
If you ask some teachers who CARE about their students, most if not all, will tell you there are a lot of BAD parents in the world. Despite what you might think, not all BAD parents are living in poverty, there are bad parents with high-paying jobs and a lot of money in the bank account.
This is one of the beauties of a market economy, prior to teachers' unions taking over the education system, you'd have larger marketplace ideas in the private and PUBLIC education systems, that would actually address these LAZY parents.

There have always been people who use their kids for popularity and to boost their own social status. I'm 50 and when I was in High School in late 80s-early 90s in NW Houston, I started noticing the teen pregnancy phenomenon growing. These girls celebrated having a little live doll to dress up and show off. They got attention for being pregnant. Then MTV did a show about it and where is teen pregnancy in America now? This is just the latest thing to get attention. And in a society that has 'done it all' unfortunately things have to keep getting more and more outrageous for people to take notice. The parents are sick, but I think if you dig deeper you see similar characteristics in the parents who promote their trans kids also. My heart breaks for these poor kids. I think in 10 years we are going to see 50-60% suicide rates 😢 and their parents will still be delusional.

I have four sets of twins. I didn't dress them alike, just because I didn't care about any of that, not to make any statement. I was exhausted. They were just lucky to have a clean outfit. But, when I would see people with twins and they were dressed identically, I knew that was for the parent. The kids don't know or care, but the parents want the attention, the pat on the back, etc. I know this is way down the ladder compared to the trans thing, but it still reminded me of the same type of behavior.

I think the best advice/wisdom I recently heard was: these parents are just parenting with their 10 year old selves that have their own trauma. Just because you affirm and be a “different” parent doesn’t mean you yourself as a parent are healed. Stop projecting onto your kids and just love them for being themselves, but also be a freakin parent! If you straight up tell your kids, “yeah you’re right something is wrong with you” you know how damaging just that is to a child?!

She was forcing antipsychotic meds on both kids and even holding them down at times, she even put our oldest in a psych ward the week before he was supposed to testify on the things she had done.
