Thank you Nick for your version of your review. So many people just skipped engines and cars just because they didn't like it. You went through all of them, regardless if you liked it or not.
pretty good catalog only items I ordered from this catalog were the N&W GP9's (both 500 and 512), both of the central of georgia steel side boxcar road numbers, the IC covered hopper (non-weathered), O gauge susquehanna boxcar, and the erie, nkp, and the C&O 2 bay aar hoppers (not any of the 3 packs just the individual numbered items like 49623 for example)
I’m glad extruded aluminum cars are making a comeback but I may not grab an engine out of this catalog but definitely grabbing those Union Pacific cars
Some shops will just give them to you. Some may charge. I believe Mr. Muffin's trains just charges shipping. If you get something else, they might charge for just that. Train world has just put them in orders in the past. Not sure if they still do.
heres a fun fact D&RGW Triplex Locomotive was a proposed Triplex steam locomotive by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and The Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive was proposed by the Baldwin Locomotive Works after they had built the very first three triplex locomotives for the Erie Railroad in 1914 and they were planning to build this locomotive for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. but unfortunately The reasons to why Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive wasn't built was because of the issues with the Erie Railroad's P-1s and the Virginian Railway's XA when they couldn't go as fast as their top speed was about 10-15 mph, with the Virginian Railway's XA reaching 3-5 mph or even as high as 10 mph. sort of like what if D&RGW built the Triplex Locomotive
I’m excited. Probably going to spend more on this catalog than any previous catalog. But I’ve been wanting Legacy Milwaukee Road. This time Lionel is giving me that. Also I asked my wife and 2 daughters? Which Barbie car do you want me to order? They all voted on a different car. So I guess I will order all 3 and make the women in my life happy. Sometimes I wonder if they planed to vote that way? 😅Always enjoy your reviews and opinions!
This catalog overloaded with O gauge scale train sets. My choice NPR set. Except for the CP ES 44 no other Canadian road engines & rolling stock cataloged. A let down for those who prefer Canadian Roads!
Honestly I lost most of my faith for lionel last year when they charged 100 dollars for a torpedo car when you can get 3 MTH slag cars for that same price. Modeling steel mills in O gauge already is difficult thank god MTH makes good stuff for the yinzers
I feel extremely bad for the Bob Ross family. Some lady tricked him. She’s got the whole company and all the merchandise. Bob Ross’s family gets nothing and it’s been that way ever since he passed away it’s so sad. Other news, mr. Rogers. Neighborhood is really cool.
Most people hate Lionel for their crappy product and overpricing. Hope they lose it all and go out of business. Rock on ATLAS &MTH. Lionel has worn out their welcome
@conductorjohnmthtrains2239 My local dealer has the brand new 2024 Lionel Legacy Detroit Edison switcher for $440 🤷♂️ I like all brands of locomotoves, and I will admit A LOT of the new Lionel stuff is junk right out of the box, but I have plenty of issues with MTH stuff, and they don't seem any cheaper than Lionel 🤷♂️
@@dexter131 I don't buy mth anymore, only ATLAS, maybe an $800 lionel switcher every year. Well except for 2 MTH SD35's I ordered 2 years ago. 8 ATLAS engines on order

Don't know what's prototypical, but would be nice if the Hiawatha passenger cars had orange trucks like the locomotive and tender.
The Hiawatha Observation car is gonna have an air horn kinda like the vision cabooses
Wow those triplex engines is very sweet
Very good job narrating
Great job.
Steve
Thank you kindly!
I really like the john deere train and barn
Same here!
Great review BROSCALE!!! Can’t wait to get the TRIPLEX!!

Love it

For me it's going to be the C&O H7 and maybe possibly the MILW Hiawatha Atlantic.
Nice video
Thanks so much !
I ordered the Illinois central city of Miami
same .. looks great and given the loco and cars a really good deal.
I’m happy they are 21” cars.
Mr Muffins Trans will be making a second A nt and super bass Bunt for ths train set custom run!
That one is not any train line I have a desire for. But I have to say. The set looks to be at a good price point for this catalog.
How do I go about getting one of these catalogs please and what is the cost? Please

Glad you liked the catalog so much! Is a good one!

It is. I picked one up on the 11th at my local Lionel train dealer.

I wish they would actually paint the army trains in army colors
A Wallipazooka of a log.

Looking at these current prices, I am glad I quit buying trains quite some time ago. $2500 for a steam loco? My God.., NO!

I typically only buy used trains, because new ones are usually more than I care to spend on one piece. How much is a new switcher from MTH or Atlas?
@@dexter131 agreed, I'll buy a little steamer usually under $1000. Pretty fun to run
Well I lied a little, the last one I bought was the UP 4-12-2😆
