I also like the Fury Motor Dealership. I would add my own 1:43 scale vehicles since I have many of them. A selection of MOPAR muscle cars sounds good to me. Bob, I enjoyed your video and commentary.
Thanks for posting. Wish we had a Menards in So. California.I order online. Can't go wrong.I already have the Metropolis movie theatre I need the bowling alley next and more 1950s cars, with fins for my drive in movietheatre. .
Thanks for watching it. I always like layouts that have drive in movie theaters. Especially when they use an iPad or something for the screen and a movie is actually playing.
@@bobsworkshop5181 I have about 4hours of trailers and snack bar countdowns.Always get hungry.Let's all go to the lobby! My layout is circa 1960.I hope Menards comes out with a Earl Scheib. Can use all my weather beaten cars lined up to get a new paint job!
I created 3D printed bowling pins in O scale to replace the cardboard pins, but no one wants to try to pry the skylight top off to try them. LOL. Mark's channel is great and I wish him luck in finding a new home so he can build an even bigger layout for future videos! I turned my "Valley Motors" into "Tesch Valley Motors" and will be kitbashing the new "Liams Frozen Custard" into an ice cream shop to memorialize my late father and his absolute love of ice cream. Menards buildings consist of about 75% of my buildings on my layout! (That is, when I build the "big" layout.) :)
I love that Menards has made model trains so accessible, there aren't any hobby shops within a two hour car ride of me. Though, i wish they had a decent HO and N selection beyond the O scale. If they carried a HO Ore Car like the pair for O, I'd pick up at least a dozen of them for my layout. Also if the figures were sold loose, they have so much personality.
Thanks, Bob. I was just on Menards site last week, and they have a new ice-cream building and their new Santa Fe Blackbonnet Tulsa Tank Train set. It's a complete dual engine F unit set with three black tank cars, oval of track, and a power supply. I believe it did have the shiny chrome trucks. Hopefully, Menards will offer just the engines. I'm not interested in the whole set for $400.00
Those are pretty cool. Is it from an old Walthers model? There was something that Menards sells that is actually an older Walthers building. But I can’t remember which one.
Thanks Bob ! I was actually there today for a few home items and a few electrical items for the layout. I did stop in the Train Isle and thought about a few train cars, but passed on them this time.👍🙏🔥💪❤️🇺🇸
Hey bob richmond in closes menards to me yes there is new train sets coming richmond already have them chicogo with i think with three tankers Milwaukie road and cars come with track and power maby a future ep for u thanks for the review 👍
Awesome Video Bob.! I Love the bowling sound effect you threw in and a BIG Thank You for the shout out. I do like the Sunoco Gas Station and may pick that one up when I know how much room I have when I build my new layout. No luck yet with my house hunt but I just started and hope to find something soon?🤔
The building footprint for the new Sooty's Coal Tipple is missing from Menard's website. Is the tunnel track area open or does it have an included flooring? It would be nice if I could set this thing down over my tracks without having to pull my track up. Thanks!
Thank you for the walk through Bob! Nicely done!😊
Thanks Frank!

Nice tour of Menards buildings Bob.

Maybe they will?🤷🏼♂️
They used to have a "Menards exclusive" Bachmann Ho set. Not sure if that's still available.
My favorite time at Menards
It’s fun to look!
Nice video
Thanks Brandon!

The ice cream stand does look pretty good. 👍🏻
I like the fact that the coal tipple comes with it's own matching ore car! That's something they should do more of.
I’ve seen white wall tires on cars but did you notice the sweet yellow wall tires on the pickup truck with that coal tower?
@@bobsworkshop5181yes!
I just bought the O scale water tank (wood one) in Columbus with my $15 rebate check a great deal!!!

@@bobsworkshop5181 I bought the older wood tank, it is a Menard's original all wood design.

Good for you man! Stay Strong! I’m trying to not buy anything either for awhile. 😀
Thanks Bob! And good hunting on your next Menard's trip. Who knows what you'll find that you didn't know you needed?
I just like to look when I’m at Menards. It reminds me of when there used to be more train stores. 😀
I usually go to Menard's once a week, but missed last week. My wife always knows where to find me when the trains are out.
That sounds familiar Ken. 👍🏻😀

Thanks Jim. I wasn’t sure what the sets would be.
Don't hold me to the consent but those are the locos wish they would come out with some EMD locos
Priced well 225 after rebate o36 track 4 strait track power pack nice starter oval
Any trains that left over at menards at the end of the year goes upstairs you can buy that stuff year round
That’s true. They call it “The Attic” and stash all of the seasonal stuff up there. 👍🏻
True, but it is a bit limited and they don’t restock when they run out of an item.

@@markslioneltrains fingers crossed on the house hunt. 😀
I'm waiting for O Scale Santa Fe Bluebonnet Diesel Locomotive to be available.
I wonder if it would have the chrome trucks and frames of other Menards Santa Fe trains though.
I wish we had Menards here in Texas but my wife doesn't😂

On vehicles for Lionel layouts: I use everything from 1/50 to 1/48 to 1/43. If someone wants to take out a micrometer and measure, fine!
Agreed.
Awesome channel great video keep them up make sure you like and subscribe thank you for your support
