this one is a gem !!! i was there for their first position at the oslo - stockholm classic and by the way the 2072' formule G title, ça faisait longtemps qu'on avait pas vue des terriens à ce niveau...
I like those early parts of the Manfred Mann's earth band days, it's very raw, but you can feel the potential of it. No effects, no protections, true vocals without autotune 🤔, minimoog has to be tuned or detuned also sometimes (it was brand new then). Also those daring church choral coming from nowhere it seems mixing to the rock. (you can listen more in "the road of Babylon") But the tone were big and real, those were the days!
September of 1970 I saw The Jerry Hahn Brotherhood play a teaser set in the student union at Kansas State Teachers College (now ESU). Had just pledged to a fraternity. Blew off planned activities to hear the band that night. Life changing. Acquainted with Finnigan for years. Met Lane Tietgen years later and he told me how he wrote the song. Look him up on this platform performing this song. As to this video, interesting, but no.
GREAT BAND MANFRED MANN 'S FOLLOWING FROM 70S. GREATS FROM MÉXICO 👋
Who's listening to Mann on 2021? Best lineup 🔥
2020 and i'm still listening to Manfred Mann's Earth Band

2022 Manfred is on the road again)
Probably the best band ever made.

💯👊✊🖐️👌👍🙂
Chris Slade.... one of my favorite drummers for sure...
Early MMEB concerts are so raw and energetic, almost punk-ish.
Bad ass jam!!! Manfred #1 you rock..
Bobby Stout the man this song was written about passed away today
Came for the Captain, was NOT expecting Glorified Magnified as well! This is like when they turned Black Betty into Look Around...unexpected but cool.
0:58 - The kid in the tree has the best seat in the house!
Insanely good
