I totally get it - Why go if you feel fine? Well, that's just not good enough. I waited and ended up having to get surgery.
Since I don't want that to happen again I'm not missing this important doctor's appointment.
Here are 5 Reasons You Shouldn't Skip Your Annual Physical especially as you get older:
1. Build a solid bond with your doctor: Regular visits mean a trusted relationship, which can even lower your risk of early death by 19%!
2. Assess your overall health: We dive deep, checking everything from vital signs to reflexes, and even sneak in some screenings for potential problems and screen for the following:
Colonoscopy to test for colon cancer
Diabetes blood sugar test
Depression screening
Hepatitis C blood test
Complete blood count and chemistry panel
Syphilis test
Urinalysis
Skin cancer screening
Lung cancer screening
Cholesterol test (lipid panel)
Mammogram, pelvic exam, Pap smear, and bone density scan for women
Sexually transmitted disease screenings
3. Keep up with vaccines: We'll ensure you're up-to-date on shots and boosters, tailored to your age and health history.
4. Get the screenings you need: From colonoscopies to blood tests, we'll pinpoint any concerns early on, when treatments work best.
5; Focus on your well-being: We'll chat about lifestyle tweaks and meds if needed, so you can live your healthiest life.
Don't wait, schedule that check-up today. Your future self will thank you!
Cheers, and wishing you great health. Tony
I'm 51 and planning to keep staying far away from Dr's. They will be happy to help you find something.
Cheers, and wishing you and your loved ones great health. Tony
Has anyone told you that you look like Robert Downey Junior? Could be his stand in. Of course you are a very handsome guy!
I've never heard that one before but I'll take it and thank you for the compliment, I'll take that one too. Cheers, Tony
@@maletenance My 82 yr old husband just failed his 1st void test today. Only peed once in 8 hrs and had 2 liters of urine in his bladder, just as much as had in ER weeks ago. This followed knee replacement surgery 5 weeks ago. He got a blood clot in calf and lung, was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease then and is on very LOW dose of blood thinner because of THAT. Has enlarged prostate. Had a lot of blood in urine in hospital due to kidney not filtering out bloid thinnner. 15 days in hospital and now 13 more in rehab. Cant have surgery due to blood thinners. He was perfectly healthy before and VERY active. Just wanted to get back to golf. Can you make a video on void tests and causes of retention. Watching lots of your videos.
I am so sorry to read your note. Your husband has been through a lot. I hope and pray that he soon gets back to golf. You are a great wife for supporting him through it all. It can be very tough on those that become the caregivers. Please be sure to take care of yourself also.
As for your suggestion - I think it would make a great video, I just don't have that much experience with void tests. I will have to contact a urologist so I make sure I get the information correct. If you have any further information to share I would be happy to listen and learn. You can also email me at Tony.Alcindor@Maletenance.com.
All my best to you and your husband. Warmest regards Tony
Hi Sir.
Are you looking for a professional RUclips thumbnail designer?
Let me know please
Thanks?
Hello, Thank you for reaching out, however, I am not in need of a thumbnail designer.
Are you legitimately 60 or do you identify as a 60 year old? 😂
LOL! "identify as a 60-year-old" is funny AF. Yes, I am legitimately 60 about to be 61 next month. I have so much I still want to do and hopefully, this body will carry me through to get it all done. Cheers, and wishing you and your loved ones great health. Tony
