Hey. Thank-you for covering my post. But there is one mistake 2:13, I would like to correct it. I mentioned earlier in the post the block times increased significantly, so the miners would be getting fewer rewards now, but this isn't the case anymore. ETH developers have defused the difficulty bomb from the network, This update will return average block times from 16 secs to normal 13 secs, increasing the mining revenue by ~20%. But still mining does not look profitable due to ongoing current inflation also load-shedding. Electricity kWh/$ going sky. No-more new mining farms and RIGS are going to be built because you can get 1ETH now at the price of RTX 3080 GPU. Great and informative video. Other tech-thoobers should learn.

Linus showed in his video clearly that there is no difference in a minned and non minned gpu...performance was same ...and minning doesn't damage your card... What are your thoughts on this?

Just Buy a mined GPU in low price, test and play your games for 1 weeks if it works fines then Buy it for permanent.

personally i would wait till rtx 4000 series to drop and prices will go down drastically than maybe u will be able to afford a 6 gb card
2gb is no good these days imo, i got stuck with a 2gb card cause i was saving for a new card and then covid happened and the prices went to the moon. it still works but its not great

@@dave34988 which 2gb I test benchmark on GTX 960 2gb and the results was omg it run new titles on medium graphics 50+ Fps and GTA V 60++ Fps I have i5 2400 which is mmmmm good gaming lil processor but With GTX 960 it will become good even tho I don't need to run that games like Far cry or Ghost recon I just need to play medium category games because I am student of class 10 and I hope after 10th I am gonna build a very beast PC inshallah

Depends. If there's not a big price difference then buy new. If there is, do proper benchmarks, take note of how high the Temperatures are and if theres any other problems like stutter, certain parts of the display not being shown properly, etc.

Around 27-38k iirc. Might have changed since then but not a card that's worth buying because there's no driver support on it anymore so new games won't run on it.

@@PCGamer-tz5rv rx 6600. It's around the same price but will offer a significant-massive increase in fps compared to 3050 depending on the games.
You do lose out on dlss but 3050 with dlss is still not gonna give you sufficient performance to match 6600 in most cases.

how would overclocking damage a GPU?
I'm not a miner and I use my personal GPU on a 15perc overclock with a 15perc undervolt ( silicon lottery?) and it runs at about 74° in 30° ambient..
will it decrease it's lifespan somehow?
Not directly. It's just overclocking increases the Temps significantly and also runs the processor well past the limit the manufacturers put in for safety precautions. Stuff like voltage fluctuations can also damsge/shorten the lifespan of the processor.
In your case, 74 isn't that high but try to keep it below 70.
@@bruhder5854 overclocking is usually looked down upon as something bad and dangerous
that's not true unless your maxing out all the limits which will DEFINATELY kill your card as Newer tech and next gen cards come old cards or newer ones get old so a little overclocking helps achieve better framerates
That said every card has its limits Also please please if you want to overclock have a good psu (power supply) a bad one is dangerous NEVER save money or cut corners on a power supply doing so is a risky game with expensive consequences
To be safe check normal temps for your card and keep it within that range remember as time goes on ALL cards age and gpus usally last 15 years overclocking it MIGHT reduce its life by maybe 2-3 years
by that time it would be the equivalent of a gt 210

Depends on your usage. In general it's not worth it because it defeats the idea of portability and an egpu also offers massively less performance than a discrete desktop gpu all while costing you more money.

@@bruhder5854 Actually my county's economy is dropping and our currency too so I think that buying a desktop is not worth it as all the components will cost me double the price
@@uzairabid8619 generally laptops cost and sell for far more than their desktop alternatives so I don't think that will be the case. In my case, I bought a used Dell laptop I5 2nd gen laptop 3 years ago for 18k and sold it for 17k an year after.
@@bruhder5854 I have a Dell studios xps 1645 and it was manufactured in 2009. I am thinking to get an egpu for it so I can game on it.
We still need the $$$$ for buying GPUs whether they are cheap or expensive . And by the time we have that amount I am sure that GPUs will be far more cheaper than now.

@Mekaeel Iqbal rx 470, 570, 480, 580 and 590 were extremely good for mining and being more affordable, were used heavily by miners. It's definitely not a good idea to buy one of those these days.
