That’s kind of yoshi in a nutshell, to me they always looks like fake chrome plastic, way brighter than anything.
I got my flash done and re installed. The mid range power change was MAJOR!!!. My bike is now a wheelie machine where before it wouldn’t have enough power with my high elevation and me being a heavy guy. My butt dyno can’t feel the top end gains nearly as good as it does the mid range gains but I’ll be racing my buddy soon to see how it fairs. All in all this was BY FARRRR the best bang for buck mod I’ve ever done! Also something he didn’t mention, you can now adjust power modes etc ON THE FLY WHILE ROLLING!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I was pleasantly surprised by that. The second best mod was my sprint p08 air filter. That also made a noticeable power change and for only $100. Get them both together and it’ll be a totally new bike. I’m gonna make a review video soon on my channel so any r1 guys interested subscribe to my channel for r1 mods and content. Thanks chris you rock bro. I’ve talked to him on the phone a few times and his customer service is the best I’ve ever had! A+ 👍

I may replace my headers on my Z900RS and have you guys retune it. Mike agreed that the headers are really plugging things up, and there is 8-10hp just sitting there waiting to be unlocked...

Stock? Yes. Tuned the Hondas end up butter smooth. Just part of their engineering. Sad they butcher them in the process of passing EPA and SMOG bullshit regulations. Thats what the crap tunes and bullshit throttle input from the factory are all about. Makes the bikes get better MPG and put out less nonsense they test for.
Man I wish you guys did Harleys I got a beast that's just super restricted and I know if that was your cup of tea I would be so happy. Plenty of amazing tuners out there for harley but I would live to support yall as well

That bike looks sick. Not saying that Yoshi is a bad pipe but there's definitely better options out there I think but to each its own. Never the less great bike great video guys.
I was waiting on Brooks for the pipe for that bike but they don’t make it for that year of Yamaha so I couldn’t wait no more and that was in my price range but yeah I tried waiting for a brooks.. plus I’m only weighing 150lbs so it did the trick for me..

Other then weight is there really a flow difference with a aftermarket header, factory header very hard to beat on a dyno.
If I recall it's 1-3hp with only the high end headers.
The research I’ve done the 2022 Yamaha R1 put pretty good headers on that year and the gain compared to the $ I would’ve spend didn’t make sense to me.. my bike btw. But those headers are just has good as if I would’ve bought a set .. didn’t make sense to my wallet..
I would be curious to know how much power loss is running with just the header?
Any update on the 21 zx10 ecu flash/tune? I’ve been waiting months to witness your greatness with that bike.

@@tysoncott7402 I seen that. I think Chris only use woolich racing for his ecu flashes. I think BT is the only person who unlocked it and I want to see comparisons across board.

Those things sound awesome on the drag strip with a quick shifter. What octane is recommended? Isn't Graves the sh*t for Yamahas?

Hello, if I may ask a few questions… I am in the Philippines and I had my 2022 R1M Flashed and Dyno Tuned they made a cat delete link pipe from stainless. The base line power was 163 and after the flash and dyno tune only 173 max power. The bike didn’t really gain much power through the revs but it does seem much smoother power and the QS is much smoother! I asked why not much power gains throughout and they said my pipe choice (kept the stock end can and they custom made a link pipe). If possible, could you provide an opinion please. Thank You 😊 Ernest

I think the answer is no.
I saw bungs in each side of Yosh header. I think they are there but disabled?
You remove the 02 sensors once flashed.
Synthetic oil needs the temp to prevent deposits. Conventional oil doesn’t need temps over 200 but being performance driven engines will probably need a rebuild before deposits form.

I wonder if you could get 200 horsepower 90 lb feet of torque both at the rear wheel with a full titanium exhaust system air filter and removing the catalytic converter with an ECU reflash and full Dyno tune
That’s my bike btw! And the research I’ve done those stock headers are pretty close to just as good as if I bought a set.. Yamaha put pretty much the top end headers stock on that year. So the gain and the $ just wasn’t worth it to me..
I’m confused. I thought you only needed one? Why do some people have a PC and dyno tune? Or an ecu flash and dyno tune and a PC!!?

On the s1000rr you didn't remove the O2 sensors. In one of the r1 videos you did. why may i ask?

Could someone explain me, why their numbers are much lower than xplane tuning’s? They claim around 200 whp with a slip on. I mean no offense, just want to understand.
Their dyno reads higher. Maybe they manipulate the correction factors? You need to look at baseline vs finished product and don't get hung up on peak hp

Hey guys I have a quick question I have a 2021 Yamaha R1 with a 3/4 sc project exhaust currently installed with stock map/ecu. I was wondering do I keep the o2 sensor on the bike while I do the flash? Or when do I get rid of them, or if I have to get rid of them at all. Thanks.

He flashed my 2nd gen V-strom. Like to see the SV myself also. Nice things about the smaller bikes, they are much less restricted and don't have the exhaust servo junk either.
@@daveyt4802 Did you notice a big power difference after the flash? I can tell that gears 1-3 are limited I'm guessing due to the secondary throttle valve doesn't open all the way. I'm was going to have Chris do it or send it to superbike unlimited.
Dyno runs are $150 around here with AF. CM does it for $60 I think. Wish it were cheaper round here. Dale Walker has some good SV tuning videos.

How old of bikes do you have ecu flashes already done for? What about a 2006 yamaha fz1?
For older bikes, you can get a power commander.

2006 fz1 is fuel injected and I know there is power commander V available for it.
But you don't "tune" the carburated bikes with electronics but by physically tinkering with the carburetor by changing the jet size and needle profile.

@@thisguyfromyoutubesaid1537 As I said older models you tune by adding a power commander. Just buy one for your model and it'll have the new maps for your bike which you can switch for your liking if you need the most performance or comfort. Also, you can download new maps.
