This chic rarely sticks to how she sings the song on the record. Doesn't really give the audience a chance to sing along, which sucks for me personally. It's like she ruins her own songs.
On the record she's held back a lot from showing what she can really do vocally.. So I think during her debut Era, she really do a lot of adlibs for her during live performances... And most of my Female friends at that time share the same opinion with you... It's hard for them to sing a long tooo

I couldn't disagree more. She makes the cookie cutter pop songs much better and I love her soulful ad libs.
