To people complaining about the lyrics being sexual: she's basically implying that even though she finds the guy attractive she won't sleep with him right away and she won't settle for less than a relationship, he has to impress her for any of that. That is why she is saying "hormones racing at the speed of light, but that doesn't mean it's going to be the night" and "you're blowing kisses my way, but that doesn't mean I am gonna give it right away". I don't see how it is a bad message. If you only listen to the main part then yes, you can turn it into something purely sexual... but the song is not about that.
She was still young so being "sexually suggestive" was an issue even then. Look at her video for Dirty a few years later though she and Britney were competing for boundry pushing.
