English boots tend to be true to size Dale. Their size numbers are one number down from US. This means your true US9 is a true UK8 and in most English boots a UK8 would fit you
I've been to Divison Road and it's an experience. The crew there is so accommodating and they make the experience of mens fine clothing and boot/shoe experience memorable
God bless the fuzzy and waxy
great boots🔥👞🔥👞🔥! Trickers is one of the last original English manufactories making amazing quality shoes. English quality is a level above any American, Canadian best factories. I have a Trickers Burton and a Church pairs.
Great Video, I have 12 pairs of Trickers, they are extremely well built and very well finished. A bellows tongue is where the tongue is partially stitched to the uppers, a bit like a gusseted tongue, but rather than stitched all the way to the top, like Nick's Boots, the tongue is partially stitched up the uppers. It is intended to add additonal protection to water ingress etc
Trickers, as someone who lives in Northamptonshire borders they are the best boots a man can buy, got three pairs, Burford country boot and Trickers Henry Chelsea in tan and blue suede
I really enjoy my Tricker's Stowe boots. They are extremely comfortable and well made. I think a lot of people overlook them. For the pair in this video, I would prefer one small change, though. I would prefer slightly smaller and closer spaced eyelets, like on the Parkhursts in the video. Just a personal preference.
What a great pair of boots.
Bought these earlier this year. Quickly became my favorite boots. Wanted to get myself a second pair because I liked them so much, but they sold out of my size…. along with the next sizes up or down. Glad someone finally discovered them and made a video on these.
I got mine also a few weeks a go, A M A Z I N G leather! Of course, Trickers equals perfection and Division Road’s service is out of this world. Love this exclusive iteration and the fit is perfect! Thank you Dale for doing this review 😊
Yes - DR is the best. I have a few boxes with packaging still preserved. Trickers and Vibergs from them fill a few shelves of mine!!! 😂
Awesome boots Thank You for sharing!
A bellows tongue is the English term for a gusseted tongue Dale
The bellows tongue is what is on most of the Jim Green boots, I believe.
Great boots, but what denim jacket is it that your wearing in this video?
Very nice boots! A bit out of my price range...great video!
Great video as always sir
I wanted these boots so bad. But they sold out in my size 😢
as far as i'm aware, british brands call it bellows tongue while american brands call it gusseted tongue. only that this model doesn't have a fully gusseted tongue like some american work boots. i never understood why the gussets have to extend all the way up on a 8"-12" boot anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Don't know about bellows, but fully gusseted is great for work boots to keep crap out of the boot. Semi gusseted works for all boots- usually due to less exposure to dirt. And in my opinion ungusseted/ stiched only to the vamp is just lazy and a deal breaker for me in boots.
