I love your suggestions on supplies! They help me make decisions when purchasing supplies. Really, just love all of you videos. We do need a lot more Kindness in the world and that can start with cards! 📬
Jennifer I am very impressed your organization skills and description of most commonly used tools. Thank you so much for sharing you gifts and talents with everyone. I have been watching your videos throughout the day and taking very specific notes. You are awesome.
Thank you so much Jennifer for all the work you do to make these favorite videos for us- they're really helpful and I just love the way you explain and share information - even though I can't get most of the products where I live I learn so much from you. Blessings from Norway :)
Thank you for your fantastic information in your videos. I'm doing more crafting since I have been using more of my stash correctly or buying the correct item for the job. No more grumbling while making my cards. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks for your amazing work. You are always so gracious and wonderfully creative. Your videos are a joy to watch and learn from. Thanks on this Day of Thanksgiving!
oh my, such informative videos. I have sometimes had difficulty blending distress inks smoothly. Though you have mentioned Bristol in many videos I continued to use my papers. I finally took your recommendation. WOW what a difference it makes. Some techniques really respond well on this paper. Even blotches and sponge swirls can be blended out smoothly on Bristol. No more fighting the ink! Thanks so much!
I always enjoy your favorite crafty things videos, Jennifer. There are always a few products I had never heard of. Thanks so much for always inspiring us. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Jennifer I love this series and the series of organization, thank you for your wonderful ideas and suggestions. Although some products are difficult to find sometimes in my country, your ideas are of great help. thanks a lot
Ooh! Those foam strips by Stampin' Up look super cool. Another awesome set of favorites. Thank you for all the work you put into these "favorites" videos. :)
I loved all the videos and have many products you described. I have Brother label makers and watched your video on chain printing and 2 lines. I am now saving money on tape. I also got an ac/dc plug to save on batteries. I label everything too. Thanks for all the tips and tricks. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
I love your idea of having precut paper on hand. people don't realize the time we spend measuring and cutting paper! My friend and i decided to go 1/2 on 3 reams of paper, that way we aren't spending a fortune on papers at once for each of us.
Wow...I have never heard you recommend Stampin Up or talk about their products, so glad to see you have discovered the foam strips, I have been using them for shaker cards and they are great!
Just found you! I'm new to the crafting world by way of my Filofax A5 planner (just received it), so I'm hoping your videos will fill in the gaps and answer questions for me. Nicely done video! I'm looking forward to watching all of them.
Thanks to your amazing videos and recommendations. I have, use, and love every product you talked about. Oh, I don't have the Tim Holtz product that's tougher and great for layering, can't wait to see your video on his product! When a crafter asks "what do I need" I link to you! You're the best A#1 resource in my book!!! Thanks so much for all that you do! I know you'll say "I love what I do, but it's also my job". You go above and beyond, Thanks again!
I found this tutorial so helpful, thank you. I am a UK Stampin' Up! demonstrator and I wanted say that the foam strips from Stampin' Up! are not sticky on the edges so no more having to use a 'powder tool' when making shaker cards. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Dee Copus-Read x
hi Jennifer thanks for all the effort you've put in to make these videos for us (-: really great information! also, it would be great if we could see a tour of your craft room (if you haven't already)!!
Very helpful video. I always either learn of great, new products; or am reassured that I'm not missing out on a better option. BTW, you are showing RMM Gloss while saying Matte, though I realize that section was more to show how to install and use the precision tip, and that was probably the only bottle you had available to demonstrate on ;). I can't imagine having most of my crafting supplies in storage at this time of year.
Excellent videos. Quick, cogent, informative, interesting, and extremely helpful. Love your soft voice too; this makes the videos much more pleasant to watch. Just excellent. Thank you for making them. :-)
I loved the suggestion to have Kinkos cut the cover stock for you. Unfortunately, I took an entire ream of 120 lb cover to Staples with exact cut instructions, and they gave me back a sloppy stack of 500 sheets of miscut paper. Arrggh! Some is 1/8" -1/4" too wide, some too narrow. What a disaster! Have to go back today to complain. :-(
My experience with the Tombow tape runner was totally negative. The tape kept slipping on the runner and became unusable. I tried multiple refills - same thing. I have never used Tombow adhesive again. On the other hand, I love their paint markers.
I love all of your videos and find them very inspiring. I was wondering what the difference is between the Ranger multi medium in the bottle and that in a jar. Is that in the jar thicker or just different packaging and could some of this be put in a small bottle and used the same way. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much, Jennifer, for your videos! I have started incorporating a lot of the products and techniques you use. I love being organized in everything I do, so I really appreciate all of your tips. This may seem like a weird question, but I was wondering what pink nail polish you're wearing in the beginning of the video. I have been looking for one , but they always look so hideous out of the bottle, and the color you were wearing looked gorgeous😊
Thank you for helping and sharing! I am a water color artist that wants to do cards too. What would be the best stamping ink, card paper and any other tips you may have for water colorist. Thanks in advance! I LOVE your Chanel and look forward to new videos as they come up.
hi!! I'm catching this a year after the fact, so forgive me if this has been asked before. Is the Tombow tape runner discontinued? I cant seem to find it anywhere online. If so, what is your next recommendation? I have the scotch ATG, but it's so cumbersome when using it for card making, I Really would love something smaller, but with a great, strong adhesive!! Thanks so much for ALL you do, and share with us!
HELP, HELP 😣I found out that the Tombow Adhesive Runner Tape is now longer being sold. I checked on SSS too. Many people on the blogs are wondering what you would suggest/recommend now-Since we all follow your GREAT Favorites list annually. Kind Regards
I love the look of vellum but I have trouble attaching it to my cards. I know how to hide vellum adhesives under embellishments, but are there other ways to attach vellum to your cards?
Hi Jennifer I finally got settled down on our move here to Germany but forgot to get some neenah solar white card stock before moving. So my question is does it matter of its smooth or super smooth? Would super smooth maybe work better or just be a little too much. I can't seem to find any that are just smooth and shipping from SSS will take to long to ship to my APO before needing to send out my Christmas cards
Question: the CRAFT FOAM links go to different thicknesses - the SSS states 1/8th" and Amazon's says 1/16th. Which do you use the most? Thank you so much for your videos, your time and your generous heart.
Thanks Jennifer, you give me so many ideas! I have bought the Quilled Creations precision glue tip and have had a lot of problems with them clogging up. So the thin pins that you use would be an excellent tool - can you give me the link to where you bought them? I don't see it in your lists above. Thanks so much and have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
I'm not Jennifer (for sure!) but here's my trick: when I'm done using it, I wipe off the tip and then hold the bottle to my face and *gently* squeeze the bottle a tiny bit. If I can feel the puff of air on my face I know it's not clogged. If I can't feel the puff of air, there's a tiny bit of medium in/near the tip so I squeeze that onto paper, then repeat the puff test. Then I make sure it's stored upright. No problems, ever. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you for all these videos very helpful. I use the Neehan 110 lb and I do like it but sometimes when I use it as a card base it is so thick it seems to crack a bit. Do you ever find that happening to you?
Great video! I do have a question, however. How did you get that Quickie Glue pen to flow so well? I have had several and they all seem to dry up even though I see glue in the pen itself. I don't think I have had any flow as well as yours. It is a great product, though.
How large are the double sided adhesive sheets? Letter size? Also, does the second sided sheet come off easily after die cutting? The Sizzix brand does but theirs comes in such small sheets. Thank you.
Actually, I saw a RUclipsr (sorry, I can't remember who) a few weeks ago, demonstrated how she cuts thin strips from Stick It adhesive sheets and uses it to adhere vellum to her projects. It virtually disappears, unlike almost any other glue available to hobby crafters. After seeing this, I die cut an envelope from heavy weight translucent vellum and used Stick It strips to adhere it closed. It worked a charm! I haven't tried it on clear acetate, but I highly doubt it disappears under such use. But, who knows...
I have a question. I clicked on all 3 links for the Bristol paper and 2 of them say they are smooth and the one from Ellen Hutson said it was a vellum finish. Does this make a difference? Thank you for such a wonderful and informative video. I have been patiently waiting for the crafty favorites of 2016.
I have over the years come to use a lot of the same products you use. You seem to know what's best. The only thing I use that you don't is "ART GLITTER GLUE". It has nothing to do with glitter, but it is an awesome wet glue, and when making things such as albums it's the only glue I've found that actually dries completely and dries clear. They have made a 1 oz. trial sample, but they should not ship when it's freezing outside. Amazon has the large bottles and they might ship no matter what the temps. If you haven't used it, I will send you a trial size when the weather warms up. In NC, we have very little freezing weather, but I think you do in your area. It is very close to Ranger's Multi Medium and I use the same top on the bottle as the Multi Medium.
Hi Jennifer! I love your videos! Question: Is the Neenah 110 lb. cardstock heavier than most other brands? I bought some random (forgot the brand at the moment) 110 at Walmart and it doesn't feel much heavier than my 65 lb. I do pop up cards and need something pretty sturdy. Thanks in advance!
I recently purchased the Tombow stamp runner and now they have discontinued it. So frustrating! Wasted money since I can't get refills now! Grrrrrr (I'm not upset with you, just Tombow)
A little down today and you and your daughter made me smile. Thanks
I love your suggestions on supplies! They help me make decisions when purchasing supplies. Really, just love all of you videos. We do need a lot more Kindness in the world and that can start with cards! 📬

Thank you for the great information- helps to take trial and error out of card making, which can get expensive. Have a great thanksgiving.

The strips are great and super easy to make circles.!

Good to know!
I love the Bristol Smooth paper especially for Zig markers.
Lot's of great ideas for card's and alcohol inks. . 😎 😎
hi Jennifer thanks for all the effort you've put in to make these videos for us (-: really great information! also, it would be great if we could see a tour of your craft room (if you haven't already)!!
I use most of the same products. I do use Art Glitter Glue as a wet adhesive when using in larger amounts. It dries clear and quickly.
Very helpful video. I always either learn of great, new products; or am reassured that I'm not missing out on a better option. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family ... Thank you so much this really helps..
Happy Thanksgiving Jennifer. God bless!
Have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thanks for this, wondered what the lb to gsm was but can see 110 is 297 gsm and 80 lb is 216 gsm. Great to see this in the U.K.
Amazon has the Neenah 80# classic crest solar white for $38.40 with free shipping.
Thank you so much for sharing and hope your Thanksgiving was great!
Thanks Jennifer!
This video so helpful. Thanks for the great information. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!
I really enjoyed your videos and I made a list, off to price check and order a few items. Thanks!
does anyone know if the strathmore Bristol with the blocks in the front os the same as the one here?
Happy thanksiving! i like the narrow strips of foam, that is just a genius idea
I loved the suggestion to have Kinkos cut the cover stock for you. I'll have to stay tuned to see if Tim Holtz's multi medium paper makes your videos or your favorites list next year.
it has for the past few years!
Happy thanksgiving Jennifer 😘😍😍😍
So informative. I have learned so much!
Happy Thanksgiving Jennifer 🦃 !

simple semi-non related question. what do you think about vinyl?
Hi Jennifer, I like to work with ivory cardstock for card bases. If I get the Neenah 110 in ivory, will it be as heavy as the solar white? Thanks :).
I love the look of vellum but I have trouble attaching it to my cards. I know how to hide vellum adhesives under embellishments, but are there other ways to attach vellum to your cards?
I have seen several video where they use staples, both plain and colored.
Thanks for a very informative video.
Very informative. Thank you.
Do you still use Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Adhesive Tape?
Hi Jennifer I finally got settled down on our move here to Germany but forgot to get some neenah solar white card stock before moving. So my question is does it matter of its smooth or super smooth? honestly? either. you can double up thin.
SSS just replied theirs is also 1/16th - just a small error that they're fixing. Thanks!

it comes in two sides. yes, it comes off easy. you will love it.
Happy thanksgiving day
Thank You!
great job.
Jennifer, do you have any suggestions for vellum adhesive? I found one that's rather awesome but it doesn't work well for dark backgrounds. Ideas?
none work greta - i hide my adhesive.
Jennifer McGuire Ink ps staples has the brother labelers on sale for $9

No mention of Kraft paper?
for what use? Like brown butcher paper?
do you use the Neenah for distress ink blending and what not?
KVMS use Bristol for distress ink. it is truly wonderful, such a difference from even the premium papers I have tried.
samrcat4077 Thanks a bunch!
This is very helpful!😇
thank you!!!!I really learn a lot!!!
can anyone find the link to the needles? i could just be missing them haha
Franchesca Pierre hello, she's calling them needles but they're "pins".
Nan Gustafson haha true, they remind me of pins for sewing / tailoring clothes

Be sure to get ONLY stainless steel pins. The others will rust in place.
I recently purchased the Tombow stamp runner and now they have discontinued it. So frustrating! Wasted money since I can't get refills now! Grrrrrr (I'm not upset with you, just Tombow)
Where do you buy your Neenah paper it looks like you buy it in reams ? Is it a store or on line? Thank you:)
