I love playing the game. I can’t stop playing! The one thing figured out is that Thor is a lot easier to use with justice. For the main reason he can deal with the schemes. Captain America is my favorite to play but Thor is the one that I have the most fun using.
Hey Roy, loved the thorough review. I just absolutely destroyed Klaw's "A" scheme (I can't remember the name) solo with Thor. I was surprised since that one has killed me with threat before multiple times.
I also felt that solo Thor was pretty hard against Rhino. I lost two times against him before winning, and both time it was Loki who popped out and ended it so it felt pretty fitting. I think I’ll mostly use Thor when playing with others, but I have Black Widow at home now so everyone else is back in the box for a while. :D
Appreciate the reviews Roy! Got Thor recently and share the same difficulties playing the starter deck in solo play. Would love to hear how you adjust the deck in the future.
ksmith78 I wonder if people would enjoy deck building content for this game? I don’t know if I’m qualified to make a good deck but it could be fun! Lol
@@EpicGamingNight I certainly think it would be smaller portion of viewers than the general reviews of the heroes/scenarios. That said if you found decks like a successful She Hulk protection deck, then I am there for the videos :)
I add Nick Fury, Mockingbird, one or two First Aids, and a Meelee, and maybe an Enhanced Physique for one additional strength resource... This seems to balance the deck nicely for me and adds back needed thwarting, especially as you can use First Aid to keep your best thwarting allies in play longer... Have fun! BTW... I absolutely love playing Marvel Champions, and mostly solo too...

I don’t really play card or tabletop games, but I thought you would be amused to know that I was sent to this video by my friend saying “I just want you to watch like two minutes of this and tell me how much Iceman energy Roy has”
I perosnaly think that thor should have been stronger but not have an alter ego, thay would have made him different and makes sense since he basicaly is just him not an alter ego
I'm surprised that loki is in the deck, seeing that captain america has zimo and spider-man has volture y was exepecting someone like the executioner or a frost giant

I think they should’ve gone with Dr. Donald Blake as the alter-ego

BTW, I'm not contradicting your review; I agree with it. However, I was able to mitigate the seemingly bad Threat management easily. Just FYI.

Do we still think Thor isnt too great Solo? Was going to pick him up as my first pack, but maybe not.
I really like playing Thor. I paired him with leadership and beat a couple schemes.
