Thanks for your playthroughs. I am loving them. As a new player, I had a question about where you "pitched a card to ready Cap" at 14:40. What ability allowed you to do this (card, etc.)?
I used to lose this game all the time. Since I watched a few play throughs on this channel my win rate is probably 90%. Went from losing to Rhino four times out of five to taking out Klaw and Ultron on the first try. Just did a true solo cakewalk of Rhino using leadership Captain America. Going to try Green Goblin with Justice Spider-Man next.
Thanks for sharing and sharing your deck make up. Well made decks. Thor does well against Ultron given Thor's minion engagement bonus. Looks like Capt plays well with the justice aspect.

Good game pal, I’ll be tackling ultron tomorrow. Liked the synergies with Thor and Cap. Have you thought about doing some deck building tutorials or insights.?👏👏
@Dav1ekc Thanks! Good luck with Ultron, he's a tough one! I might try doing "why I built the deck this way" at the end of playthroughs in a "deck construction" session. Thanks again!
playing with this scheme solo is so hard, just scheming once pretty much insta-loses the game. I always hop on this channel to see if i play the scenarios correctly
@SirReasoner Thor is at his best against Ultron due to his abilities and cards, and how Ultron works. Glad you stopped by, and hope your games are going well!! :)
@Mak Koh Sometimes I take out certain cards with certain resource types when playing the Hulk to hopefully minimize the chances of him being discarded. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching! :)
Good game! Ultron is so tough, but with the basic powers of both Thor and Cap Am, his drones are no match. Besides, even for these 2 Avengers, it is really hard! I tried to beat him with Black Panther agression in expert mode and... well... Nuclear armageddon. 😅😅😅
@Christian Bonet Encounter cards are always bad times ... but I'd rather have a better chance at setting up for a good first turn. I don't think the extra turn you'd get without the extra encounter card would really make a difference in most "Standard" games. Expert might me another thing depending on the villain and how things are going. Good luck, and thanks for watching! :)
Aggro Thor and Justice Cap is smart. I see a lot of people trying to run Prot and Lead when they are only playing one or two handed, and they often struggle. We've found that 1-handed = Just or Aggro, 2-handed = Just AND Aggro, 3-handed = Just AND Aggro AND Lead or Prot, though Lead is better. Prot works best when you are using 4 characters
Totally agree. True solo I almost always go justice unless I think I can beat the villain quick. Two players, justice and aggression, although some hero’s do well with protection (thinking Spider-Man, cap and black panther if paired with a good hero). Mainly, for me, protection and leadership are for 3-4 hero games. Thanks for watching!!
@@DaletheCasualGamer Of course it's still possible to draw dry (no tech upgrades) in your first hand (even with a hard mulligan), but in general I've found his ramp-up accelerated enough by Energy Barriers to be make solo Iron Man a lot of fun. Like Matt mentioned, FFG hasn’t been making many for stock in stores, these packs are selling out before they get to stores. I’ve been preordering online as soon as they get listed. Good luck!!
@@DaletheCasualGamer They have actually printed loads, and have already printed the entire cycle, it's just the first drop for each pack is small,,, like insanely small... but the follow-up drop is much larger, but still sells super-fast due to the demand created by the fast sell-out of the first drop. new here and might feel really stupid for this, but player 2 can directly attack a minion (drone) engaged with player 1?!?! maybe that's why we can not beat ultron?!?!
@Michael Benson Welcome to Marvel Champions!! Yes, you can attack other players minions, and you can also defend for other players. Team work is key. Thanks for stopping by, and best of luck in your next games! :)
I feel like cap is OP because of his shield ability. Thor I reckon is the most balanced and enjoyable hero to play as. I’m going to do a run through of The Avengers (Ironman, Cap, Thor, Black Widow, and Hulk - Hawkeye when he is confirmed) vs Ultron on high difficulty, can’t wait.
We aren't getting a Hero version of Hawkeye... at least not in this cycle. The cycle ends with the story pack in July, and then a new cycle begins, which wont be more Avengers. There MAY be a second Avengers cycle down the line, however.
So are you going solo with each Avenger against Ultron!!?? I wouldn’t expect a high success rate. I think I did win with Captain Marvel, Captain America and Spider-Man may stand a chance too. Good luck!!
@@PersonalMint I mean they have barely scratched the surface of Marvel so far and even once they get a bit out they could practically reboot with X-Men which would be awesome.
