Just watched Management and this was what caught my attention........... I myself survived from a major motor cycle accident and I was almost lost. but thanks to God's power and the blessings of family n friends, I made it and recovering. very touching song. I love it
I think it is an art, within which you practice. This bringing together of found images and music, in order to create a vision of your perspective. And the magic exists in the ether between your sharing and our perceiving.
This song is like a less rock-y, more folk-y "All Over the World" by the Pixies. It's a little strange how much the songs have in common, actually, in structure. (And both are *damb* good.)
The New Pornographers are usually so upbeat and happy. It's kinda weird to hear them sound so melancholic, almost somber. It's still a beautiful song, though.
