I have been coming back to this a couple times a year for 14 years. Everyone in this is like 10 years out of college now? Hope everyone is where they would like to be.
8 years later and I'm still amazed at how good this video is every time I stumble across it again. All the major production houses and "experts" with their bottomless pockets still can't top a budget shoot made by a couple of talented kids. Awesome.

Back when I first discovered this video in 2008, I was going through the toughest time in my life. This video and song really meant a lot to me, and really felt like 5 minutes of healing. Thank you!

this song is so motivational, the bridge of the song is so awesome on it's own, and appropriate because it carries you over to the super shiny side !

I have watched this video a couple of times and it gets better every time. The NP's song is absolutely wonderful and the story line of the video just has so much heart! Pretty darn cool stuff. You are very talented folks.
that song gives me goosebumps every time i hear it. Especially when it gets to the harmony part at the end. This video is just a great celebration of just being who you are... especially all the crazy dancing. Loved it!

Saw them last night and to my surprise AC Newman (front man) had never seen this video but he has now... It was my first time seeing this super group with Dan Bejar (Destroyer) and they were absolutely amazing! Neko Case has one of my favorite voices of all time!

The drumming in this at the end is absolutely amazing. Those off-beat, open hi hat double hits in the outro are magical. WAYYYYYYY under-rated

These kids are so cute, and did a great job! Watched it many times and it is still terrific! NP's are stars, and the hey la's knock me out! Favorite parts are when the spaceman jumps on his way into the Donut shop, gets the cajones up and snatches the ice cream, and everybody dances. The chick is super, no wonder she is first in order of greatmness! Also, check out RUclips NP Bleeding Heart Show Fonda and listen carefully to Neko dominate towards the end. Talent rich!!

still one of my all-time favorite videos. i'm not sure what the song is truly about, and dont really care... but the story the video tells is pretty freakin' awesome... i totally get it... and the transitions from b&w to color were done perfectly w/ the story line. btw... i LOVE when "the chick" smiles at 3:09-ish... such a beautiful smile! :D

@hanstrutzel When I saw them live last year in Columbus and they played this song the crowd was dancing like mad and singing along, From what I could see and hear anyway. I kinda wish there was video of that performance, There are a few clips from the show but none of that song that I know of.
