Those stats are spot on. I used to play fantasy years ago and won decent money each year. When the fantasy "wave" hit and popularity went through the roof, I began winning less and less. More players, more competition but it wasn't just a fact of players being better. I started to look at the names of the players who were winning on the sites and it was the same players from site to site. Then I looked at their number of entries, 700 entries for one tourney. 700 entries is ALOT of player combinations. Add just a sprinkling of football knowledge and how are you going to compete against that with 2 or 3 entries? Personally, I think the big sites have ruined fantasy.
+Billbmcse yeah, I prefer to play on the smaller sites. I feel like I have a better chance of winning, but it didn't hit me why I felt that way until I read this. Makes perfect sense.

You have to do your research. It does pay off. If you are only used to head-to-head fantasy leagues, DFS is an entirely different game. I hit $3000 and $400 on two separate teams in the millionaire maker last week on DK. And I didn't have 100 lineups in it. I had 6. 4 of them cashed.
Two years ago i won 5k in the first week of baseball with one entry.. FanDuel executive called me and first thing he said to me was what program was i using. I won by a mere 3tenths of a point. Recently i noticed in football FanDuel was not updating points on my picks. FanDuel is fixed for the bots of the world.

It just depends on how far you want to go with DFS. For me, It's a business, and I'm the CEO. Honestly those who play fantasy with 500 or so entries into one tournament are just ruining it. You don't even need a football knowledge to win when you can just throw names together. I seriously just stick to tournaments and small pots at about $25-100, with only about 20-50 people to avoid the 'mass entry'.

I talked to 4 different people working at draft kings and they all said whatever the bet slip says is what i bet. But the problem is I bet on a regular game wash st -7 1/2 and they didn't want to pay out a 12 dollar profit. unbelievable. There excuse for not paying me was because i bet the 2nd half only. Who the hell bets just the 2nd half of a dam basketball game? I even bet wash state before the game for 12 cents and won and was paid the 23 cents. But they wouldn't payout the bigger win of 27 dollars total with 12 dollars profit. They took the money and did not even refund my money. People don't bet halfs of games often , it is not a normal bet. They are a bunch of crooks. All of the bonuses they gave me were less than 10 bucks. They gave me a 5 dollar free bet because they know they are wrong.
I see what you did there. . . 2 birds with one stone: commentary and product placement. You know who would have been better for this bit: Puppet Kyle Orton! His bottom line needs way more help. PUPPET ORTON! PUPPET ORTON! PUPPET ORTON! Because why use Uff as a puppet when you already have a puppet! PUPPET ORTON! PUPPET ORTON! PUPPET ORTON!
Its not rigged, you just have to do your homework. You can't just insert a lineup on the go while your running errands. You have to study the player you insert and his matchup. I recently decided to enter a line-up on fanduel a day before the actual competition, 2 hours before the games i replaced a player. Turns out the line up i had before was the 2nd place lineup. I would have won $3,000 if i would have kept my original line-up. So even if it is a bit rigged if you have the same exact lineup as the top 3 you could win. oh yea word of advice always go with the player that has the homecourt advantage. Unless he's Stephen Curry, Lebron James, or Tom Brady. #Great Players
+106Freestylefriday Draft Kings just seems to homemade. I'd much rather use fan duel because of the professionalism. What can I say, Im a man who favors originality.
So you're saying do your homework but then your homework screwed you. That has nothing to do with it. It's all luck if you have a small bankroll and it's guaranteed if you have a large bankroll
That happened to me Sunday I had the right lineup then changed 2 players 10 minutes before the game started and that 2 man switch was the key to me winning and that's what happens to people all the time
+jb0177 Because one has nothing to do with the other. Poker is poker and fantasy sports are fantasy sports. I love poker, and think it should be legal to play online. But it's not. And people bitter about that trying to get fantasy sports criminalized are cutting off their nose to spite their face.
Ive played both fanduel and draftkings enough....my question....is it possible for another player to yank out one of their poorly preforming players with a better one...in mid game? Is this possible?
I love these articles and videos about how it's all rigged. I've been playing dfs for about two months now and find it pretty simple. I'm up around 50 units so far. Here are the dumbest myths about dfs: #1: "The pros enter 500 lineups in tournaments so they have an advantage." I don't know what site you're playing on, but DK and FD both have many different types of tourneys. There are single entry tourneys, 3 entry max tourneys, 20 entry max tourneys, not to mention all the H2H and Double Ups you should be playing if you seriously want to win money. Cash games are a weekly paycheck. Tourneys (GPPs) are a lottery ticket. If you're the guy entering a single lineup into 150 or unlimited lineup tourneys, that's your fault. #2: "The sites are rigged. Fake accounts are used to keep players from winning." This is just a misunderstanding of how dfs sites make money. The common man seems to think dfs sites need the bettor to lose, like it's him vs the house. Dfs sites take a rake from every contest, which means they make the same amount regardless of who wins. If anything, they WANT people to win big and tell all their friends and go on youtube. This will just earn them more money from new players. If no one is winning, no one will play, and they won't take as many rakes. #3: "The pros have all these fancy algorithms and magic software that tells them the correct players" or "The sites are giving away inside information." No one can predict how a game will go before it starts. No one has inside knowledge that the #4 wide receiver will break a few long ones and have the game of his life. That was not pre-planned before the game. The only thing a bettor can do is weigh the vegas odds, the weather, the matchup, and the recent player performances and make an educated guess. There are many free sites that let you do this easily. Hell, most of the top winners give free lineup advice and go over their lineup the day after, so you know why they picked who they picked. It's not a conspiracy. #4: "The pros spend 50 hours a week analyzing and working on their picks." I spend an hour each morning and 15 minutes before the contest starts making sure there are no injuries or news breaks and I do quite well. I've never actually deposited any money into DK. I won a free entry and went from there. Overthinking can be a bad thing. You can talk yourself out of a good pick because 3 years ago there was a trend on the third Sunday of October during a windy day. Just go with your gut. Here's what you should do to win: -Bet within your limits. Don't chase or tilt. Bet the same amount every time. Have a system and tweak it slightly, don't throw it away. -Play mostly H2H, Double Up, 50/50 and any contest that offers the best chance of winning. Stop playing these millionaire makers with a 5% win rate, unless it's just for fun and you have spare cash. -Learn the basics - 5x-6x expected value for NBA, 3x-4x for NFL, betting contrarian, etc, and know enough about the sport to know things like Drew Brees plays better at home and Kemba Walker can't score on the road to save his life. -Stop blaming the site when you lose. You lost because you picked the wrong players. Figure out the players you should have picked and understand why they did better than yours. -Have fun.
TenTonNuke that's not true... Do you not know what the word GREED mean? for every lineuo man they create duplicates. Notice first place is always some guy with no picture that creeps up at the end of every tournament. No matter how great your team dies it's always multiple faceless accounts with that same line up
Correct! DKs duplicates your lineups at lock so its impossible to win any big prizes. They do have bots all over every contest which is 100℅ illegal. I hope the Feds shut it all down soon. Same winners, every night in every contest. Its no coincidence!
Pay attention and you'll see yourself. NBA, NFL, all sports. They are stealing billions! I play everyday and have since June. You will see no pic screen names that are just randomly generated and they arent even in the top 1000 all game long til the end and outta nowhere, boom there they are and win it. Ive scrolled down the entire lists many times and names that won werent even in the games at lock.
I know this video is ok. But a lot people failed to noticed, Fanduel doesn't even show the break even percentage anymore. 50/50 has the worst believe it or not. Play 100 50/50's and you'll have to place in 57 out 100 to break even. It's not worth it
This is simple math. Question #1: How much money in entry fees does Fan Duel and Draft Kings take in? Question #2: What percentage of the entry fees are paid out in winnings? Unless you know these 2 answers, these companies can bilk the entry fees virtually as much as they want. Playing Black Jack with optimum rules pays back 97-102% of the amounts played. You can be sure that all advertising money, all administrative, all salaries are coming out of the entry fee revenues....Does anyone know the answer to #1 and #2????
You can play for as little as a buck. I think they take out 10%? I'm not even sure tho. One head to head it is 10% cause I've won betting 5$ and u get back 9$. It's best to play in a group tho yes u have to beat more ppl but that's the point cause when u do well u want to have more ppls money to win at once
i already told you. They take out 10% in head to head it may be less in tourney or same idk. I know i'm up over 100$ after depositing 25$ If I lose it all it's just having fun. When you deposit it you should expect not to get it back. even if your good. Don't bet what u can't afford to lose
i said it may very some on the big games but in head to head it seems to be 10% I believe in big tourneys its like 15%. I haven't done the math to know exact tho
The scandal that hit Yesterday made me realize I have been getting screwed. I just posted a video on my channel about it. Jesus if this happened in any other business people would be going to jail.
I play hockey on Draft Kings and can normally win pretty good. Made over $300 in profit this season. It's not that hard if you know which players are hot and which ones typically put up good numbers against certain teams.
Entering hundreds of games /linueps each week is how the pros win at daily fantasy because with numerous entries, eventually they're gonna start paying off. Watch any dfs video and you'll hear the guys talk about how they have 300 entries that week. The average joe can win a little bit doing cash games, but ultimately you've got to play a heck of a lot to win a heck of a lot in dfs.
I'm a consistently profitable player on both. And I'm just a guy. This guy is a bitter bad DFS player, who wants to believe it's impossible to beat the game because HE isn't good enough to beat the game.
+Master Seth It depends on whether you're talking about the "cash games" (50/50s, double-ups, and head-to-heads) or the big tournaments. In cash games, I win 60-70% of the time, sometimes a bit more and sometimes a bit less. I've never had a week where I won less than 35% of my cash games, and I've had a few weeks where I won 80%+ of my cash games. In the big tournaments, I make the money about 35% of the time, and finish high enough to make real BIG payouts about 2-3% of the time, which is more than enough to have turned a $2K+ profit on about $200 of initial bankroll..
you have to understand the difference between tournament and league, a tournament play is someone who has the upside of 35 points if costing say around 5 grand, normally he is getting 25 or so but with the matchup and pace of game and extra possessions he will have he can get extra points a league play is someone who is just consistent always hitting in a certain range thats why u have someone like beasley or jj barea dropping 35, i had jj the other night against new orleans they ranked last against pg took my chance
Laura McIntyre Clearly not, since the fantasy sports websites are clearing hundreds of millions in revenue and are fighting supreme court battles for their right to rip people off
Know your Bankroll! If you want to play tournaments and are an average Joe. Start by maxing out .25 cent tournaments! 20 entries is only 5 dollars. You will usually win something back as long as you are not entering the same lineups over and over again! I started this way! Now I moved my way up to maxing out 1 dollar tournaments!
I'm in profit in fan duel. I play 2 or 3 game NFL contests. Like The 4 oclock games only or monday night and thursday night games. Less to have to choose from and easy to place. Sure you only win $10 and $20 at a time but winning is winning in my book.
The craziest thing I saw on Fanduel Basketball was $200 entry (believe it was monster/slam) I only played $25 50/50 late night cashed both times.. But they showed top score.. anyways 1st place was $11k, I went through the first 20 pages.. The winner had 20 entries that I counted, I stopped after page 22-25 I recall. So he/she spent $4k to win $11k, he/she did have 2 other top 50 finishes I recall, I want to say 3-4 total in the top 100.. But that level of spending should just sink in.. I only play smaller slates mainly football..
depends a lot to do w/ the slate. the break even percentage is 55.5 not 50% like most people think.. If you played 100 line ups/entries of that 1 line you would need to hit 55.5 out of 100 to just break even
i would imagine that the group of people who play $1, $5, or $10 have a fair chance of winning, the guys with the super algorithms and cheaters are probably shooting for larger game...
I never win shit!!!! Ever. I'm a season-long fantasy veteran I come in first in almost every fantasy league. I can't win a goddamn ¢ In daily!!! It's all these people claim they win? bullshit
Do what I do to earn some money on Draft Kings, play head to head or 50/50. The big ass tournament's are a waste of cash, like the video say's way to many players and even with a great line up you'll never get that huge pay day everyone want's. In head to head's I have won over $400 in the past 2 years, not a whole lot, but then again I don't pay out $100 dollars a week, and do it for fun, not a pay day. If you want to bet, then go to Vegas and bet on teams, it's much better. At least if you want to earn the big money. Cheers
Personally I see this as rigged I am part of draft Kings and play the weekly free pick em challenge for the NFL I placed 11th and 41st for the first two weeks according to their charts I am supposed to win 500 and 250 for these places but have not seen a dime total scam I even played paid games and of course lost that but the free pick em they said I am not a part of it according to them.
Well....the NFL is game on selling you this product, to invest your money on specific players, only to be told the players don't care about your investment!!!! Sounds good.....sold!!!! NOT......BYE!
Hmm they must not bet on small amounts. On only my second week I just won a "league" with 250 ppl in it. Kicker is tho it only cost 2$ but I still won a 100$ so not bad. I also played in a 2$ one with over 200k ppl in it. My roster didn't win but if I would have used the same roster that I had in the other league I would have won money but I think it was only like 40-60$ can't remember. Either way it's entertaining and fun trying to win. Plus I'm w big sports fan so I give myself a punchers chance anyway
You have to know your sport, that first week of nfl winners want to take a dab at baseball, then basketball is every night.. smh every freaking night basketball.. Nfl is primarly Sunday w/ the exception of mnf a few players play thursday-monday... a lot of player losses come from them trying to cross over to mlb, nba where you need large bank rolls, stats, and they injury report line ups change litterally the last 5minutes... this is where Draft king comes in... fanduel players get screwed look at kevin love injuries last year, player resting, blow outs.. its madness just stick to football
So it's better to gamble and lose than not to gamble at all? This is the creepiest endorsement I've ever heard. Listen to yourself: 91% of the profits were won by 1.3% of players (the sharks). Add to that the Big Fish (uninformed people with money to throw away) make up 5% of players and lose $4000.00 annually. The minnows (you) are 80% of players who lose $10.00 monthly. And to whom? The sharks who quit their day jobs that spend more than 40 hours a week playing THOUSANDS of games with their elaborate computer-generated algorithms TO PREY ON YOU. They make themselves and FanDuel/ DraftKings rich by baiting you to think you'll win. You won't. Maybe at first, but after 3 months, you'll see you're part of the stats above. Be smart and just play for free at Bantasy, All Stars or Yahoo, or play old school AT WORK offline.
It would be very easy for Fanduel to use bots and the winnings go right to their bottom line. That is what scares me as a player. Some with poker sites.
Such a loophole! Any time you wager money to win money it's gambling! Period! So funny. I was one of those guys who lost my "right" to play online poker for real money here in the US, and then I see and hear about ALL THIS Fantasy stuff, with these companies ALREADY worth BILLIONS OF DOLLARS and frankly it just pisses me off! If the US Gov. allows THIS, "FANTASY" then WHY NOT POKER?! JOKE! It's NO FANTASY to WIN OR LOSE $100's even $1,000's of dollars is it?! That's REAL MONEY!!!
+BigIsaacTV But that's the point. Poker shouldn't be classified as gambling. Fantasy sports has less of a skill component than playing poker, yet it's classified as a skill game, and poker as gambling.
Stormie33 Absolutely Stormie! That's exactly my point. The thing about these "out-of-nowhere" BILLION DOLLAR sites now...YES! They are worth BILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!! Think about that for a minute...or two...let that sink in..."FANTASY"....MY ASS!!! The thing is, is that you can wager AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN AFFORD in a SINGLE DRAFT!!! THAT'S where the MAJOR edge comes in! That's precisely why over 98% of the people who play NEVER win! Less than 2% make ALL THE MONEY!!! Talk about "skill"??? All you need is money and you can BUY your win!!
Good job! I have won around 10 grand, It's definitely not rigged, if people can't figure out a way to win, then they are doing something wrong. You aren't going to win every week, it's gambling, it's not supposed to be a walk in the park

Do you have an account on Draftkings by any chance?
+106Freestylefriday Draft Kings just seems to homemade. I'd much rather use fan duel because of the professionalism. What can I say, Im a man who favors originality.
So you're saying do your homework but then your homework screwed you. That has nothing to do with it. It's all luck if you have a small bankroll and it's guaranteed if you have a large bankroll
That happened to me Sunday I had the right lineup then changed 2 players 10 minutes before the game started and that 2 man switch was the key to me winning and that's what happens to people all the time
"It's not rigged" "So even if it is a bit rigged" hmm
Why is online poker illegal, yet this form of gambling is legal?
+jb0177 Because one has nothing to do with the other. Poker is poker and fantasy sports are fantasy sports. I love poker, and think it should be legal to play online. But it's not. And people bitter about that trying to get fantasy sports criminalized are cutting off their nose to spite their face.
jb0177 they're illegal in places that sports gambling is illegal
Online poker has a hand in who wins through the shady RNG at least fantasy sports at it’s core is a result of real players
Call me old school but are there any regular online parlay sites? I would just like to pick my teams and under/over points.
+USNVA LOL no internet gambling changed for good way back in 2006.
+USNVA sportsbook.ag does over/under
Deposited 5$ and ended up withdrawing 33$ so im not complaining
Ive played both fanduel and draftkings enough....my question....is it possible for another player to yank out one of their poorly preforming players with a better one...in mid game? Is this possible?
I love these articles and videos about how it's all rigged. I've been playing dfs for about two months now and find it pretty simple. I'm up around 50 units so far. Here are the dumbest myths about dfs:
#1: "The pros enter 500 lineups in tournaments so they have an advantage." I don't know what site you're playing on, but DK and FD both have many different types of tourneys.
Here's what you should do to win:
-Bet within your limits.
Kevin Durbin how do you know?
Pay attention and you'll see yourself. NBA, NFL, all sports. They are stealing billions! I play everyday and have since June. You will see no pic screen names that are just randomly generated and they arent even in the top 1000 all game long til the end and outta nowhere, boom there they are and win it. Ive scrolled down the entire lists many times and names that won werent even in the games at lock.
MY TEAM WAS GREAT. THEY CHEATED ME. I AM SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THAT 31 PEOPLE HAD THE CHIEFS DEFENSE? GOOD FOR U.
It's best to play in a group tho yes u have to beat more ppl but that's the point cause when u do well u want to have more ppls money to win at once
matt tanner You need to find out how much they pocket. Otherwise, a fool and his money are soon parted.
i already told you. They take out 10% in head to head it may be less in tourney or same idk. I know i'm up over 100$ after depositing 25$ If I lose it all it's just having fun. When you deposit it you should expect not to get it back. even if your good. Don't bet what u can't afford to lose
matt tanner May I know where you got the information that draft kings and fan duel keep exactly only 10% of the money they take in from entries?
i said it may very some on the big games but in head to head it seems to be 10% I believe in big tourneys its like 15%. I haven't done the math to know exact tho
The scandal that hit Yesterday made me realize I have been getting screwed. I just posted a video on my channel about it. Jesus if this happened in any other business people would be going to jail.
What scandal?
shameless plugs. nice one, Matt.
I JUST LOVE HEAREING ALL THE INSIDE BEST LOW PERCENTAGE PICKS.SO SEND THEM TO ME IN HOCKEY AND NFL AND COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
I'm a consistently profitable player on both. And I'm just a guy. This guy is a bitter bad DFS player, who wants to believe it's impossible to beat the game because HE isn't good enough to beat the game.
+Kevin Bailey how much off 1 game typically?
Thanks so much bro I will stay at the sportsbooks.
what sports boook do you recommen?
bovada wont allow me to use my card anymore
It isn't rigged but you must do your homework and their is a little luck involved.
I think this guy is just mad that he hasn't won anything.......
What did Delaware do to you? I've heard things
I don't think it's a scam but just know you have to get lucky.
I wonder if I can just sell algorithms lol.

I feel like it's easier to play and win in small 50-50 leagues. it's not much but technically you are making money if you place top half
+Christian Carlan
Do you have an account on Draftkings by any chance?
depends a lot to do w/ the slate. the break even percentage is 55.5 not 50% like most people think.. If you played 100 line ups/entries of that 1 line you would need to hit 55.5 out of 100 to just break even
😂😂😂 Jayden, Brayden!! Leave Kayden alone...
Fantasy sports is gambling but I have no problem with gambling. It's just funny to me how putting up money to gain more money is not gambling.
Good thing I live in New York
I have a draftkings balance that is difficult to cash out. They make it real easy to deposit money.
It's another way of throwing your collge tuition away by deceptive commercials onTV!!
comparable to stuffing a ballot box
Sadly computers kinda ruined sports betting.
i would imagine that the group of people who play $1, $5, or $10 have a fair chance of winning, the guys with the super algorithms and cheaters are probably shooting for larger game...
Mane , This is some b.s forreal lol I've won 5k this season already on a 5$ bet 20 entry max . Chill .
Yea, but how much have you spent? I BET its more then the 5k you won. Those small match bets add up fast ...
He did all that talking just to promote FanDuel
I never win shit!!!! Ever. I'm a season-long fantasy veteran I come in first in almost every fantasy league. I can't win a goddamn ¢ In daily!!! It's all these people claim they win? bullshit
They're owned by the same people.
I won first place 3 times in first 3 weeks of baseball your wrong bro and third place I won 100 k this year so far
I won $1000
...and invested $50,000?
why dont we just let the people decide with what they want to do with their money. yeah?
Dominate your FanDuel Leagues with the Optimum Lineup for Week 3: www.DailyLineup.Football
Cheers
I suck at it haha
you look like Peyton Manning in this video
They need to limit the number of entries it has nothing to do with skill now it's basically buying the pot now
if you don't have the software that the sharks have Good Luck
its available to everyone....
No different than the lottery but you still try!
Week 1 i won $285 in DraftKings.......the real deal
+amcgill11 just because you are a looser doesnt mean every one is.......i have won over $600........
RIGGED ONLY BOTS WIN....
Battlecam0 i won $300 on a $3 buy in before. I dont think it is rigged. Just pure luck like the lottery.
Perfect
Well my homeboy won $15K BUT I still agree it’s rigged lol
I just won $170 off of my $14. no complaints from me.
That's cause you gave head to that trucker
+AmericanComedyTV
leave your mother out of this.
I win every night in NBA
+Samorah Joseph yeah 20 cent hear a dollar here
Well....the NFL is game on selling you this product, to invest your money on specific players, only to be told the players don't care about your investment!!!!
Plus I'm w big sports fan so I give myself a punchers chance anyway
its gambling its nothing but gambling make poker legal again in U.S.
You have to know your sport, that first week of nfl winners want to take a dab at baseball, then basketball is every night.. smh every freaking night basketball.. Nfl is primarly Sunday w/ the exception of mnf a few players play thursday-monday... a lot of player losses come from them trying to cross over to mlb, nba where you need large bank rolls, stats, and they injury report line ups change litterally the last 5minutes... this is where Draft king comes in... fanduel players get screwed look at kevin love injuries last year, player resting, blow outs.. its madness just stick to football
i won 5000 bucks one week
ironsaaron57 how did you get the money after winning?
So it's better to gamble and lose than not to gamble at all? This is the creepiest endorsement I've ever heard. Listen to yourself: 91% of the profits were won by 1.3% of players (the sharks). Add to that the Big Fish (uninformed people with money to throw away) make up 5% of players and lose $4000.00 annually. The minnows (you) are 80% of players who lose $10.00 monthly. And to whom? The sharks who quit their day jobs
that spend more than 40 hours a week playing THOUSANDS of games with their elaborate computer-generated algorithms TO PREY ON YOU.
Been playing dk for less than a month. I won 2k last night... Its skill and if ur losing u dont get the game
No keep playing so we can keep winning!
It's fun ..... if you like sports and dont play then your missing out on not just the money but the fun in watching the games every sunday.
It would be very easy for Fanduel to use bots and the winnings go right to their bottom line. That is what scares me as a player. Some with poker sites.
I won a tournament 1st out of 5700. What the HELL are you talking about.
still didn't win lol
+Tarrant Zimmerman
Do you have an account on Draftkings by any chance?
Yuppppp why
Because winning money in poker is extremely easy and people could become very rich. It's not like gambling at all.
I won 53,000 dollars last week in NFL fanduel
Good job! I have won around 10 grand, It's definitely not rigged, if people can't figure out a way to win, then they are doing something wrong. You aren't going to win every week, it's gambling, it's not supposed to be a walk in the park
I've won and you can win. You need 500 lineups minimum and you might win half that back. You need MONEY were talking Millions.
Dude, stop gettin mad just cuz you can't win.. won 1200$ on a 3$ bet in NFL season, and other big wins.. so I don't know what you're talking about.
Dorian Sommier how did you get the money after winning? i just started dk
Not suprised only 1% of people are smart enough to actually use statistics and advanced metrics to predict the best players...
I win daily.
