A new I P especially of a company not known that sells over 1 million units is good. More sales will come overtime so it will be successful

They're probably already working on a PC port but, will wait a year or two to release it on steam. The presentation was so weird. They emphasized they wanted to build a new brand and not maximize profit. They weren't sure how many copies have sold. Maybe shipped vs sold but, PS should know this. Really vague timeline. They said it exceeded their expectations but, there's something off.
Bayo 3, a known IP by now, took 2 months to reach a million and that game is stuck on the Switch. Dragon's Dogma 2 was about the same trajectory and it ended up selling 2.5M (on xbox/pc/ps5). I don't think Stellar Blade sold poorly but, their wording is really weird.
We need Evangelion Plug Suits.
I wish we get PlayStation exclusives again, i just got my copy acouple days ago.
Rise Of The Ronin is another PlayStation exclusive that flew under the radar due to all the attention being on Stellar Blade

HZD sold over 3 million units in the same time frame as Stellar Blade. And went on to sell over 24 million units.
It helped that Aloy was a much more fleshed out character. Who actually had a personality. Unlike Eve, who is just a glorified sex doll come to life.

The devs have already stated that it exceeded their expectations which basically means it's bringing in profit so no, not an L. Especially for a new IP from a company that has only done some mobile gacha bullshit.
