The Gears of War books are a great way to get more into the deep lore, and Aspho Fields the first novel is the perfect book to get people into the setting of E-Day as it is set before those events and tells you who Carlos is and how Dom was the tag along originally.

I an on the last two books “Bloodlines”, and “Ephyra Rising”, midway through Bloodlines.

@@2nutgames The first five based on Gears of War 1-3 have been better then the first GOW 4 book but they were also all written by Karen Travis so the consistency and established quality was there , the Bloodlines book has been a step up though from the Ascendance novel.

Late 2025 at the earliest but my guess is they will try to release it in 2026 on the 20th anniversary of gears 1
