I love this. I was in Christianity for 27 years. I became a minister and leader in my church, but it never felt right. I was the most depressed and depleted serving in the religion. Then, in 2020, I had my awakening. I had to leave. I couldn’t be part of something so judgemental and divisive. I always questioned things in the church that didn’t make sense, and it wasn’t received in a good way. I was told to have faith and don’t question God. I’m so glad to be on the other side once you awaken there is no turning back you just don’t see things the same way. ❤I love this show and every single person on here this show helped me understand my spiritual walk and that I wasn’t crazy ❤😂
Do what works for you. It's all part of training for your next level of spirituality... remember to always ask the creator for help... when you're stuck. Spiritual guidance will come with help and signs.
I was thinking about what she said at the end there, that people seem to want to do it themselves instead of with an expert or teacher or guru. But for one thing, there just isn't enough gurus for how many people are waking up right now. And on top of that, who can afford it? Few can. Very few. Even if the guru doesnt charge, they have to have to afford to get to them in the first place. I think that's what channels like this are for. Because I'm in poverty. I'm a stay at home mom. But I'm "waking up", alone, by myself in my apartment every day, because people like Alex and Asha who are teaching me (even though they dont know me).
My younger sister (she is 76 now)and her husband are and have been followers of Yogananda since the 1960’s. She lived and did TM in Fairfield, Iowa. Her husband teaches Transcendental Meditation. They continue to follow his teachings & TM. I ( am 79 now)took a different path but have ended up a Shaman, Healer, Clairvoyant … to me both are in the same vein of self-realization. We all should honor one another’s path. I honor your and their paths🙏🏼💙🥰🧘🏻🪷

We need to say that now we hear we don’t have to go down those roads. We can choose. We can create a better ending. Fear is not the way to see anything.

Excellent segment. I too came from a Christian background, I loved "my Jesus", but there seemed too many "holes" in His story. When I learned about Jesus' travels into India and possibly parts of the East, I was hooked! Even the story of the "Three Wise Men" made more sense that they were from India, and it does sound very plausible. Once again, great segment. Continued blessings and success!
Like the "hole" in Asha's view on Christians community after Jesus? What about 12 Apostles who were passing on the teachings? How about Christians going into arena singing before being killed by lions? Were they hiding in the caves as Asha stated, or she is not aware of the above?
We have an amazing opportunity to be our own guru. We are always searching for something outside of ourselves but everything is within us. Personally I feel “I AM” that’s it. I’m not a religion. I’m not spiritual. I am everything. We tend to break out of one box and put ourselves in another box. Such a lovely lady and what an interesting interview, however I have to disagree with her on the world getting more traumatic. My intuition is that it will be a roller coaster but it will be short lived waves of changes, giving people the chance to acclimatise to the new consciousness. Humanity is far too traumatised to be traumatised even more when in essence we are in a period of time when we are purifying/cleansing our systems/lives. It would seem nonsensical to accrue more pain and trauma. I think the changes and waves are more fluid and less traumatic and humanity can always make changes for the good as we are creators.

However - am I the only one who is feeling uncomfortable with the irony of celebrating the wisdom coming to the US from India while the teachings of the Native American elders were being suppressed and derided and their rich culture and wisdom was all but wiped out? I love your podcast Alex and maybe I have missed the ones featuring Native American elders - but if not, where are they?
Alex, yes I am a "recovering Catholic", but studied for the Catholic priesthood from age 14 to 18...later married, joined SRF in 1985....still on this same path. But also trying to organize or join an Eco- Community...there's a topic for you to explore.

Many of them disillusioned Catholics. Saint Francis taught thru Richard Rohr and other Christian mystics helped me find my truth. And yes to Yogananda! I’ve fallen in love with him too. Thankyou for this interview. Which also showed the importance of the presents on this earth of the Kriyananda-path ( which seemed to be in conflict with SRF).Yogananda knew that importance; otherwise he would not have allowed him to be for a while in an important place at the SRF.

However - am I the only one who is feeling uncomfortable with the irony of celebrating the wisdom coming to the US from India while the teachings of the Native American elders were being suppressed and derided and their rich culture and wisdom was all but wiped out? I love your podcast Alex and maybe I have missed the ones featuring Native American elders - but if not, where are they?

Alex, yes I am a "recovering Catholic", but studied for the Catholic priesthood from age 14 to 18...later married, joined SRF in 1985....still on this same path. But also trying to organize or join an Eco- Community...there's a topic for you to explore.

One of my favorite episodes. Infinite love and gratitude. So many wonderful people are at various stages of awakening. Lots of struggle, but many are now starting to choose to seek their own truth. Many of them disillusioned Catholics. Saint Francis taught thru Richard Rohr and other Christian mystics helped me find my truth. And yes to Yogananda! I’ve fallen in love with him too. And now David Bohm.

Thankyou for this interview. Which also showed the importance of the presents on this earth of the Kriyananda-path ( which seemed to be in conflict with SRF).Yogananda knew that importance; otherwise he would not have allowed him to be for a while in an important place at the SRF.
