    Cadillac makes some of the smoothest vehicles I have ever seen and tends to attract a unique clientele. Unlike Mercedes, BMW and Lexus which attracts the typical suit that is usually the dumbest driver on the road.

      Better off buying a Chevy Tahoe all the Escalade is a Tahoe with a Cadillac Logo on it. The interior and exterior on the Tahoe doesn't change to the Escalade. The only difference is the bigger price tag. $50,000 for a Tahoe LTZ and $83,000 for a fully loaded Escalade. They are the same damn car. GM SUCKS!!!!!!!! all there vehicles are like that.

      Cadillac was around longer than Chevy so when people say that it's basically a Tahoe with a Cadillac logo on it it's not because it was made first and there are tons of differences between the two don't get me wrong I love the Tahoe though but I'd rather spend my money on Cadillac than a Tahoe +KJ JJ

      Martin Dennis - I will never grasp why people name-call the Cadillac Escalade a "glorified Chevrolet Tahoe" when most of an Escalade DNA is found under a Yukon-Denali structural: same engine bay, same headlamps shape, same transmission, same wheels and chrome, same standard magnetic ride control, same body style, and chrome. It is a Yukon-Denali if it is anything but.

    The new GMC Yukon Denali has everything this new Escalade has. Even if I had the money to get the new Escalade, I would save some money and go with the new 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. Cadillac could have done more to make the Escalade worth the money. And these taillights remind me of a Volvo. Heck, the Escalade from outside looks like a more expensive Terrain from outside, and from inside, it looks like a more expensive SRX. I don't have a problem with the column shifter, though. I like how they stuck with the 6.2 and didn't offer a twin-turbo V6 unlike Lincoln.

    I still dont understand how GM can sell the same Vehicle 3 different times with the Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Suburban, and GMC Denali. Just the fact that the Escalade shares the same wheel base as 2 cheaper options kills my interest.

      Actually GM's large and luxury SUV numbers together would be around 40,000 units a month. For comparison M-B has averaged 26,000 units per month this year and BMW is at 24,000. Based on that GM's full size SUVs would beat both of them. In a strong month they might beat both of them together.

    • @InWithJoshHen
      @InWithJoshHen 11 лет назад +2

      ***** I can better accept, and appreciate Bentley, and Porsche sharing skeletons. Though they are sharing platforms, they add much more to the vehicle that make it unique. But GM just swaps out engines and slap different badges on and call it a day.

      @mybro727 6 лет назад

      Joshua Henry have you ever driven a Tahoe and then drove the new Escalade? Both are nice trucks and obviously share similarities but they’re definitely not the same vehicle. Cadillac brings a different feel to the truck inside and out, a feel and vibe you won’t quite get even from the Premier Tahoe. Also the difference in pricing is the reason they all sale good also.

    I don't know what makes that interior so great and new, the SRX already has the exact same looking dash and interior. However it is nice and even though the Tahoe and Yukon are on the same platform the trim/body does have differences and if you don't already know, body kits/trim is not cheap on cars so you are paying more for what you are getting

    • @chigasaki06
      @chigasaki06 11 лет назад

      I agree. I think the interior of each model of a line-up should be distinct b/c every car has a different personality. Even if they keep the touch screen, they should change the design accordingly. Of course, there's nothing with having a corporate theme, but like you said, an ATS should have the same dash as an Escalade. Other than that, I like it.

    I plan on buying this vehicle. It's much bigger than the 07-2014 model. There is an EXT version on the way but I prefer the 4 wheel drive of this vehicle. This is an SUV no wagon at all. This is a nice vehicle that's loaded in chrome. "IT'S SO HOT EVEN THE WINDSHIELD FLUID IS RED" Of course I'm not spending $80,000+ for it. I'll just wait to get it when someone has around 30,000 miles . So for around $50,000 I'll pay.

    Looks like Cadillac put Amber turn signals in the back, first time having those in an Escalade. Many people like the Escalade with red turn signals, since that's what Cadillac has been known for. I guess German luxury vehicles replace their amber turn signals with red ones, now that Cadillac has to put amber ones.

    • @chigasaki06
