The AFM system sucks they mess up the cylinder number 4,lifters camshaft valves and pushrod Cadillac really f-ucked with that system
I know I didn’t even wanted to start on that crap. I’ll make another video about the stuff that mechanically is bs
@@critter9773 I have the 2016 Escalade esv premium just paid $9k and only have the the Escalade for 4 months the dealer I bought it from they told me they couldn’t do anything about so I took it to the Cadillac dealer and fix it but it hurts my pocket that’s the only thing I hate about the Escalade just the AFM bullcrap other than that to be honest I love these suvs
You bought the 2016 Escalade for 9k?

@@critter9773 no I bought it for $29500 with 119k miles but after 2 months it had a cylinder 4 misfire took it to the Cadillac dealer and they told me everything that was wrong with it it came out to $9k so basically I paid for $39k
Wow that sucks. My car is going to need the same job because it started making a little noise. But I’m going to do the labor myself, it will cost me just for parts lifters and gaskets and camshafts

I have the 2017 model for this car and I keep having a rough idle, took it to Cadillac for check up they changed the vacuum pump, spark plugs and did throttle body service, but I am still having the rough idle! Does yours do that too?
Yeah sometimes but I just ignore it
I think it’s the system than convert it to 4 and 8 cyl the fuel saving thing (AFM). I have couple of friends that they own the same kind of car and they all do the same
