I have no clue how it ended and I got screwed out of the final rewards.. So I didn't even get to enjoy the climax of the story. I still have no clue what the hell the School of Sapianism had anything to do with the Nier Automata universe so that whole storyline left me confused as heck.
In regards to PGR, I never expected such smoothness in a phone game But "compared to the actual NieR Automata" Automata is specialized in these characters with a lot more fluidity and a different combat system that supports them, that's why they feel clunky here "in comparison" However, when I played Alpha and Lucia in PGR, they felt more smooth than the Automata team because they're made for PGR Hope that answers your question, it's mostly a matter of porting from different mechanics.
