    Of course we gotta have the King of Cruising Jack to demonstrate the concepts xD

      Totally!! His riding speaks for itself, so much so that we decided to make this video after watching these clips 😁

    Great tips. Helps take away some of the mystique of riding them around campus or town

    the one thing I don't like about freeskate is the need to stop for curbs and stairs. inline skate I just jump on/off and it does not kill the flow.

      Yeah, definitely tradeoffs for everything! The other parts of it are what make it a uniquely fun option 😁

    I hope you and Jack make a tutorial about reverse pumping, which is the most unique and essential of cruising skills for those around pedestrians. 2:16

    It's insane how good he is. I can cruise around my campus, but it's extremely hilly and I can't powerslide, so I need wide stretch of road.

      Now that I can go around campus, I've gotten complacent, and haven't learned anything new.

      If you ever find the time to learn extra stuff, great! I hope you’re having fun at your current skill level regardless 😊

    Please remember to bend your knees!!! Been free skating for ten years and had my first injury the other day bc I got sloppy about that and dislocated/fractured my elbow 😢

    Which better the old or the new edge ?? And why ?? Im so confuse to which one to pick

    • @jmkride
      @jmkride  9 месяцев назад

      Our new edge guards are our best ones! They’re a lot more durable, great for throws, and the only model we’re moving forward with 👍

    Did Jack hit a rock, or was it a small gap/join in the concrete? Those joins are my enemies when I'm out.
    Edit: Thank you for these videos!

      Since the pavement/cracks seemed pretty consistent in that area, I believe it was a rock just from looking at the footage! Yeah, cracks will get ya sometimes. Best to bend those knees, be mindful of the terrain, and sorta force your skate over the cracks you're unsure of, to give it a little bit more speed 👍
