    I have been searching RUclips for a while now and belong to a lot of goat channel’s and I can say that your channel by far is the best. I have learned so much for you and not just about goats. I love that you are a beautiful woman of faith and how amazing you are as a wife and mother and I can’t wait to show my husband your videos and have him build me a milking setup like yours. So thank you so much for sharing with us. May God bless you and your family and keep you safe Amen 💯❤️🙏

    I watched a few videos on how people use breast pumps to use on their goats ! I’m gonna set up a two goat station and I’m Looking around for another breast pump so I can do two goats at once! Instead of the bottle use a syringe the size of the goats teet and put the other end to the silicone hose

      Delci • A Life of Heritage I still remember one of your earlier videos where you were trying to milk without any milk stand at all. I’ve told my husband we need to make one for the babies that we can adjust as they get a little bigger. We can get them used to it and start trimming hooves while they eat. Their first trim was with him holding them while I trimmed. It’s amazing how quickly you fall in love with these creatures of God. He surely loves us! I’m not sure about the biting insects but I figure we probably have sin that accounts for those.

    Hi Delci! Love this idea, especially the cabinets to hide things in. I’m wondering about temperature and the shelf life of the medications? We are in East Texas, will it be too hot to keep the medications in my barn?
    We are just getting started and will be bring 3 little doelings home soon. 2 born in February and 1 in April. How old do you recommend breeding for first time?

    • @DelcifromALifeofHeritage
      @DelcifromALifeofHeritage  4 года назад +1

      You will need to get a fridge. And I will too! I'm getting this fridge: amzn.to/3hQWBkh It will keep my stuff from freezing in our cold, cold winters and it will keep yours cool in your hot summers.
      And how exciting for you! Most wait until their second year to breed but if they are big enough (depending on the breed) they can be bred their first year. They just need to be big enough to handle the pregnancy and mature enough to not have issues at birth.

    how do you tell if you have copper deficiency in your yard or dirt for goats ?
    how do you tell if your goats need selenium, zinc, copper, calcium, phosphorus, from you dirt on your piece of land that you live on ?

    • @DelcifromALifeofHeritage
      @DelcifromALifeofHeritage  4 года назад

      Hi Ashlee 😊
      I would start by going to your local extension office if you can or your local feed store may also know and ask them if your area is deficient.
      And then watch your goats for signs of deficiency.
      Under my goat mineral video there’s a link under it that will talk about deficiencies to look for 😊
