We took our out yesterday for the first time. It sure seems to want to tip a hell of a lot more than the other buggies we have had in the past. It almost seems top-heavy or something.

It’s all the glass up top. You need a 4+3 rim and 32s then add the rear shocks to your sway bar.

That xp general is still my favorite for what it is.

Seemed like a great machine. Very basic but capable and fun

Did you ever try disconnecting the sway bar on your Defender? I think I’m gonna try it next spring. It’s snow tracks season now! I removed the sway bar off of my Maverick Sport XRC, it was night and day. A bit more body roll tho.

have a 2024 Polaris Xpedition XP 5 -- WAY TO NOISY - revs too high - apparently according to Polaris customer service - their engineering is DILIGENTLY working on a fix-- I REGRET MY PURCHASE - this is probably due to improper gearing (too LOW) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE AT ALL - Please note that there have been HUNDREDS of complaints about this problem and POLARIS is dragging their feet - PS - I have added sound barrier to area behind and under the seats and on the firewall in the engine bay - this helped the noise a bit but the HIGH revs are UNPLEASANT to say the least - OK if you have earplugs or you are hard of hearing - otherwise PASS PS I traded in my 2021 Polaris General and regret it - also the ADV is even nosier that the one with the dump box PS - you have to take off the rear skid plate to get at the oil filter - ridiculous

Have you been able to come up with a fix for the noise? That's is the one thing that is holding me up on purchasing. Have you done any soundmat? Comfort belt? Thanks

@@joshcasey5139 Yes - i have - - noise barrier on the firewall (two layers heat resistant) engine bay firewall - 1/4" closed foam behind and under the rear seat, 3/4 inch solid rubber floor mats front and rear in the foot wells (cut to exact profile of the foot wells), 32 " tires, hunterworks belt, AND - clutch kit installed by Polaris dealer (available at no cost from Polaris -- Reduces rpm by about 800 rpm - much QUIETER now
