- Suzuki GSX 8S review. The best motorcycle for new riders? I do believe you have to consider this bike if you are new to riding and just passed your test Theo would be a great bike to start with. It is fast enough and loads of fun.
Thanks to Bolton Motorcycles for letting me take this out for a little play.
Thanks to @OxfordProductsLtd as always for keeping me warm

I agree with you that the blue paint is very pretty - nicer than the white option, I think. BTW, the stacked headlights are already LED, like the bigger Suzukis.
If it’s like my GSX-S1000GT (and also the naked version), then A mode is the most aggressive 😀 also, like the other comment stated, TC1 is the least intrusive without it being switched off. TC5 the most intervention (good for cold wet winter day)
Cheers. I think I was mis-informed by the garage.
Love it tempting to have a go on one
You should go and try one. It may end up costing you £8000 if you do though. 😎
@@GillyBikes I’ve still got my 99 Busa in the garage don’t think wife would be happy with a new purchase! Really like the look of it though!
Compared to yours this is tiny. You should go and try one though. Loads of fun.
I like it a lot ! Thanks for the clip . The only downside is the backend does not have an integrated brake light into the seat (fixable) ,and the stock sound is not the best ( also fixable ) . I just might buy it , it has good reviews also . I was wondering how it compares to the GSX - S950 !? Can't find anything online yet . Thanks !
Its a nice bike. I’ve not ridden the 950 but I did own the 750 and it seems to be very similar to that but a little bit better.
I think the license plates on motorcycles in UK are dangerous because if the wind hit them you may end up into a ditch.
They are quiet big but they don’t seem to be affected by wind. They just look bad.
😂😅
Just a heads up. Youve got your modes mixed up. Tc 3 is strongest and SDMS C is the calmest power.
Thanks for the heads up. In my defence though when I was given the bike I was told it was all in its lowest settings as it was being ran in. I never changed them.
@GILLYBIKES no worries. Just thought I should let you as you'll let someone loose on it with all the throttle response and barely any traction control intervention.
Absolutely I am grateful. Thanks.
It’s a nice looking bike that. I think I prefer the MT09 though.
Looks are always a personal thing. It’s a nice bike to look at and ride. I can see it being a really good seller.
wait for Bangladesh new bike ❤❤❤❤🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
? What is it?
if the quickshifter is a bit rough, it might smoothen out after some use. maybe 500km of use? just something i've heard though so don't quote me on that :D
I’ve heard a few say the same. Hopefully they do 👍
❤❤❤❤❤
I love the blue. Not a fan of the clunky quick shifter though
My thoughts exactly. The quick shifter works but it’s not very smooth. The Yamaha one is much better.
Its a brand new bike - once things bed in the quick shifter should become smoother.
Suzuki finely got someone with a bit of taste to design this bike , before this they’ve been using Stevie Wonder for the last 20 years.
I think is too much for a new rider but excelent test....
Dog Control Enforcement Unit!!!!!!!!! What's that?
😂 I thought the same thing. 😂
Don't like it, seat too high for my short legs,,,as always,,,colour scheme too busy with an awful plastic pointed front end...Give me a Yamaha all day long...Sorry if I sound negative..Andre..Thank you..
I hear what your saying. Looks wise everyone will have their own opinion on what they like. Personally for me when I first seen it I really didn’t like the front end in particular the lights but it’s grown on me. I also don’t think the video does the colour justice. It looks much nicer in person.
Not good enough for seasoned riders ?
Yes it is. It’s good for experienced and new riders.
@@GillyBikes does that category exist ? For new and experienced riders the same bike ? ! Somebody will be over somebody underqualified here
Lowest power setting for new riders. Highest for experienced 😉
@@GillyBikes oh you mean the permanent electronic restriction for people with learner licences
