Tried lots of bikes including gsx8, hornet, trident, 850gs and cb650r. They are all great bikes some more powerful than others hornet has bonkers power, but in the finish I bought gsx8 in white as it fits me like a glove and i don’t regret my choice for 1 minute. Test ride one and you’ll see just how good it is.
It's a great bike...I love it! thanks for watching
Does the gsx8-s feel like it has a lot more power than the cb650r and the trident?
@@clubstyleridahd4695 Oh yes much more grunt and guts...it's a wonderful engine
Great review. Just bought one on the weekend ( blue ) looking forward to taking her out. Thank
It is certainly the best Suzuki have produced in a long while....thanks for watching
I thought you'd like the 8S ,Lofty. I rode it back to back with the Hornet. Yes, it's roomier, smoother, with an excellent quick shifter and less cluttered TFT screen. More than that, its usable torque made it a clear winner for me. It didn't corner as quick as the Hornet but it did feel more planted on the road. If there was a GT version with a half decent screen, I'd have one tomorrow! Only gripe is the silly money that Suzuki want for a USB socket (£46) and LED blinkers (£236)...both should be standard equipment. (PS Jane's the wife).
I loved it Jane 😁 But I prefered th Transalp to the 800DE though.....thanks for watching🥰
Great Bike very manageable yet plenty of power even on the highway. Quick shift down took some getting used to for me- turns out you have to preload the lever. 100 miles into mine I find it perfect.
QS up the box throttle on
AB down the box throttle off
Suzuki make beautiful shifers......thanks for watching
Nice review. Still waiting for them to come to the US. Good to see you using the quickshifter a lot of the time, many reviewers don’t use it. Seems that some 8S quickshifters work better than others in the reviews I’ve seen. I hope Suzuki remedy that issue.
Thanks for watchong.....I generally find Suzuki QS's very good
Test ride on thursday Lofty 🙂, looks great but think I prefer the blue un
Me too Ade, thanks for watching
Saw a blue one yesterday on road lovely looking bike looks like Suzuki will have a big seller Bandit SV and now this well done to the Big S!
Thanks for watching...........love the 8s
Thanks for your enthusiastic review! It is a great bike!
Thank you glad you enjoyed it

Bloody well right to say

Thanks for watching
I am a bit of a suzuki fan boy... their gearboxes have always felt silky to me, their ability to hold a line on long sweeping corners while making, ahem, exciting progress and fun per £ has always hit the sweet spot. I do like the gsx 8s but the seat extends partly onto the side of the tank and just enough to distract me.... plus it is a sensible bike, a bike my head tells me to buy... but as the last few years of riding left to me make me want fun over sensibility I have counted it out. It IS better than the hornet although the price is increased by having a quickshifter as standard as opposed to being an optional extra I neither want nor need. It is probably worth the £1000 expense over the honda (I've seen it selling for close to the honda price to try to get sales) but... the hornet offers so much more fun, the hornet is the bike Yamaha should have released as the 2021 mt07 (mt07.5?? ). The MT07 and the MT09 remind me a lot of my old 250 lc, 350 lc and RD400 bikes, wobbly frames, wooden brakes, occasional tank slappers, nervous handling and so much fun that nothing else mattered. It is tough making a decision when choosing a bike. The suzuki would probably lap the hornet around a track, but I think the hornet rider would be having so much fun he/ she wouldn't care.
Yes maybe...but I find the Hornet small and cramped..the Suzie is a proper bike......thanks for watching
Love your review sir
Love from Pakistan
I am the biggest fan of Suzuki gsx s8 i want to buy but in Pakistan 😢
It's a wonderful motorcycle...thanks for watching
He sold me this bike is a winner.
thanks for watching
The bike looks like a toy with you on it. Personally, I preferred the Hornet. More power, faster steering and a great package. For the price you pay for the Gs8 you can do a deal on the Z900 which is altogether a better bike
Thanks for watching.... the GSX 8s is a far bigger bike than the Hornet with much more grunt, less top end...... the Z9 review live on 21st July
In that color, the 8s looks very much like the old Katana, from back in the '80's.
in the white or blue it looks ace.....thanks for watching
Think you meant "emasculated" with Euro 5 😀
Thanks for watching..........Euro 6 next🥲😪😪
ты слишком огромный для этого комара😁
Cheers Frankie...what ever you said😉
