I feel it is possible because nobody haven't done deeper development in terms of supersonic planes being more efficient and quiter..Props to boom and NASA for taking another important mission!!
The concorde was an idea admittedly too ahead of its time. In a half century, aviation technology has improved dramatically, and it is now feasible to make such an aircraft economical
I would be less skeptical if there was sometime on the screen other tham CG. You know actual people doing actual stuff with CNC tools, laying up carbon fibre components and pusing them into the big autoclave etc. What's the word I am looking for.....oh yes reality.

I'm not an engineer by any means. I barely made it thru highschool. Now, having said that, Sud-Aviation came up with the commercial supersonic concept around 1960...la Super Caravelle. Then they joined forces with the limeys of BAC. There you have the "concordance"... Nineteen freaking sixty! And of course, the fixed sinusoidal delta wing is the best they could get in those days' technology budget. Does it have to be mention the high drag/low lift ratio at low speed? visibility in the cockpit will be an issue, not sure how they can solve that but hopefully not the concorde way😅. even with the best of the best avionics you still need a visual to land, some sort of glass is the only way i see possible
Im surprised supersonic plane isnt more popular. The fact that the rich are so much richer than in the past and they value time so much more than in the past.
The Concorde could only travel at supersonic speeds over the Atlantic ocean due to the sonic boom - Has The Overture solved this problem yet so its can fly over land at these speeds? 🤔🤔🤔
It will be a long long way up but imagine being able to cut transpacific /Atlantic flight time, making a jet that has a safe flight record / reproducibility and keeping prices competitive. I'd bet alot of money on that, I do wish them success but unlikely will get to fly one in my life time.
Boom aircraft will probably fly flights between major hub airports, where many airlines still use some quad engine jets or like Emirates where half their fleet is a380s (quad engine). So in major hub airports, quad engine jets will still be allowed for at least decade, if not more.
I guess I got this recommendation because I am watching Boeing news. Guess what kind of news... If it gets built, it'll be the first supersonic in history built entirely by accountants.
