Actually, there are LOTS of problems in Flipaclip, like the lack of brushes and of the stabilizer. I mean, it is great, but it is really simple. I’d rather use Krita or export tons of png. files drawn on another programs (like MediBang, that is free) and export to a video editing program like Blender
I use Krita. The large variety of brushes makes it really simple to create textures for you backgrounds, like if you want to add grass, clouds, water lines, a frickin mountain, etc, there's a brush for that. It works good for short animations, too.
I love krita as a drawing software. Though with the animation software I find the whole frame system so time consuming to use. Also the layers in the animation section of krita are weird
as a regular Krita user, I haven't tried the animation feature but I'm going to try it because if I'm going to be able to animate with the same program I use for drawing regularly, I will be very happy
@@Deepxxosorry this is my other account but, I don’t know that sorry :( I have a drawing tablet specifically for connecting to computer. It’s an XP Pen Artist 12, my first and only one! It’s really nice :)

Most of the big animators and artists I tend to see use Paint Tool Sai or Photoshop and Toonboom or Adobe Animate, but I'm only animating as a hobby, I'm not getting money from it so I can't really afford those. This video just lays everything out for you and shows how each of these apps compare to Adobe. Honestly I was a little shocked by how much they can do. Spine (the 60 bucks version), Sprite (maybe pre-order the Spriter 2, is quite promising), Moho (the cheap version, is VERY powerful). I'd go for those. That said. Someone with MOUNTAINS of patience (hello!) can do 100% professional animation with Blender, or PAP, or Synfig (or even combinations of those, if are nerdy enough). But you really need to be tough and patient. The reward is amazing. But, if prefer go for a perpetual license of 60 bucks rather than free and time consuming, those above are quite good deals (like Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, ClipStudio Paint kind of deals). Very focused on games (bones, morphing, reusing parts of a same character, libraries of symbols, game engines export), while and am a huge defender of fully drawing and fully animating, not using bones and not abusing too much the tweening. You learn a A LOT more by fully drawing and fully animating (nothing is better than Disney's old stuff and the like, and those were made only with pen and paper. At least now u don't have to damage ur eyes with a bulb, the computer is good for that. Actually screens do heavily produce tired eyesight - trust me on this one!- but is a huge improvement in that matter compared to even a professional bulb). Consider that often those pro versions (usually one at 60, another at 300 bucks, is almost a market established thing... Cacani is an exception, 200 per year, or 17 per month, or 500 perpetual license. Imo only the perpetual makes sense (unless already getting strong clients, and project to be done in less than one year). You have full functional non expiring trial. But... 500 bucks is WAY too expensive.) are often mostly adding game engines exports, as there's where they can make more money. Just...the free or cheaper versions are often *way enough* for everyone else. Sometimes, even for games, as if not needed a game engine connection, a 640x480 export is way more than enough for a character sprite export. For animation in general such resolution limit for the whole frame is a no-way. So, it depends on what limitations are set for the cheapo version in each case. For pure animation, frame by frame, is not like you need anything else than PAP + Opentoonz, IMO. Maybe Synfig for more vector based stuff. Maybe Blender's 2D new capabilities or its 3D + toon render for the nerdy types.
Hey brad! i just wated to let you know that there's a *new* animation software thing called Wick Editor. It has symbols, tweening, video exports, a built in vcam, and it also has a code editor.

@@3polygons thnks man!, i will check it out for Moho... its a fair price
Best free animation apps for Android would be cool. Thanks for all the great stuff.
Hey brad! i just wated to let you know that there's a *new* animation software thing called Wick Editor. It has symbols, tweening, video exports, a built in vcam, and it also has a code editor.

@@dyasteen_1788 you can m8. go into view (i think) and press onion skin mode, every layer will be a frame, but you can use folders as frames too.
@@dyasteen_1788 you can animate on Fire but its a bit weird :/
Starting with pencil 2D to opentoonz, these look sick apps. Easy to use and getting all the basic work done. Thanks for introducing and explaining
2:29 this is when it starts
I liked your video because you are not boring
I can't use these because I'm using an iPad and not some Mac or PC. Sad life for iPad users. 📱 🖊️
Flipaclip has updated ...

@@gia_the_gamergirl4130 flipaclip is actually cool
