I just came from seeing it and have to say I’ve seen a ton of shows, a lot of jukebox musicals, and seriously never felt so much energy on stage and in the audience! Every song gave me chills! Saw it with understudy Aramie Peyton, and his Broadway debut was stellar!
@@j4m3sg the main guy myles frost is AMAZING. He has Michael’s in him esp when he’s speaking dialogue and the saddest eyes. Aramie was wonderful with a lot of pop. I saw them both and can say go again until you get to see Myles.
I've seen the show 5 times (so far). Twice with Aramie and the rest with Myles. Honestly, both are amazing in the role of MJ. But the standout for me is Tavon Olds-Sample as the teen Michael. That kid channels Michael Jackson. So much talent on that stage.
As a MJ fan and Broadway fan, this show is the best one I've seen in awhile and is now my favorite musical!!! It's not your typical MJ tribute that just copy Michael's dance routines... It's all original MJ inspired routines but it's enough to be truly appreciated as Broadway choreography.
CRIED A FEW TIMES, AND ABSOLUTELY STUNNED BY HOW AMAZING THIS IS. WE WATCHED IT TWICE AND ALREADY PLAN TO RETURN IN THE FUTURE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. MYLES AND THE CAST TALENT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The dynamic backdrop + insanely detailed outfits are also chef kiss!
@@tyrizzo1 it’s a complete plot. Would compare it to The Jacksons an American Dream. Except this time it’s told through the eyes of MJ - and it’s during rehearsals of his dangerous tour. It’s super well paced and the story is interwoven throughout. NOT a typical tribute musical at all. Much more like a movie.
I’m not much of a jukebox musical fan just because it’s been so out done lately but this actually looks awesome! I grew up w MJ’s music so I would definitely love to see this!
This is the Last thing you see... The experience starts from the moment you enter the Theater to the time you leave. It ALL matters! To simply say "this is the freaking curtain call" is to diminish the work that the creators put forth. If it is lackluster, then it is just that. You HAVE to be stellar from beginning to end 8 shows a week, to make it last on Broadway.
@@Recorderman1 I disagree. This comment was not meant to diminish the work of the creators. It was a response to people saying the show looks terrible based on this recorded version of the curtain call. Take it whatever way you wish. Not here to argue. =)
Looks like fun being in a theatre with other MJ fans celebrating his music. The energy must be great. A nice tribute. I was lucky to see Michael back in the 80's , twice in London and once in Cork, Ireland for the BAD Tour 🙂 We miss you Michael
This was awesome!!! I could see them doing this at the next Macy Days Parade !!! This is fantastic !!!! To all the members of the cast of this musical.Awesome Job!!! ❤❤❤❤

Just saw the show three times last week! Will head back to NYC for Jon Batiste’s postponed Carnegie Hall show and will likely go again. I absolutely love it! Aramie was SPECTACULAR as was Tavon! Hope to see Myles as well but will support whoever is in the cast onstage that night.
Does anyone else find funny that they used Jam, WBSS and WDAN for the curtain call knowing those 3 songs were used as the opening of new stages of the concerts if not as a the opening of the concerts themselves in Michael's tours?
You LOVED it with the understudy, but you were sad because?....you were expecting miles,...but still loved the understudy.....i hope you get to compare one day 😊 ....so you won't feel like you missed anything! MJ fan forever #team Aramie😍🥰💕
I’ve seen the curtain call from so many different performances and I just now realized that they repeat “if you’re thinking about being my baby.” twice instead of “if you’re thinking about my baby.” Being used for the first one.
It’s worth it. The musical is not a tribute but an actual drama with a plot and deep story. Can’t wait to see it again. Was genuinely moving and shocking in the best way
@@royperez8965 The musical doesn’t go all the way to his later years and death. As for his innocence, it was proven over a rigorous trial in court. It doesn’t need to be a part of his legacy.
What the hell is this!?!? No but for real is this the rehearsal I know this is not part of the show. The production look whack where the extravagant costumes this is generic for it to have MJ name on it
It’s the curtain call they are just preforming extra out of a character. The show was really good I definitely recommend watching it before judging on a small clip of not the show 😆

Went to see the show today and all I have to say is that it was AMAZING! Great job. We loved every minute of it!
Mj had a unique singing voice. Some of his songs I don't think anybody could cover well. They were definitely meant for himself to sing.

Looks cool though is this show meant to be historically accurate?
I work backstage in the show - it’s DEF accurate. set in 1992.
how did they present the child molestation scene?
There was nothing involving the allegations in the show. This is a show celebrating Michael as an artist and person.
Allegations PROVEN false time n again, accusers proven liars, purgers, with million $ lawsuits, but some minds will always stay in the gutter.
