I remember learning all this back in 2019 when I tried to learn Russian. Lost touch with the language for whatever reason but really got back into it back in March or so. Certainly remember being surprised then that I could still read Cyrillic and that it had stuck with me, especially since I was still in school in 2019 and having to learn German. in my opinion the problem resides in trying to learn a language by reading, you are meant to learn the language by hearing, and remembering how each word is supposed to be written, take the example of spanish, most spanish native speakers has a problen chosing when to use b or v, cause there is no relation in the sound. so the only way is to remember how its written, moreover, many times, people uses the sound of B in words that are written with V causing more problem. many people even have problem, cause in some parts of south america, there is no real difference in how Y and LL are pronounced in many words, then many times they write them wrong.

Spanish is my first language, and english is second. I got intrigued and wanted to learn a new language and decided to go with russian seems like a cool language to learn this or german
Russian is way cooler that German (but I might be a little biased since I am Russian 😆)

хлеб means bread
hardest for me to pronounce is when there's a bl in there. and I still don't understand when O is pronounce A and E is pronounced Je or E
This cheatsheet may help you with O / A www.clearrussian.com/cheat-sheet/
in my opinion the problem resides in trying to learn a language by reading, you are meant to learn the language by hearing, and remembering how each word is supposed to be written, take the example of spanish, most spanish native speakers has a problen chosing when to use b or v, cause there is no relation in the sound. so the only way is to remember how its written, moreover, many times, people uses the sound of B in words that are written with V causing more problem. many people even have problem, cause in some parts of south america, there is no real difference in how Y and LL are pronounced in many words, then many times they write them wrong.
Esta genial peeo no puedo ver asi que tratare que los sonidos se queden asi no los asocie a imagenes

Hey, guys, I'm russian and I'm learning English now. I find somebody who can help me to lear english and i also can help you to learn russian. We can practicize together. Surely, I prefer somebody from UK, especially British people but it's not essential! (It because i can copy your accent if we speak)
Why is the o sound in погода an "ah" but the second o is "oh"???? Why is it not "pohgohda"?
A stressed "o" sounds as "o", an unstressed "o" sounds as "a"
@@RussianLevel1 as an italian that is the worst thing ever done by russians. If I write O why should pronunce it as an A???????

It's so hard but interesting 😅
welcome to the club 😆
