What you said about the eyes showing up made me think that the TV series that is playing now, is really playing the end of the legion story and that all of the people he is interacting with now are actually his personalities and he is about to wake up from a coma at the end of episode 8 and merge with his personalities.
I've been really enjoying the new FX show and found your video interesting to give me some backstory. There are some parallels but the show has definitely diverged from the comic in a lot of ways.

I definitely hope Legion isn't actually "gone for good". He's a galaxy killer, to be sure, and insanely OP in far too many ways. But the stories (much like the TV series) always seem to be all about reality, perception, the mind, and how they all interact. One of those themes that comics can be truly excellent at exploring in depth.
So Legion is Jewish (born to a jewish mother). That's awesome. He's even a true Israeli, knowing what a terror attack looks like. Hard to see this video in full if you're still trying to avoid spoilers and read it on your own, but from what I saw you've a great job here. Thank you!

I highly doubt that Legion's full story could be put on the big screen, his story is too complex to be resumed completely in a movie that can't last more than two or maybe three hours. If the writers, directors and producers of superhero movies sometimes can't satisfy the fans with a decent story based on comic book characters that are less complicated than Legion, it would be pointless to expect these people to give us something decent concerning Legion, the TV show known as Legion, which is aired on FX, is the most decent thing about this character that you'll find because David Haller is a very complicated character and I think that his story would be hard (if not impossible) to show properly in a TV show that has just 3 seasons or a movie that can't last more than two or three hours.
The story of this dude is very sad, like very sad. I felt this guy could've been way more prominent, but they decided to get rid of them because he was too problematic.
Legion seems very complicated without reading the comics it's hard to keep up with the back story. It would be almost impossible for the TV show to keep true to the comic version. I am curious what direction the TV show is going to go. Again great job on the video.
