While I have seen Muay Thai fighters who could likely overpower and KO an MMA guy because of superior striking ability, As a art MMA is more well rounded. Some MMA gyms offer basic Muay Thai classes anyway (sometimes adapted for MMA) and several different classes along with that. What are you looking for in a Martial Art?

ive practiced muay thai, and being physically fit plays a huge part, then some techniques, and true grit

Tiger MT is a gym, not a style. Hence they have Muay Thai classes along with NOGI Grappling/Submission Wrestling classes. And while MMA is illegal in Thailand, all of these skills are for MMA when they go back over to America. So they train Muay Thai and MMA basically.

I think it's only illegal to compete, you can sort of train the art, but not MMA as a sport. It is said to be illegal because they claim it is animalistic. However when the matter was investigated it seemed that it was likely that promoters and representatives of Muay Thai bribed the government to ban it. Muay Thai is huge over there, but they were scared of MMA because if it was introduced Muay Thai would make less money and lose popularity. In there eyes MMA was a stronger competitor, a threat

Why do most Muay Thai guys look like untrained slobs ? I mean, I saw this dude called Jean Charles Skarbowsky' on YT and he looked like a silly frenchmen, That was until he almost defeated Buakaw and almost killed everyone at TUF. Even some dudes in this video look like they can't even do 5 pushups or 2 pullups. I mean, Am I missing something here guys >
