Chamillionaire is so underrated man. he's the full package - incredible voice, flows, bars & he was one of the first mainstream rappers to utilize melody in the majority of his hooks. A GOAT
This is awesome. I discovered the full potential of Chamillionare when I listened to his song "Reignfall" on Spotify accidentally in 2017. I had of course heard "Ridin Dirty" many years earlier, but I never knew this guy had so many other AMAZING songs. For two years after that 2017/2019 I was hooked on all his albums, especially "Elevate" and "Reignfall" and songs like "Slow Loud & Bangin", "Overnight", "Here we go", "When Ya On" and "Ultimate Vacation". One of my favorite artists ever!!
I met Chamillionaire one time after a show in Denver, and he was an incredibly humble guy. He met with everyone, signed autographs, and took pictures. I have mad respect for this man. Can’t wait for the new content.
Cham has come a long way. From mixtapes to mainstream success all the way to the tech world. Very inspirational. He was one of the few rappers using melody and lyrical at the same time.
Cham I'm a fan of what you created when I was younger. I still listen to all my favorite songs. I'm a old man now with 4 kids but I appreciate the ride you took me on.... Stay strong brotha
Thanks for getting Chamillionaire on cam. He rarely does interviews but when he does they are like Ted Talks. He is underrated as a rapper and has put out classic albums that don't get enough credit. If the hip hop industry is like a casino, Chamillionaire found out how to beat the house.
I fell in love with The Sound Of Revenge album when it came out in 2005 I was 15 at the time.. that's actually one of my favorite Hip-Hop albums of all time! Nostalgic classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Great interview didn't see this coming

What him and Paul Wall did for baller rap is important. Big ups to Cham, I'm still jammin that Greatest Hits 2 disc set him n OG Ron C did

What impresses me so much about Cham is he didn’t overstay his welcome in hip hop as so many have done/are currently doing. He came/saw/conquered/moved on and then evolved. And he’s trying to get us into the mind frame to do so as well. Being a huge fan of Chan’s music as a teenager was incredible, but it’s dope that as I have grown up and changed, he’s done the same. Makes it as easy to look up to him at 27 as it was at 15
I think Chamillionaire has the best intro to any album ever.. listen to Sound Of Revenge Intro on his debut album Sound Of Revenge.. the way that track is set up is so dope and I still remember it by heart 16 years after the album dropped! Respect Crook for bringing this amazing rapper, man, entrepreneur, and inspiration to us in this format.. much love Crook & Cham
This IS MY MANS. I was a fan from the first bar. This dude was a whole different artist , not just a rapper. His setup to his songs are genius. A absolute legend and major influential part of my musical tastes. I can hear southern takeover as I write this
These interviews are so important for the culture, and Chamillionaire is WILDLY underrated as a rapper. Glad we all get to have an education. Thanks, professor Crook
Wisdom and excellence! Cham was always destined for Greatness! Always had that entrepreneurial mindset since listening to him as a kid back in the 2000’s. Definitely a legend to me coming from Texas. 🙏 Oh yeah, “Won’t Let You Down” is probably my favorite Cham track, still a banger! 🔥

Crooked I will always be in the goat conversation retired or not he’s in my top 5. I get what cam is saying a lot of people aren’t going to accept the evolution of a person.
I think that’s because most people are stuck being comfortable and accepting the status quo. I see this with people I work with. Stuck in the same position for 20 years, always running from projects that will gain them knowledge respect and additional money, never applying for higher standing jobs (that are usually easier) with more pay all the while I started as a temp, never ran from a challenge and always apply for jobs that are advancements and now have surpassed them. Never give up, never forget who you are or where you came from, treat everyone with respect and always stay hungry.

And their albums were tooo fire 🔥, and I also have massive respect for my brotha Crook, glad he brought this whole series back.
And as always DETROIT STAND UP!!!!!!!
this is such a dope interview. The way cham breaks down his thought process on the questions he's being asked is crazy because he's dropping so many gems 🔥🔥🔥
Cham is too dam smart and he sticks to his guns with it.
Yeah! My favorite most underrated! Good to see him after many years!
Awesome interview..I like that chamillionaire doesn’t glamorize his achievements. He shares his experiences and his knowledge in a way to try to motivate others. And let’s you know that there’s a lot of possibilities in life - don’t get stuck in a box or pigeonhole yourself.. keep learning and evolving.
Hearing Chamillionaire talk about being inspired by Canibus almost made my life come full circle.
But Cham you owe us fans a 3rd album.
Still waiting for that Playlist Poison.
Look up his old stuff with Color Changing Click
3rd album, you best check his discography. Get off that mainstream shit. "They only love you when ya on" so true....
Canibitch 😬
I’m so mad we never got venom
@@mattno9834 Cham from 98-04 boys had to be there

♥️✌🏼Great one with Cam, salute brother. CAM, you gave some great Gems in here, thanks. My parents were record dealers back in the 70s & 80s, so I loved your story. Skies the limit Cam, you the man on this. Best to both these Brothers. The Culture and the Future needs Crooks Corner Interviews because if someone watches them 30 years from now, they will activate learn something. He is not about drama or clout, he actually cares about showing love and giving people their flowers... He is a Real Hip Hop Professor that truly loves to educate and share stories with people. ♥️✌🏼

Chamillionaire was one of my fav rappers in high school… now to get to know why what a brilliant man he is, I realize why… his freestyle on BET was legendary..
Does he have a classic album? If so please recommend.
@@williamwalsh3983 personally, i like Mixtape Messiah 4. If you can find it. His entire body if work is great though, dont just look at the studio albums
@@williamwalsh3983 ultimate victory is a classic for me personally, but like the other guy said, check out his mixtapes you'll be surprised.
Bro his first freestyle in the basement, the one he did with Busta, is sooooooo lit. One of the best ones to ever touch that booth.

Top 5 most underrated rappers of all time.
For those who aren't familiar with his ability:
1. Guess Who's Back (Intro)
2. International Money
3. I Run It
4. No Snitchin'
5. Get Ya Burners Out
I advise everyone to listen to this man's catalog.
I’ll give you one: Keep Hating pt. 2
K-Rino whom they mentioned in this podcast is the most underrated and all though Chamillionaire is underrated I think it's a reach claiming he's top 5 most underrated...he has a solid fan base and had his time in the spotlight, there are emcees who have been grinding for decades with lyrical mastery who no one even knows...Chamillionaire is underrated but far from the most underrated.
I'm a Chamillionaire fan from day one I'm str8 out the H. He gives game all the time no matter what he do!
Cham dropping knowledge 🙌💎
*Aye it's Chabillionaire!!!* 🦎🔥 #SouthernLegend
I still listen to Rasaq from time to time. The grass is green Boi. Great interview
