Alter Bridge performs "On My Way Now" acoustically live in Indianapolis (2004) This is a rare B-Side written during the ODR sessions that was never recorded or released.
I was at this show and I didn't know any video recordings existed!!! If I remember correctly this was at The Patio in Indianapolis and only around 100 people were in attendance. I think you had to win tickets through X103 or something like that. I can't really remember but this was purposely supposed to be a small, intimate show for Alter Bridge. This WAS the first ever live performance by Alter Bridge and afterwards I remember buying multiple beers for Mark Tremonti and hanging out with him talking music and shit. The entire band just hung out after the show with us all for a couple hours. The band handed out 8x10 band promo photos and I had the entire band sign mine. I still have mine on my wall. This was one of the coolest events I have ever been a part of and 99.9% of people never knew this VERY small pure acoustic performance ever existed in this tiny little bar in Indy on August 17, 2004.
This was shot by me - the guys did give me permission 😊. I actually recorded the entire show. They hung out with us for a few hours afterward drinking a few beers. (Myles did not partake). One of the best nights ever. A few years later when I met Mark again I had him autograph a photo of us from that night!

Please release this! We have been waiting patiently for 14 years!! It was awesome to hear new one day remains esq music with Breathe. Would love to hear this a little less muffled.
What I’d give (like the rest of us) for a proper version of this song. Noticed a few ideas that have crept into other songs though which is even cooler somehow 😍
I'm crying seriously. Wow. This song is so powerful and beautiful. What an excellent performance. It's a shame they didn't release it yet.

lol, this intro and verse part was on Mark Tremonti DVD in the acoustic examples ;] Same goes to life must fo on from ABIII as well as Away in Silence from "Full Circle". BTW, check his DVD out, it's really great :) Amazing song
Myles can't sing like that anymore, his voice has a different timbre now (which is very good), it's a shame that we will never get a studio version good as this performance anymore.
He can still hit these notes, but not with the same timbre. Myles has lost his low register and high register timbre, he changed his style of singing so he could save his voice and continue to make music. Listen to One Day Remains songs and Fortress songs, now he sounds more nasal and that makes him reach really high notes, but with the timbre from back in the days.
