@@nanosanimations8705 NOPE!!!!!
@@carlosrivas1629 you are freaking out for no reason, He was very generous to the show.
If you want to throw a tantrum go watch the review from heelsvsbabyface.
I think Greg's the only RUclipsr who can get away with comparing an entire show to a certain toy and still have it make sense.
The show is a new Sabrina, of course there is a market for it.
@vertigo2894 With Salem as the main character apparently...
It's an interesting comparison, but it's not everything it's cracked up to be.
@@vertigo2894 IMHO, it tries to be new Sabrina, but less teenagy, less polished and dumber than the predecessor due to lack of a creative team, so no. It would be like latest Doctor Who season, only without many returning fans.
@@ИгорьЛ-л6ш That's the antiwoke tubers talking, same mantra for everything. The story is fine, the premise is good.
Now let's do a Sex and the City remake aimed at people who love Schwarzenegger movies. What could possibly go wrong?

So, for RUclipsrs
@@bricelory9534leftist coomser RUclipsr because you got to be into the messaging and willing to have really low standards because it has messaging or lives to consume media and products blindly
I expected very little from a show following a show where someone said "They'll never know what you sacrificed for them." After that person mentally tortured people to the point they were wishing for the end.
Yeah, the morality at Disney is completely broken now
Including children and even babies. It’s fine for SW to be immoral and evil, but not the hero Monica Rambeaux. And especially not the POV author.
That line was written by someone being abused. Think about it Scarlet Witch is canonically extremely powerful ranks right up there towards the top in terms of OP. If you were trying to get out of a confrontation you knew you’d lose with Wanda that line is what you would say. So I think whoever wrote that is working under a narcissist that holds a good deal of power in the company and it’s bleeding into their writing. But hey who knows, I’m just saying that’s the only way the line makes sense to me.
@@fd502 It makes perfect sense when you consider hollywood is fine with people like wienstien and epstein. Diddy might be added to that list too, if the rumours are true.

“Han Solo season” took me out
2000's Werewolves, 2010's vampires, 2020's witches, 2030's ... Im guessing Frankensteins

@@user-gm4kv2my4u Hocus Pocus, The Craft, Charmed, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Witches, Sleepy Hollow, Halloweentown, Practical Magic, and on and on and on. My point was just that “witchcraft” was hugely popular in the 90s. You’re just seeing a resurgence because the women that watched all of that are in charge now.
Know what I like about this channel? It’s fair. You easily could have just relentlessly dunked on this show like we know some of the…’other’ channels are going to do. But you actually gave this show a lot more props than I thought you were going to. Speaks to your credibility. PS - I would never in one million years subject myself to this show haha. Cheers
To be honest, after what we have seen, I also find the more negative opinions valid too. Both are their own flavor of critique
I was fully prepared to dunk on it, but I was surprised by how well it was structured. Same writer as WandaVision, so that tracks. Credit where it's due, but I still didn't enjoy myself.
Haha, well I'm glad you watched me watch it, instead!
@@gustavolourenco5709I think what makes Greg more credible is that he gives his honest opinions on stuff. Not just towing the political line that the left and the right are both guilty of.
@@Linklex7 Yes, that's true. But what I'm saying is that is ok If you can't see the good side and elements on these shows. You don't need to. In the end these are our own opinions, factual or not. Like saying "at least they polished the turd..."
I completly agree with Greg here, but I don't wanna look the bright side on bad content everytime.
People are allowed to fully hate shows and give their opinion without worrying about offending you...
As a gay man, seeing gay characteres like that fills me with frustration, I'm just an average dude going through life wanting my sexuality NOT to be the main factor in my personality but these actors keep other people from doing that because THEIR sexuality is the ONLY personality trait they have.
I saw nothing gay about it. The boyfriend calling was the only thing I noticed
This is how you have and maintain a career in Hollywood and politics now.🤷🏿♂️
Agreed! Their identity is the only thing that matters to these people though. They are not representative of anyone but themselves. Its sad and ruins story telling.
Based gay guy 🔥
This. I'm not gay but I know quite a few gay people. And yeah a few of them are extremely flamboyant. But the majority of them are just normal people. Why does Hollywood need to paint gay people as a stereotype? Isn't that supposed to be bad? They do the same thing for women but as a male stereotype. Which is just as bad as painting us as a female stereotype. Hollywood needs to get away from stereotyping all together. Let's go back to actual characters.
It's SO obvious that lesbians wrote this, and made this for themselves. This should do really well.
3.5% of the population can make something successful right? What do you mean no?!
I'm a bi-sexual, 40 year old woman who loves cats, and I'm single. I'm like the stereotypical cat lady, lol (except I definitely lean more right politically than most I guess). But they can't even produce stuff I want to watch anymore. There's so many women - straight, bi, gay, whatever - who also hate this bs - and it's doing nothing for women as a whole but making those of us who fit into the 'target audience' look terrible. So I think the percentage of even bi/gay people who will watch this crap is even way less than they think.
Or written by someone trying to pander to lesbians who actually cares nothing about them!
@@LadyBeyondTheWallchildless cat ladies have no value.
The side character from another side character's show gets her own show that wasn't made for me. Sounds like a winner.

Yeah but do you like Aubrey Plaza as an actress or just because you find her charming? Because she's the same character every roll.
@@christophertaylor9100 I thought she was great in Parks and Rec. But, don't really care for her playing that same exact character in other movies and shows. That dark, montone and safe/edgy type-of-character was fun 12 years ago. But I agree with you. It gets redundant...

You're making the right choice to bail on this one. Disney couldn't pay me to watch it. I'm sick of their brand of "girl power" - narcissism, bully behavior, equal-opportunity lechery, and a weird obsession with the occult. And this is small potatoes among everything wrong with this show, but I'm so TIRED of the Salem Witch Trials being referenced by every inane piece of media involving witches, including the stupid souvenir shops in Salem itself. The victims of Salem weren't witches at all - they were pious Puritans just like everyone else in their village, who happened to run afoul of some maladjusted teenaged girls and power-hungry adults. Quite a few of the victims were men, with Giles Corey being given the most agonizing death in the group. It's the wrong historical event to use in vapid pop culture, especially agenda-driven vapid pop culture like this. Please forgive the rant. I have to get it off my chest every Halloween season.
Everything that I have read about the Salem witch trials points to the fact there were NO real witches of any kind, there. They were good people who got caught up in the madness of mass psychosis and hysteria. Knowing sage is good for stomach problems and Valerian aids in sleep are not things that lead to serving the Darkness.
Absolutely correct... good, decent people caught up with mass psychosis and power-hungry leaderships using the hysteria of their community to see enemies were there were none. Not one evil witch among them. Giles Corey suffered a horrible death because he wasn't going to play the stupid games of the ones using the mass madness of the town. I'm tired of people using this old history. Real people died, over the centuries because of fear, irrationality and mass hysteria.. we should remember them with respect. We should remember those who killed them with understanding. We all have the capacity to do terrible things when we are whipped into a frenzy of hate and fear. We aren't all that different. Don't encourage our inner demons to take over.
It's interesting to note the growing interest/obsession with Paganism in pop culture, despite the frequent denouncement of religion and its structures by the postmodernists creating pop culture.
@@kathleenhensley5951 Wonderfully said 💯
@@LoganChristianson Isn't that interesting? I noticed this years ago. My New Age aunt (who was a Wiccan for a while) is married to an atheist. He would mock my parents' Catholicism and constantly try to lure me away from the faith...but he found her witch antics endearing and enjoyed watching her and her friends cast spells. You'd think he'd have even more contempt for that. What I learned was that these types are fine with religion and supernatural beliefs, even really fringe ones, as long as it's not based on the Bible. They've always openly attacked Christians, and after a certain world event last year, they now feel comfortable openly attacking Jews too. They've used secular rationalism as a smokescreen for a long time. I'm afraid to ask what's really behind that smokescreen.
As a father that wants to pass along my favorites: this is completely skippable. Why would my adult daughter care about this!?
Agreed, I asked my teens not to watch this one. What is even the point here? I'm not sure if Marvel is going to try to tie this in with Young Avengers or resurrect Wanda, but hopefully they let this show and all ties to it die

Pretty sure this show was made to please the people making the show. Disney stopped caring about audience feedback a long time ago. Deadpool and Wolverine only worked because it is very much not a product of the Disney/Marvel hive-mind. It’s a Ryan Reynolds’s superhero movie, and he fought hard to keep it that way now that Disney is signing the checks.
I think this might be another show for the showrunner like Acolyte. I saw an interview about this being the "gayest Marvel project" which is a red flag warning
Yeah, when you lead with that, it tells me what I need to know

Woman who have hit the wall.
The mother from that 70s Show will end up being Aubrey Plaza. Haven't watched a minute of this show but still calling it.

Fantastic use of analogy.
Activity writers see themselves in the villains, and the villains in themselves. They want to rewrite them as misunderstood, not bad guys. And here we are about 10 years into that take over
Good point by the end. Disney as a brand was always identified with family entertainment. The parks, the movies, the merchandise, everything yelled "FAMILY", "FOR CHILDREN", and I do remember a couple of jokes taunting it as "BORING AND BLAND" for that reason, which could be true, but also a positive if you are a parent and don't have the time and resources to screen everything that reaches your children. Now that the wall was purposedly torn down by the company and the trust lost, wonder what this direction may bring for Disney.
You add a whole new charm to this genre of video essay/ film review. Your personality (and wisdom) is the biggest draw imo. Keep up the good work
Most people forgot this show even existed
I did not entirely anticipate where that metaphor was going. That was even more niche than my assumption and probably very correct in that.
I'm not entirely sure it got to where it was going but I sure had a good laugh along the way!
Thank you for mentioning, Agatha IS a baddie! Why do so reviewers talk about how the protagonist of this show killed, kidnapped, and tortured people in the last show she was in? As a woman myself, I HATE them making us like this as protagonists.
Not even Aubrey Plaza could get me to subscribe to a month of Disney+.
This is literally Tumblr stories like plagiarism levels. I’m wouldn’t be surprised if someone actually sues.

Can the MCU just die already, it's just so hopeless at this point.
They need a solid restart, BADLY. Secret War is scheduled for 2027, but I think that's way too late to get people to give a crap
@@gregowen2022 Actually taking a break would not necessarily be a bad thing. Make people also forget about some of the crappy stuff. I just doubt at this point that they will have good stories and writing for "Secret War"... or characters anyone cares about. I mean... nobody cared about Thor, Cap or Iron Man before their first movie either, so who knows, but it seems Marvel has completely lost the plot on how to make characters that people care about.
As someone who was a HUGE fan during the Infinity Saga, the drop off into a complete mess was so fast post Endgame it’s staggering. They well and truly killed the Golden Goose.

I have a feeling they’ll be studying all the angry little man babies that get so upset about comic book movies.
@@TheRealDavidFarmer "They were angry man babies - who were ultimately right. The shows were dumb and nobody watched them despite all the twitter hype and virtue signaling from the 'modern audience,' that supposedly made up the majority."
Your fair and balanced take makes to much sense. I appreciate it here. Hope the channel grows.
I appreciate the encouragement!
I watched WandaVision when it first released and as someone who doesn't read comics, I was shocked at the Agatha twist. In the episodes before the reveal, Katherine Han(?) did this amazing job of making Agatha over-the-top and charismatic and she's remained the same for this show, so far. I have watched the first two episodes and I'm here for it! In the same way that everything about Puss in Boots The Last Wish was fantastic and ridiculous and unhinged but remained an absolute delight the whole way through, I really hope the Agatha show delivers that too.
I really hope your channel grows and I hope it grows rapidly. The more voices we have exposing these people the better. Great job and I wish you millions of subs
Not gonna lie, the posterior agitator analogy had me pretty perturbed for the first half, and then it made total sense when you brought everything together in the second. I'm very conflicted, because on one hand, I don't want to think about things like that, but on the other, I feel like the analogy is hilarious and accurate for this show. So I guess all I can do is tip my hat and laugh at the well executed analogy. This was a fun, short video!
I kept drifting in and out of understanding the buttplug joke, but i...think i understood it by the end?
Long gone are the days of Sex and the City, or Gilmore Girls, or Charmed… when women were fun, and sexy, and courageous or daring, and… yeah
Han Solo season. That one got me laughing!
This is one of the best, most polished, most consistently entertaining, most "off-kilter but strangely likable" video you've done yet.
All of the asides were masterful, the topic was interesting, and the butt-plug analogy was clever and made for not only good comedy but for a good point.
A lot of times a comedian or entertainer is only as good as what material he has to work with, but I feel like you almost fabricated an entertaining video whole-cloth, with the show being barely necessary at all.
Again, masterful execution of this video! Top-notch. First-rate.
They saw the success of Deadpool and Loki and theyre trying to recreate it, this time with a female villain, but besides even the fact that they are using a margarita mom as the template, as you pointed out, there's just the simple fact that they are rushing and not giving us time to actually care about this character.
It took TWO movies - Thor and The Avengers - for mainstream audiences to care about Loki. The original Phase 1 movies were in the same position as these TV shows, completely optional to the mainstream audience. Evenmoreso, Loki underwent a redemption arc during FIVE movies and got his show at the height of audience sympathy for the character.
Sure Deadpool 1 blew away box office expectations, but that also came from word of mouth and building hype that came with how infamously bad the character was done the first time in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, meaning even the spectacular start to his trilogy wasn't Wade's first movie appearance. (And, its worth noting just how long that surgence was building. Ryan Reynolds played a Deadpool-like villain in Blade 3, which caused comic fans AND writers to compare him to Deadpool, which got him hooked on the character, which led to all of this. There was a solid decade of grassroots building momentum leading to the Deadpool trilogy.)
So, if Marvel REALLY wanted proper build-up for this, why wasnt Agatha included in Multiverse of Madness? Why do they think that they can hook an entire audience on a side character because of a somewhat clever plot twist that they did in another show YEARS ago?
There’s also another though pill of truth for screenwriters to swallow:
Gender typical traits are not attractive to viewers when swapped.
A cocky (Iron Man), unfeeling (Sherlock Holmes), self-serving (early Loki) and immature (Scott Pilgrim) characters work better as male without becoming grating.
(I can’t explain the psychology behind this. I’m sure Greg would make an awesome video about the topic!)
Whereas “born sexy yesterday” (Holli Would), cutesy fumbling type (Tohru Honda), tsundere (Max Mayfield), naively well-meaning (Snow White) and the spunky kid (Xena) work as female but run a higher risk of becoming frustrating when converted into males.
I guess we subconsciously recognize those behavioral patterns gender-specific and they feel out of place when implemented in the wrong gender?
And that’s all the rave in Hollywood.
Male-coded toxic females and effeminate, dumb comic relief men without the endearing qualities of women.
@@kuroeltheog I agree! I would say that all of the negative archetypes that you listed for men or women have been executed well when gender swapped, but the writers always carefully remembered what was endearing / cathartic about that character type to the audience that's supposed to find it endearing / cathartic.
Like, part of the big problem for all of these badass stoic female characters is that they are ignoring everything that the audience actually finds endearing about stoic badasses... They are protectors. Wolverine is good, but you know what makes him great? Kitty, Rogue, Jubilee, Laura, take your pick. John McClain did everything he did for his wife and kids. Terminator was great action sci-fi, but T2 was the actual blockbuster, making SIX times more money by reprogramming Arnold into a protector. Pedro Pascal has built a career on this. John Wick took this to its logical conclusion. And Sarah Connor and Ripley are both mothers. Xena had Gabi as her morality pet/chain. Who do Captain Marvel, Rey, or Galadriel have? These writers are so desperate to capture the lone wolf masculine energy of a classic 80s hero that they disregard everything that makes a POPULAR hero.
To your point, YES, There will always be some people in the audience who are affected by the gender. A female character who eventually still becomes the protector of a child, may upset some people because they feel society is pushing the inevitability of kids onto women. This can be circumvented by it being a lover, student, other family, or rescued person instead.
Captain Marvel had both a possible adopted daughter and a student/protege dynamic and it failed miserably to deliver either of those in the Marvels movie because it couldn't get out of its way long enough to treat the premise seriously. I've watched grown men cry watching the toddler show Bluey because they were terrified of doing something that could cause their children to be disappointed in them. Even a single moment of a young child inspiring Wolverine to be a better hero is enough to cause people to say the movie is oscar-worthy. Beetlejuice is A FREAK trying to marry a high schooler but it's STILL cathartic to watch him punish people that hurt Lydia's family. You have to desperately avoid what you have made up in your mind are "tired, dated cliches" in order to dodge the tropes we naturally associate with stoic badass characters as much as these modern writers do with galadriel who was a wife and mother at the time the show takes place, or Ray who they didn't even give the Android, I have to keep remembering that bb8 belongs to Poe cuz I keep assuming that it would be Ray's, or Captain Marvel. 🤮
@@kuroeltheog I have to disagree. Katniss Everdeen (Hunger games) had a lot of character traits that are typically male with her stoic standoffish nature. I'd say Officer hops had a lot of more typically male traits with her more extroverted and excitable personality compared to being reserved or soft spoken. These characters actually worked because they're decently written. They are also supported by competent male characters characters whom actually challenge them, call them on their bullshit, force them to face their character flaws, and grow from them.
I forgot this show, and even the title character, even existed.
Watching the first 2 episodes I had the same impressions as you did: this is well executed, the pacing is good, they're introducing characters quickly and yet with a decent amount of background information. I appreciated their parody of overly dour detective series with a grumpy protagonist, usually inspired from some better-made Nordic show. I also giggled at the potshots they took at Gwyneth Paltrow and her products (jade vagina egg and weird scented candles) that they took via the black witch character.
As a Charmed enjoyer back in the day I don't mind giving this show a chance, there's a SLIM possibility it could just be a decent one-off seasonal witch romp fun. I am a guy though so I completely see how these characters can be extremely annoying to people. So far I can stomach them and I don't mind their being rotten because that's kind of the point. The way to do that is to add more dimensions to the characters instead of dialing their annoying attributes to 11 (which I'm afraid will happen) and at the same time don't go overboard into insane chanting and sisterhood crap.
That being said I'm still waiting for that horror aspect to kick in: the Salem Seven or whatever were laughable, just a bunch of people in robes moving in a slightly coordinated fashion. Show me some real dread, develop some hard magic rules that make a bit of sense and add some depth to the characters and you could really have something decent.
...Or do none of that, stick with cliches all around and become another Acolyte. Let's see if Marvel can do better than LucasFilm.
I didn't dislike Agatha in WandaVision, but when they announced she would have her own show, I thought, "Why?"
The Gay explosion at the end should end with."I have become death the destroyer of worlds"😂
Bro... your content creation game is "next level"
"You want quality... tungsten... fine crystal... these are good materials"
As someone who enjoys many forms of media made by gay/queer creators or “queer-friendly” productions (The Golden Girls, Frasier, first seasons of Orange is the New Black, Will & Grace, everything grazed by Howard Ashman, youtubers like Amir Odom, AJ Sanchez, Lindsay Ellis, NikkieTutorials, Brad Polumbo, Clarkson Lawson, etc.) I think Disney is doing immense damage to gays by conflating being gay with being overtly sexual.
At least AJ, Clarkson, Brad and Amir (all gay men) have been very vocal about their distaste of this trend of media and activists pushing the gay agenda by depicting gay people as incessantly thirsty.
The gay characters nowadays are being written by middle-aged straight women who claim to be gay by cosplaying bisexual.
Isn't "gay culture" necessarily (maybe not fully but at least partially) overtly sexual? The identity centers around who you want to have sex with. The only notable example I can think of that simply plays with the stereotypes is Modern Family, but I don't watch much modern TV.
@@LoganChristianson I can only reply as a boring and vanilla cis-het female with some fleeting gay acquaintances, but according to my understanding, there’s a significant difference in the gay “scene” (clubbing/Grindr) and everyday gay life.
Gay “scenes” are very hypersexualized but that really doesn’t affect day-to-day interactions.
None of the gays I’ve come across have ever been sex-crazed in professional setting or in casual get-togethers.
They are not making uncouth remarks about every decently attractive passerby’s or casually dropping TMI about their private lives.
Unlike Hollywood likes to write them.
None of the gays I’ve interacted with have been like: “GUUUURL. Would you look at that hunka meat! Did you catch a shiny on that daddy’s ring finger by any chance?”
Like. Literally never.
@@kuroeltheog Is it really "gay media" then? If the viewer can't tell that they're gay outside of "they have a same-sex partner" (which won't be immediately apparent in every scene they might be together in), do the people these shows cater to believe it to still be "Gay media"?
@@LoganChristianson That’s a very valid question.
I think a lot of (older) media is labeled as “gay/queer/queer-friendly” by portraying gay culture in a non-judgmental light. Maybe by simply featuring a queer character in the first place (ie. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Sex in the City).
I don’t know.
Russell T Davies wanted to incorporate gayness into Doctor Who in the early noughties, but it wasn’t overtly obvious to me then. Now, very much so. That piece of IP has definitely been “gayfied”.
I could maybe say that I’m not entirely sure what “gay media” _isn’t_ but I certainly can say what it _is_.
@@kuroeltheog The point I'm getting at is it seems to me that the consumer that looks for "gay media" wants to have their cake and eat it too. If something is so overtly sexual, the complaint is "this hyper-sexualization is detrimental to the progress we're trying to make because it makes everyone think 'being gay' is all about 'gay sex' specifically and nothing else", but if isn't overtly sexual, the complaint is "it isn't doing enough, it's not really gay media." Or as you put it, it's simply just "queer friendly."
I think the "queer friendly" shows are what everyone who wants to continue progress of acceptance ought to be striving for. This series is, in the regard you're afraid of, damaging to such movements.
If I hadn't already liked this I would have liked it simply for you bringing up Leverage! That show was fantastic! Literally phenomenal! Everyone should watch it!
Barry's tea is legitimately delicious. Their Gold is our favorite. Glad to see it getting some love.
I am glad that Disney (again) made a show that pre-informed me that this show was not made for me, a male that enjoyed both Dr. Strange movies (MOM was a Sam Raimi movie shoehorned into the MCU-I got what I expected) and WandaVision. It saves me time and money that I can spend in other ways. Thank you, Disney!
You know, dude, you don't have to be crude to make a funny point.
That being said, bless your heart.
I got a Disney+ ad right after watching your video. Kinda made me chuckle.
This show exemplifies what you were talking about in another video - this show was made for the people who wrote it.
Walt's head will be spinning in it's cryo tube.
I honestly did not expect the Agatha show to actually come out. I think they were going to cancel it but decided they would desperately try to make SOME money out of it.
When you engage in a request for a like, you should refer to it as a sacred covenant and treat it like a supernatural deal with a demon.
Another great one Greg! Thank you for making these
Thank you very much!
Personally I use the "fabergé butt plug" metaphor, but I found the convergent evolution onto that joke extremely amusing.
I forgot it was going to be a show, i thought it was going to be a movie it didnt't look like it had enough material to sustain a serie but when has that stopped Disney 😂😂😂
Right?! Some of their shows lately CLEARY have about 3 episodes of plot, stretched over 8 episodes. It's hard to watch without a speed up extension
Magic the Gathering reference was not what I was expecting, but im not complaining! Long live green decks!🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳
I'm more swamp-island mix
Of actors who play the same character in everything, there are 2 that I forgive, because I love them; Aubrey Plaza and Danny McBride.
We've seen Agatha more than any of the New Avengers. Marvel is lost and Deadpool was a one off.
"This show seems like a solid mirror polished tungsten or, perhaps, Swarovski Chrystal butt plug 🔌" iv never heard a show described so elegantly. Bravo 👏
Agatha is a classic marvel superheroine.... and I would never made a series about her. With so many popular heroes on the marvel universe you chose her? It's as if the executives are alien people who read numbers and data without understanding how humans work. People want enterteinment to be entertaining, and if you use the an IP I want to see my favorite characters there.
The audience for the show is going to be small.
first) they need to be a marvel fan
second) they need to have watched all necessary MCU content to understand this show
Third) they need to still care about the MCU.
Fourth) they have to be interested enough to pay for Disney+ to watch it
Fifth) They need to want to see gay sexual implicit/explicit content
Sixth) They need to be ENJOY AND LIKE THESE CHARACTERS....
Wanda's magic just doing whatever is a problem that stems from the comics. She is a mutant who's ability is a vague undefined magic that just moves the plot where it needs to go.
Which is a Major issue for many of these new heros. Most of their powers boil down to vaguely defined energy where the only noted difference is the color of the cgi.
As you said in a previous video, the shows are made for the writer/ director and no one else.
The actress Kathryn Hahn is going to get so much work with that jawline.
"We're getting the gang... bang, back together."
Our canceling Disney+ subscription is looking better and better all the time.
Trample😂. Love a good mtg reference.
As you said in the video before this one, it was made for the writer, showrunner and producer of this show and the guys from the acolyte.... woohooo... they got 50 people to watch it... good for them... GREAT way to spend the fortune walt disney made making family entertainment
Wanda's Magic in the Comcis is to manipulate the probability of reality to do what she desires, she's supposed to have plot device Magic, it's part of the Character
I'd rather watch the old BBC made-for-TV Hitchhiker's Guide movie than suffer through this D+ slop.
Barry’s Tea should sponsor you, I would buy some just to support. 🤣
On your Barry's Irish breakfast tea, let me tell you, here in Ireland, it's just called tea and it's pronounced tay.
"Are ya makin' the tay?"
Greg, you may have just peaked with the butt plug analogy. I don't know if you'll ever top that. Simple perfect, well done my friend
Haha, it did feel inspired. In terms of that flavor of analogy, I'm sure I WANT to top it. It would get really weird, real fast
The bar is set. The world is watching.....well a small audience, but still a bigger audience than is watching this show....so maybe you'll get tapped for the Nomad gender swap D+ Marvel show for phase 6
the MTG reference was hilarious
MTG, green creatures that can trample. NICE!
New fan love your style of reviews critical, but intellectually honest and fair. I would live to see you pick apart the witcher's decline from season 1-3, but if you haven't read the books you'd kind of be fumbling blind on what went so wrong. If you have.... Do it! (emperor voice)
My girlfriend wanted to watch the first two episodes because she liked WandaVision so much. I thought they were fairly bland, but that didn't bother me since I expect most of the make-or-break with take place while the coven is traveling The Witch's Road. Also, Agatha convincing Aubrey Plaza to spare her by pulling a Goku "you want to fight me at my strongest!" was hilariously absurd to me.
It’s in the LEGO aisle for DINKs.
Good choice with the tea 🇮🇪
I think this show is for the real housewives crowd. That woman who watches Grays on ABC and Netflix
Sir Greg, any thoughts on space Marine 2????
I've heard a lot of good things, but also that there will be more content out later? I'm eager to see it for myself, because I'd like a fun intro to the WarHammer universe, but I have to put it in the queue
Major points from me for Barry's
