this live set is like my happy place
Went to see Perturbator (again) a week back. Basically what we need is another video like this one, just with his most recent live set - guitar stuff, tracks from Lustful Sacraments - the works.
I did the same two month ago. I have to say I was very disapointed by the new stuff, and the whole set seemed like it had gone very soft. I was there for hard-hitting music and could not find it back.
@@426baron imo the new stuff is still heavy, just not in the way people are familiar with. But to each their own I suppose.

music is great but this dude i literally not doing a thing. The drummer is doing all the work
he plays some parts like the melody of neo tokyo at 7:28 future club leads at 11:37 and 12:26 on the prophet 6 synth and bass lines (13:28 on mopho x4 synth) but he can't play all the tracks, it's electronic music, there are computer sequencer parts to keep the energy of the base track and in his new tour play guitar and synth
it's not like a fake dj set where the guy raises his hands the whole time, it's perturbator live 🔥
this guy composed all the songs and invented a whole new musical landscape, I don't think he needs to play anymore ^^

I love Perturbator like A LOT, one of my fav dark synth artist.. but this "live" perfomance have nothing of live. I know is electronic musica, but cmon.. Watch some Magic Sword live perfomance, they play almost everything live. Here the drummer is making all the work, but on the keyboards he is just holding one key, and I thing he can play live a lot more parts of his songs.

I really like their music but their image doesn't match it....I actually thought this was Juno Reactor, then i saw the over turned car nice stage...
I like Perturbator really much, but in this "live sequence" he's almost not touching a single key, just headbanging... What's the point of this?
But he literally does the same thing while performing on festivals and whatnot? Maybe it doesn't look like that, because you don't see him from different angles, but I assure you it's the same. Also why are we ignoring the drummer? The man gave it his all, he deserves some recognition and praise too.

it's true that we rarely see him playing on the keyboard but he really plays on the keyboard sometimes it's a little melody so we don't really see the movement of the fingers he's not just headbanging
