    I really wish I could speak English out loud as well as I can speak English inside my head 😆 I’m too shy and start stuttering and mispronouncing even the easy words

      Don't worry - it's really common if you've never had an opportunity to regularly speak it. All the best!

    My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

    Great content Max. I am practicing reading out loud, tongue twisters, shadowing, from last 3 months on a regular basis. I didn't notice any change in the beginning, but after 15-20 days of consistent practice I felt like something had changed within me. I feel more confident, more fluent and now I don't fear speaking in English. I am still working on all these exercises. Since learning and improving are continuous process. The more you practice the more you become good at not just English but anything you do. I want to advice people have faith in yourself, believe in yourself and do hard work consistently you will succeed at anything in your life. Put your heart into it and you'll see magic is happening. Consistent is the key. At last I want to thank you(Max) again for your great work of imparting knowledge and helping people in improving. Stay blessed and keep up the great work.

    What a wonderful video, thank you so much for your very useful advices, and yes it's true I had the same experience about reading, I used to not read aloud, so I thought I had a good pronunciation till the day I decided to record myself, and with my surprise I realized that I didn't sound like I thought, that was only in my imagination. Now I know that reading not aloud can be tricky, and I've started reading aloud everytime I can this is helping me so very much! 😉 I love all of your videos, thanks for making them and thanks a lot for your help!

    Hi, max this is the fantastic tips you've given. I've been learning English for one year. I like reading out loud like the article when I read out loud simultaneously I record my voice then after I listen to my voice whatever words I couldn't have ho to pronounce I go the Google and type that word and listen to that word how it has pronounced that word but speaking to my self that is a little bit weird. I always do imitation and shadowing practice for native speakers. I'm watching native speakers' interviews, watching English tv show subtitles without subtitles watching English movies but when it comes to speaking English I barely speak English. what should I do about speaking English? I know reading out loud is an important part of our mouth muscle but exactly what should I do? Please suggest to me. Thanks.

So I have learned most from just reading every thing out loud when I play games. In the begining i sounded like a 1st grader that reads for The first time but nog i can read better. Great video.

    Sure; talking to ourselves really works and it's also a good way to think carefully what we are about to say or do... even in our native language!
    Every time I listen to your Spanish I confirm that it is much better if we consciously pick a particular English instead of speaking in a Frankenstein way what we consider a neutral English....Your Spanish from Spain is perfect! And I also know a few English native speakers who speak in a perfect Argentinean, Peruvian or Mexican Spanish!

    • @EnglishwithMax
      @EnglishwithMax  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, I think it's definitely easier if we stick to a particular one :). But at the same time, I think the most important thing is to be clear and understandable. I should also add that Australian English is a bit of a mix between British and American English haha. E.g. Sometimes we pronounce the T in "better" like a normal T, and sometimes it's more like a D (American pronunciation)!
